2122 year end wrap up....
The last card posted in the GFITG was card #1192, opening night of 64, the largest tournament ever in GFITG history! Sly Drury ended that show with his hands raised in the air...
here are the events that followed, leading up to the 2123 ANDROMEDA PERENNIAL!
...[/i]
MONOLITH walked away from night two as the winner with a FINALS victory over Bloodline after storming over top GWFZ talents Strong, Umagapotamus and Overtime...other notable matches this night included OT beating Swarm (who then left the arena without a word to She Devil or his team), Bloodline over Encubus in their first match vs. each other in over two years, Overtime beating Pride and Pride beating his arch rival, American Guy...
Endgame and Morbid sent the fans home happy with a win over Sly Drury and Tournament Master as Morbid forced Drury to tap to MORBIDLY CRUEL!
Bracket three of the 64 tournament was won by a GWFZ star and high flying wrestler/rapper, Grillz! After upsetting Rage in round one the blingin' bad boy never looked back! WHAT???'ing his way to the 64 FINALS over his own tag partner, Darth Brooks, Havoc, then Anivar in the finals!
Other notables from card # 1194 included Anivar beating his friend and ally Tauran with ENFORCER SPEAKS, Anivar first being seen talking to Intergalactic Indy fighters Chris Hero, Delirious and Arik Cannon (who are now being suspected by Iron Hand to be Anivar's SLEEPER CELL) Tauran beating Saint Bernard, and Havoc being officially named "Less of a vagina than Hegemony" after his Vagina Match win over his equally creepy and lonely dork buddy...
speaking of dorks, this was also the card where Darth Vagina (lots of vagina's out there fans) and Aqua Man quit their positions as GWF bathroom attendants following a nasty and dangerous act of being asked to take their own heads from their own assess...unable to pull off such a task the two did what they do best and gave up. The good news is since they left, the bathrooms have never smelled better!
Card # 1195 was held from the Predator Pyramids on Earth! This marked the debut of the long awaited TORN! Losing his first match by DQ. following TRAUMATIZED, his mother Lorelei announced her official retirement from the fed, only going as far to say "I just can't do this anymore." Her long time companion Valour being the one to take Torn's TRAUMATIZED may have been the straw that broke the camel's back... she has not been heard from since.
The story of the night however went to Malkuth. Generally viewed as a fighter with little character, the long time slave of Epoch really spoke up for the first time since breaking away from being a slave following a round one victory over Plethador...
Cutting a very serious and candid interview with Dragon Master and Vanity, Malkuth speaks for the first time about the truth behind the mystery of Slave Beast...
"I had a daughter. Her name was Anna...after Epoch invaded our region of Andromeda several years ago, she disappeared. Epoch always claimed he knew her whereabouts and if I didn't go along with him, I'd never see her again...
When Epoch disappeared so did she. He was my last hope in finding her. With him gone it freed me - but took from me what means the most to me, the truth of where my daughter is. I may now never know...but from this point on, every one of my matches is dedicated to her."
Malkuth was applauded as he heads to the back to continue the tournament...
Whether finally opening up to the fans did it or he was simply destined to win, Malkuth moves on to the 64 FINALS beating The Bomb, rounding out the final 4...
Sly Drury, MONOLITH, Grillz and Malkuth...
Card # 1196 featured the
64 TOURNAMENT FINALS! To no ones surprise, MONOLITH emerged victorious, beating Sly Drury with END OF ALL THINGS then rising GWFZ star Grillz in the FINALS with an Andromeda Drop...
after the victory MONOLITH shocks the galaxy by leaving The Dark Menace and joining forces with IRON HAND on MARTIAL LAW! A livid Dark Menace says "I don't get that!"
Soon thereafter MONOLITH is handed the
GWF GALAXIAN TITLE for the second time in his career in the GFITG, this time by Iron Hand!
Other notables on this show...Torn gets his first win back from cloning, beating Saint Bernard with CROSSFIRE CLONE! Pride becoming the no. 1 contender to the GWFZ Title beating Strong,
GWFZ CHAMPION Overtime retaining the title over Narcotik, and the team of
ANDROMEDA PERENNIAL opponents Disaster and Endgame beating Tournament Master and Morbid when Morbid turns on TM and leaves him down after a knee to the crotch, then takes out both Endgame and Disaster with steel chairs for the DQ! Morbid takes off through the crowd!
The Last big fucking card of the year was just that as the first ever KRONOS card was held in the GFITG! HISTORIC!!!!
THE LAST BIG FUCKING CARD OF THE YEAR featured three GWF LEGENDS as Chaos (who came out first to a deafening pop) takes out Strong with BOW OF DEFEAT, Star Warrior beats Ensor with COSMIC BIG BANG and Thantos blows out Harm's knee and wins with MASTERLOCK!
It was as historic and memorable as any event ever in the history of the fed!
Saint Bernard scores a huge win over Xiongamo capturing the
GWFZ O ZONE CHAMPIONSHIP after CLOTHESLINE FROM DOGGY HEAVEN and Overtime retains his
GWFZ CHAMPIONSHIP over former tag team partner Pride!
GWF TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS Rage and Paralyze took a surprising count out loss to The Headliners after Paralyze could not recover from a Guitar shot to the head from Darth Brooks...
MONOLITH closed his year out with a win over his rival Wolf...Endgame sent Tournament Master packing for aCe after ULTIMA LEAP and Disaster defended his I-P Title for one last time (as he was stripped of the belt later that night by Iron Hand) beating Morbid with RAMPAGE...
The Main Event was one that all GBITG and KRONOS fans will never forget as Torn faced his demons in the ring, once again, vs. Blazing Skull!
With hopes of finally putting his nightmares behind him, Torn proved to be unprepared to face his demons so early into his return to the ring as Blazing Skull leaves the Crossfire Clone lying in the ring following DEATH BY FIRE!
While it will go down in history as a DQ. win for Torn, it was possibly the biggest L of his early life. Though not physically injured let alone killed from the blast, Torn left the ring in a craze, scaring even his closes allies and supporters with erratic behavior...it was later reported a full three days passed before Torn spoke to anyone or returned to the GWFZ gym...but he did return...
coming next...
