whats snow ? Yeah, I forgot all about snow too since I moved to Las Vegas back in 1999. I have never even used my chains. True story: one time back in 2001 I was getting ready to drive my truck from Las Vegas to Seattle in December. Although I drove up the coast on Highways 1 and 101 (an awesome scenic drive and a warmer one too than going up I-5), I first wanted to get some deicer and an ice scraper because there was some supposedly bad weather up in northern California and in Oregon. When I went to the auto parts store in Las Vegas to buy that stuff, the clerk acted like he had no idea what deicer was. Apparently they really don't sell deicer here in Las Vegas. But then again, our summers can get really hot here in the desert. But I really like the dry weather here because I don't suffer from allergies like I did when I used to live in Seattle.

Keep warm , get the kettle on . What a great excuses to play more COTG !
Loved the what's snow . Its like that here in Manchester , UK . When it does show about half an inch , the news always reports its a crisis . Then you see other parts of the world many feets under .

I'd like a little snow. It's going to start the climb into the 80's this week in Phoenix.

We've gotten well over a foot here in the last 24 hours. All I've been able to do is:
1. Work a 10 hour day yesterday 2. Go for dinner and drinks with some friends 3. Go to the Buffalo Bandits lacrosse game (won 11-7 over Minnesota Swarm) where attendance was down to about 12,000 due to the weather. 4. Go grocery shopping. 5. Do eveything else I normally do on weekends.
Dress warm. Buy a shovel. It's only snow.
