Promoter note: Been playing this game and this fed since I was 11 years old. I’m A LOT older now and have now officially played over 1900 COTG fight cards! 🤩

SECOND ROUND QUALIFIER

BRACKET 14/20: The Basilisk gets a second chance to qualify for the IMPOSSIBLE RUMBLE!

Demonicus has requested the same after going 0-3 in round 1 and stands in the ring awaiting Pinnacle’s answer.

Pinnacle comes out to a grand entrance. Demonicus immediately drops to his knees and bows his head toward to master.

Pinnacle questions why he should give Demonicus a second chance?

Demonicus just can’t seem to get out of his own way. Whenever it appears like Demonicus is on a roll he finds a way to screw it up.

Pinnacle says Demonicus can’t be trusted, and he cannot be counted on.

Demonicus cowers and begs for forgiveness.

Pinnacle says nothing has changed. Pinnacle has given Demonicus a top spot in the GWF, cool new armor and a new tag team partner — and still Demonicus disappoints.

“Fool me once, shame on you.” says Pinnacle. “Fool me over and again and shame on me.”

Demonicus is distraught. He lives to please GODSEND. He begs some more. He is nearly in tears. It’s an uncomfortable scene.

Pinnacle says Demonicus will have to earn his second chance. It will look like favoritism if Pinnacle puts an 0-3 wrestler into round 2.

“I have a reputation to uphold as a just and fair man.” says Pinnacle.

So Demonicus will have to win a match first.

Demonicus is overjoyed with this news.

“Yes! Anything! Thank you!”

Pinnacle says Forbidden must defeat the Aethran Soldiers tonight in our opener. This match was signed after Forbidden’s confrontation with the Aethran Soldiers on the last fight card.

“It will be done!”

Demonicus bows over and over with exuberant enthusiasm.

* The Aethran Soldier & M-197 (2) defeat Forbidden by disqualification when Demonicus (2) breaks up a pin attempt on Teth (6) using a Rylock Rod. 3.5

The Aethran Soldier had Teth beaten after a big kick to the head off the ropes.

Demonicus is caught red-handed smashing the Soldier over the back w a Rylock Rod and Forbidden is disqualified.

The eyes of Demonicus widen like saucers realizing he just cost Forbidden the match.

Pinnacle is both flabbergasted and embarrassed by the loss.

“You’ve made me look like a fool once again!” he exclaims.

Demonicus continues to beg. Mercy soon turns to distain for Pinnacle who now looks to punish Demonicus for his consistent buffoonery.

“Fine! You want another chance to prove what a boob you are? You’ve got it!”

Demonicus is officially given a second chance to qualify for the IMPOSSIBLE RUMBLE!

“Oh! Thank you my Lord!”

Demonicus soon turns from joyous confused when Pinnacle motions to the back, and out comes the Black Death Chameleon Creature!

The Black Death Chameleon creature stands before Demonicus and begins to violently convulse!

The crowd erupts with wonderment as the Black Death Chameleon Creature transforms into — Bex!

* Bex reverts to his original form moments into the match, defeating Demon Godsend (5) w GROUND ZERO. 2

* The Basilisk (2) defeats Higgor (6) w Behemoth Running Tackle. 4

Higgor is the other “surprise” entrant in the bracket along with Bex, and once again it appears as if he is here only to entertain GODSEND by suffering pain in the ring.

* Demonicus (1) finally earns a W submitting Higgor (3) w Presence of Terror. 2

* Basilisk defeats Bex by disqualification when Bex smashed the Basilisk outside of the ring w his Black Death Staff. 1

* Bex finishes 2-1 pinning Higgor (5) after chair shot to the skull busts the Native wide open. 2

If Demonicus can defeat the Basilisk we are headed to overtime!

* the Basilisk (7) defeats Demonicus (12) by KO after Cry of the Basilisk to sweep the bracket and head to the IMPOSSIBLE RUMBLE. 5

Demonicus fought his heart out, but it wasn’t enough.

The show ends with Demonicus bloody and unconscious under the shattered remains of what used to be the announcers table as we fade to black.

I love Demonicus, and the storytelling with him is great! Even if he can't buy a win, he's over as a top wrestler just from a writing perspective!

These brackets are rolling right along, and each one is as entertaining as the previous ones! Kudos on keeping it fresh!

1900 cards is pretty awesome. Congrats! I lost so many of my results from my childhood, I still remember main things but no specific results.

Love what you’re doing with Demonicus. The way you’re able to turn underperformance and make it a story that you become interested in is top notch.

I agree, 1900 cards is an incredible mark to reach. It wont be all that long til 2000 arrives. Got to be some massive event planned for then!

BRACKET 15/20: Tempest and Titan Power get second chances against two mystery opponents hand-picked by GODSEND.

Forbidden stand in the ring to open the show. They are given no introduction, no music and no pyro.

We are informed that they have asked Pinnacle for a rematch versus the Aethran Soldiers from last week.

The Aethran Soldier & M-197 march to the ring.

* The Aethran Soldiers defeated Forbidden after the Aethran Soldier (2) pins Teth (5) w a top rope moonsault. 4

Demonicus (4) failed to make the second PIN save after being saved himself by Teth earlier in the match when M-197 speared him out of the ring.

Pinnacle is extra angry after the match, not just because Forbidden lost, but because the Aethran Soldiers are beginning to hear some cheers on Myth Worlds!

All of a sudden Hall of Valor heats up! The temperatures rise to well over 120 degrees!

A shining light sneaks through the clouds of Valhala - blinding 51,000 Nords.

Sunman is here!

* No stranger to the sun, Tempest (4) fights back to hit HIGH TIDES and upset Sunman (1) in the Hero of the Heat’s first match back in the GWF in years. 3.5

The Future Shock Chameleon Creature stands before Titan Power. Titan Power braces for a change in character and he gets it when a crowbar forms in the hand of the creature and swings at Titan Power!

The Code Destroyer is here!

* Code Destroyer (2) looks like a ghost of Christmas Future, beating Titan Power (3) to a pulp with EAT CROW in a battle of bitter masked brutes. 3.5

* Titan Power (2) takes out Sunman (3) w HANGING JUDGE. 3

* Code Destroyer (1) is disqualified against Sunman (2) after EAT CROW. 2

The Code Destroyer does not stop his attack after the bell and hits Sunman two more times w EAT CROW, sending Sunman back to New Earth with a 6 card injury.

* Titan Power finishers a strong 2-1 beating Tempest (3) after a smash into the ring post. 1.5

With a W next, Code Destroyer can win the bracket via H2H tie-breaker win vs Titan Power. A loss and Titan Power takes it.

* Code Destroyer (1) makes short work of Tempest w BREAK THE CODE to win the bracket and head to the IMPOSSIBLE RUMBLE! 1.5

It took a minute but we have our first big surprise entrant in the rumble - the Code Destroyer!

The Black Death Chameleon Creature comes out to join the Code Destroyer in the ring to celebrate.

The voice of GODSEND travels through the Black Death Chameleon Creature who congratulates the Code Destroyer and officially welcomes him to stay on Myth Worlds indefinitely as a reward.

Code Destroyer cracks Tempest over the back of the head w his crowbar one more time and growls into the camera as we fade to black.

BRACKET 16/20: GWF INTERPLANETARY CHAMPION Anubis and Teth go up against two mystery opponents.

The show opens with the Aethran Soldier in the ring.

Pinnacle has a big problem on his hands as his plan to pit Forbidden against the Aethran Soldiers in an effort to intimidate GWF GALACTIC CHAMPION Siege has completely backfired - instead the Aethran Soldiers are hearing cheers on Myth Worlds.

The popularity of the Aethran Soldiers has grown so much over the past few weeks that hundreds of thousands of fans on Myth Worlds have started a petition demanding the Aethran Soldier get a chance to qualify for the IMPOSSIBLE RUMBLE!

“Absolutely not. No! Inconceivable!” says Pinnacle.

In one last effort to crush the rise in popularity of this low-level soldier, Pinnacle has booked Demonicus vs the Aethran Soldier in a COSMIC CAGE MATCH tonight!

The bracket opens with Teth coming out first. He looks confident. His confidence turns to confusion when the Future Shock Chameleon Creature appears!

Pinnacle has his secrets — but last time we saw the FS CC he was transformed into the Code Destroyer and qualifying for the rumble! But here he is again - and after a few short moments the FS CC transforms yet again into —-

Euritar!

* Euritar defeats Teth (6) w HERO’S LAW. Teth was never in this match, clearly caught way off guard by Pinnacle’s swerve. 3

The Black Death Chameleon Creature runs to the ring and transforms into Ghenna for our next match!

* GWF INTERPLANETARY CHAMPION Anubis (2) is not phased by Pinnacle’s mysterious magic, using his own Premonition powers to thwart Ghenna (2.5) w TRIAL OF THE HEART. 1.5

* Ghenna (1) pins Teth (3) w EVOLUTION. 2

* Anubis pins Euritar (2) w TRIAL OF THE HEART to go up 2-0. 1.5

* Ghenna pins Euritar (3) w Brain Basher. 2

* Anubis (1) sweeps the bracket pinning Teth (5) w TRIAL OF THE HEART.

The GWF INTERPLANETARY CHAMPION Anubis steamrolls the competition and is headed for the IMPOSSIBLE RUMBLE!

After the match Euritar comes rushing back to the ring and transforms into the Code Destroyer!

The Code Destroyer sneaks up from behind Anubis and smacks him in the knee w his crowbar!

Code Destroyer takes the mic and says Anubis can forget about winning the rumble, because Code Destroyer will be there to throw 18 other men over the top rope before handing Pinnacle the W!

MAIN EVENT

* Aethran Soldier (3) defeats Demonicus (6) in a COSMIC CAGE MATCH w a backdrop driver. 3.5

Teth tried handing Demonicus a weapon through the cage during the match but was leveled by M-197.

The aftermath is wild in so many ways. The Olympus crowd is showering the Aethran Soldier with a celebratory warrior song and cheers as Forbidden both lay defeated.

The fans on Myth Worlds love this recent surprise run of success the Aethran Soldier has had and shower him with cheers!

Pinnacle is show in his luxury box, incensed at the attention the Aethran Soldier is receiving. Pinnacle is jealous of the attention being taken from him by this lowly undercard wrestler.

Conversely, GWF GALACTIC CHAMPION Siege is shown in his luxury box and he could not be happier!

“Next week, bring forth this Aethran Soldier where I can meet him personally in the ring!” says the champ.

“He has shown his worth and will receive my respect and support face to face in the ring with an Aethran Victory Ceremony!”

Bracket 17/20: Freedom Fighter and Lokki get the last two spots in round 2 for a chance to head to the rumble here tonight against the unpredictable Chameleon Creatures!

Freedom Fighter stands across the ring from the Future Shock Chameleon creature prepared for anything.

FF dares Pinnacle to bring on the Code Destroyer or anyone else he can conjure up!

The FS CC strikes an archer’s pose and transforms into Double Cross!

Double Cross smirks at Freedom Fighter and all Freedom Fighter sees is Climber!

Freedom Fighter turns red seeing another FDF turn coat!

* Freedom Fighter (3) pins Double Cross (5) w PEACEMAKER SLINGSHOT. 4

Lokki is in the ring about to wrestle the Black Death Chameleon Creature. Lokki is fascinated with the magic of the creatures.

He stands in awe as the BD CC grows fangs!

On Myth Worlds where myths are reality - vampires are myths. And now before the fans stands a real-life vampire -

Coven Black is here!

Hard to believe but Coven Black gets a hero’s pop destroying Lokki (7) w BITE OF THE VAMPIRE! 3.5

The fans on Myth Worlds react to Coven Black like a rock star - vastly different than how he is received in Dimension K.

* Double Cross runs through Lokki (6) w Flying Projectile. 3

* The transformed Chameleon Creatures do battle once again when Coven Black (3) goes up 2-0 defeating Double Cross (4) w BITE OF THE VAMPIRE. 3.5

By all accounts these wrestlers are not clones when they appear - they are the real deal.

Scientists theorize that the Chameleon Creatures are trading places in the universe with these wrestlers when transformed. Meaning that the Chameleon Creatures are transported to wherever GODSEND currently has the Future Shock and Black Death wrestlers existing while they exist here on Myth Worlds.

The entire situation with the creatures is fascinating!

* Lokiki (2) breaks the cardinal rule by having Vale attempt outside interference in a last ditch effort to get a W - but Freedom Fighter fights Vale off and pins Lokki w PEACEMAKER SLINGSHOT. 1.5

It all comes down to Coven Black versus Freedom Fighter!

* Coven Black (1) pins Freedom Fighter (2) after outside interference from the Code Destroyer! 2

Outside interference is strictly prohibited in these qualifiers, but the Code Destroyer has never been the type to follow the rules.

Code Destroyer breaks up a pin after INDEPENDENCE DAY and smacks Freedom Fighter w his crowbar leading to the Coven victory and a spot in the IMPOSSIBLE RUMBLE.

AETHRAN VICTORY CELEBRATION

GWF GALACTIC CHAMPION Siege marches to the ring accompanied by Fist, M-197, Storm, Bulldoze, A-14 and three other nondescript soldiers.

Siege calls upon the Aethran Soldier to meet him in the ring.

The Aethran Soldier comes to the ring to a roaring ovation and stands face to face with Siege when they are interrupted by Pinnacle & Forbidden.

Pinnacle says he is here with news more important than whatever boring, self-serving thing Siege had planned.

Pinnacle says he is here to choose the 3 final wrestlers to earn LAST CHANCE QUALIFIERS for the IMPOSSIBLE RUMBLE!

Pinnacle wastes no time announcing that both Demonicus & Teth will receive two of the three opportunities.

“I’m sick of their begging.” he says. “I really just want them both to shut up and win.” Pinnacle admits

It is unclear if Pinnacle really wants Forbidden in the Rumble to watch his back, or if at this point he is simply punishing them for his own twisted amusement. Regardless, Forbidden will receive a third and final chance to qualify.

By now the crowd is interrupting Pinnacle and drowning him out cheering for the Aethran Soldier.

“Let him fight!”

“Let him fight!”

The fans on Myth Worlds want the Aethran Soldier to receive the third and final qualifying spot!

This annoys Pinnacle but this annoys GWF GALACTIC CHAMPION Siege even more.

The very idea of a lowly Aethran Soldier receiving an opportunity at him and the GWF title is as offensive as it gets!

“Enough!” says Siege.

“This has gone too far!”

Siege says the Aethran Soldier is ascending the ladder on the Gladiator team as planned - but a few wins over shitty ass Demonicus is nothing to get carried away with.

“We’re here to celebrate an ascending soldier - not crown the next challenger to me and my championship!”

Pinnacle can’t believe it. Him and Siege agree on something!

Pinnacle extends his fist high in the air prepared to give a final answer with a thumbs up or a thumbs down to the fans request.

The fans cheer even louder begging for a thumbs up!

Siege grits his tweet in anger waiting impatiently for a definitive thumbs down!

Pinnacle has a tough decision to make when he is interrupted by commotion on the big screen!

The screen glitches with static then becomes a clear. The video is from inside Teth’s space ship!

Teth’s eyes get wide as saucers with confusion.

Pinnacle turns to Teth.

“What the hell is this?”

Teth shrugs his shoulders in bewilderment.

The video shows Teth guiding his ship toward the desolate planet he was sent to drop Havoc off at.

In the background, Havoc can be seen in the ship’s holding cell.

The video shows Teth communicating with Pinnacle who orders Teth to fly directly to the desolate planet without any hesitation.

“Yes, yes, of course.” Teth is seen replying back.

Teth ends his communication with Pinnacle then immediately changes course for a quick pit stop on a seedy party planet near the outskirts of Myth Worlds called Sin Island.

Teth lands his ship, grabs a wad of money and exits for the Island.

He kicks the bars of Havoc’s cell on the way out and spits on him.

The video fast forwards several hours showing sunlight turn to nighttime, but Teth has still not returned to his ship.

The shadow of a large figure can be seen entering the ship. The figure is way too big to be Teth.

The giant figure can be seen searching the ship when he finds a key.

The figure unlocks Havoc’s cell and helps him escape!

At this point Pinnacle grabs Teth by the collar in the ring and shakes him violently!

“What the hell is going on! You told me you dropped Havoc off on the desolate planet! Explain yourself!”

“I did! I did!” Teth shrieks.

“Well then what am I looking at!?”

The video continues.

It fast forwards again another hour when the giant mystery shadow man returns to the ship with a body over his shoulder. He tosses the body into the ship’s cell and locks it back up.

The giant shadow exits the ship as quietly as he entered with no evidence him being there.

The video fast forward a bit more showing the early morning sun rising.

Finally, Teth returns to his ship. He is still drunk from a long night of parting and stumbles onto his ship where he crashes in his pilots chair and passes out.

The video fast forwards several more hours showing Teth sleeping the day away. As day turns to night again, Teth regains his senses.

He sets course for the desolate planet as originally planned.

When Teth finally lands on the desolate planet he grabs who he thinks is Havoc out of the cell and tosses them into the woods. Teth returns to his ship and sets course to return to the Arc of Eternity.

The video ends.

Pinnacle demands to know what is going on!

Teth is begging for understanding but Pinnacle will hear nothing of it!

Demonicus is snickering, enjoying seeing Teth receive the wrath of Pinnacle for a change.

GWF GALACTIC CHAMPION Siege has had enough!

“I’ve got a lot of questions!” says Siege.

“Where is Havoc!?”

“What did you do with him!”

“Who was that giant shadow figure?!”

Suddenly, the Aethran Soldier makes his big move.

After weeks of deceiving Siege, the other Gladiators, Pinnacle, Forbidden and everybody else on Myth Worlds, the Aethran Soldier removes his helmet to reveal himself as —-

HAVOC!

The crowd erupts with a deafening roar of approval!

“Your goons couldn’t take out your trash let alone get rid of me!” Havoc says to Pinnacle!

Siege is just as shocked as Pinnacle! They argue face to face when Havoc reminds Pinnacle that he has a big decision to make!

The fans want Havoc to get the third and final opportunity to qualify for the rumble!

Pinnacle is in a real tough spot - give a thumbs down and face certain backlash from his millions of fans on Myth Worlds - or give a thumbs up and threaten his own chances of winning the rumble by allowing Havoc the chance at entering.

“This is lunacy!” screams Siege.

“We’re going to end this charade right now by kicking your ass!”

Havoc says not so fast my friend. Siege asked about who the giant shadow figure was and Havoc is here to tell him!

At this point M-197 steps forward to join Havoc at his side.

M-197 removes his helmet to reveal himself as…

…

…

…

PARALYZE!

Havoc & Paralyze are reunited on Myth Worlds!

Paralyze sums up our mystery by explaining how he was vacationing from Kronos on Sin Island when he overheard Teth bragging to women in the bar about his plans to leave Havoc on the desolate planet.

“Right time, right place I guess.” says Paralyze.

So Paralyze explored the area, found Teth’s ship, found Havoc and helped him escape.

The mystery body Paralyze replaced Havoc with?

“A drunk from Proxima Centauri who tried cheating me in a game of cards.” explains Paralyze.

“He can think about what he did on the desolate planet where scum belong!”

Paralyze further explains how he followed Teth back to Myth Worlds on his own ship, and how he and Havoc infiltrated the Gladiator soldiers.

“I took one of them out with a choke hold when we landed. He was a littler guy so Havoc had to wear his gear. Once Havoc had secretly assimilated with the Aethran Soldier barracks, finding gear to fit me was easy, and I went under the guise of soldier M-197. The rest is history.”

Siege kicks the bottom ropes in embarrassment and frustration!

He dresses down Fist, Storm, Bulldoze and the remaining Aethran Soldiers!

“Nobody noticed this? I can’t do everything! I’m the champ! I’m basically the Aethran Minister of War! I count on you guys to keep me informed on all the other stuff!”

The other Gladiators all point the finger at each other like children busted by their parents.

Crowd chants for Havoc drown Siege out!

With Paralyze present, Siege’s plans to physically eliminate Havoc on the spot are drastically changed!

The fans demand an answer from Pinnacle! They want Havoc to get his shot and they want it now!

“Let him fight!”

“Let him fight!”

The fans want to see a thumbs up from Pinnacle!

Siege barks at Pinnacle!

“Don’t you dare do it!”

Siege wants to see a thumbs down from Pinnacle and Pinnacle wants to give it!

But pressure from the fans is too much!

Sweat pours down the face of Teth in anticipation

Demonicus bites his long fingernails with uncontrollable nervousness.

The crowd is chanting for Havoc leaving pinnacle no choice but to give the GFansITG what they want —-

THUMBS UP!

The crowd explodes!

Siege pounds his fists on the top rope and angrily orders the Gladiators out of the ring.

Pinnacle fakes a smile to the crowd and motions for them to quiet down as we fade to black.
