OHL WEEKEND SHOW result from the Deimos Olympic Auditorium
Show #1 (Saturday night)
1.El Sombre Negra and Shorty Boyd( in their OHL debut as a team) beat The Fight Club (w/Leather Hyde) in a violent affair to open the show. Leather Hyde has no trouble getting involved, and does so on several occasions, mostly to supply his men with weapons. This match quickly devolves into an impromptu weapons match as both teams batter each other with plunder. Shorty Boyd uses a power drill to pistol whip Kudo until he is bloody beyond the point of recognition! Boyd finishes off the assault with his CORNER RAID CRASH, but Leather Hyde is able to save. On the outside, Negra and Boyd have a pair of tables stacked on top of each other, and with Angel Heart laid out across the top table, El Sombre Negra puts him through the tables with the Salvadorian Stomp!!!!! In the ring Boyd finishes the match by pinning Kudo with a Busaiku Knee Kick.
2.Black Romeo (w/Junkie XL) beat the unpredictable Kraze (in both wrestler’s OHL debut) with a Romeo’s Kiss Jawbreaker. The fans really got behind Kraze and his wacky ringside antics, unfortunately the fans support was not enough to carry Kraze to the finish.
3.Maximo and Diego (w/Maxine Babe) beat Deadbeat and Fiasco when Fiasco was forced to submit to the TITAN NECKTIE. Deadbeat absorbed much of the punishment in the match and had things well in hand until Maximo and Diego were able to get the weaker Fiasco into the ring.
4.“Hot Shot” Jimmy Matua beat Enigma in what turned out to be the best match on the card when he pinned the cruiserweight veteran with a rolling thunder leg drop. Many fans have forgotten that before Matua became the much hated heel he is today, that he was a very accomplished wrestler in the old Pancrase organization and he showed off his skills in this match, go the distance against Enigma.
5.Kronus and Kaldrun fought to a NO CONTEST when the fighting made it’s way to the backstage area and the ref couldn’t restore order. The two continued fighting until security broke things up.
6.Rashid the Butcher and “Demon Seed” Josh Rage beat “The Walking Horror Show” Terror and Kaos in a tag match that had a definite mix of high flying action and hardcore brawling. The end came when Rashid hit his DEADFALL finisher on Kaos through a table bridged between the apron and guardrail.
7.OUTLAW Tag team Champions, Sammael’s Legacy (w/Salem) beat Cotton the Bad Butcher and Machine (w/ Reverend Black) in a non-title match that turned out to be very good. Cotton and Machine had the champs on the ropes several times, but Sammael and Legacy proved just how resilient they were, and came back each time. Legacy ended the match, pinning Machine with the Trend Setter.
8.In a 3-Way Dance to close the show The Redeemer beat Gargola and Tenzan the Devil when he pinned Gargola with THE PACIFIER! Tenzan the Devil was eliminated after a miss Devilsault at the 8 minute mark.
Show #2 (Sunday matinee)
1.Leather Hyde, making his singles debut beat the monstrous Machine (w/Reverend Black) in a hardcore brawl when he pinned Machine with a Muscle Buster out of the corner.
2.Deadbeat (w/Fiasco) beat Black Romeo (w/Junkie XL) when he pinned Black Romeo with PAINKILLER. At certain points this match resembled a tag contest with Fiasco and Junkie XL fighting on the outside. At one point, Deadbeat and Fiasco even hit their tag finisher, ASSISTED SUICIDE on Black Romeo before the ref was able to restore order.
3.Tenzan the Devil and Kaldrun (w/Reverend Black) beat The Suicide Kings when Tenzan pinned Penny Stern with AVALANCHE DRAGON SUPLEX. Tenzan and Kaldrun, despite being an unusual pairing, worked well together and mostly busted up the Kings.
4. The New Blood Assassins beat Keith “Psycho Boy” Hunter and Angus Kaine in an impromptu Falls Count Anywhere Match when Lynch pinned Kaine with the NEWJACK SPECIAL from the balcony in the back of the auditorium!!! Before the match, Hunter and Kaine came out and cut a second promo on Splatter’s Lottery. This brought Lynch and DMF out from the back who challenged to two to a Falls Count Anywhere match. Hunter and Kaine accepted, and it was on. Crazy fighting all over the arena that eventually saw Splatter’s Lottery run out to interfere. But to their surprise, The NBA teamed up with Kaine and Hunter in fighting them back, and Splatter and Vyper were forced to retreat.
5.Gargola beat The Redeemer with VEILED IN BLACK in a match that saw all sorts of interference from Reverend Black and his goons. Gargola was able to fight through all the mayhem and beat The Redeemer with his finisher out of nowhere! After the match, Kronus ran out and began attacking everybody!!! Through the ensuing chaos, Kronus found himself isolated in the ring with Cotton the Butcher and a ref was sent out…
6.Kronus beat Cotton the Bad Butcher (w/Reverend Black) with BURIED IN THE BASEMENT in an impromptu match. Fighting continued to rage on at ringside during the entire bout, and at times it was hard to tell what exactly was going on. After the match security was out to separate the wrestlers.
7. “Hot Shot” Jimmy Matua beat “The Walking Horror Show” Terror (w/Kaos) with THE HOT SHOT DROP when the two mystery assailants that attacked Sean Davis on the previous Highlight Show ran interference. After the match, Davis was out and challenged the mystery men to a tag match on the next Highlight Show. They accepted.
8.Rashid the Butcher and “Demon Seed” Josh Rage upset OUTLAW Tag Team Champions, Sammael’s Legacy (w/Salem) in a non-title match when Rashid pinned Sammael with DEADFALL!! Good action to close the show between two very similar teams. Rashid and Josh Rage immediately demanded a rematch for the titles.
