Ace of Diamonds training in the Kingdom Forest, practicing stunning defensive techniques by catching arrows with his hands shot at him from every direction by expert archers…

Exo-Knight, looking intimidating with
a massive boa constrictor slithering around his neck and shoulders, reciting dark poetry about betrayal and revenge…

And the Mad Bishop, his body covered in both fresh and old burns, playing with fire alone in his tower at the College of Kronos, cackling at the flames he creates..

Tonight, they debut.

16 FIGHTER ROYAL GAUNTLET With The Winner Receiving A Title Shot At The COTG CROWN OF KRONOS Against King Pegasus.

King Pegasus appears to a roaring ovation. He is accompanied by the Defenders of the Realm. They get an equally loud, yet very mixed reaction from the crowd, still unsure of what to think of our three newcomers.

Pegasus and the Defenders of the Realm take their seats high above the ring in a luxury box made for a king where they plan to oversee all of tonight’s proceedings.

ROYAL GAUNTLET MATCH
(Entrants are determined randomly)

The 1st entry in the Royal Gauntlet is revealed to be…

Mentor with Mentress!

The crowd gasps when his randomized opponent at no. 2 is revealed to be…Preceptor!

It’s teacher versus student to open the Royal Gauntlet!

* Mentor (4) is one move ahead of Preceptor (2) beating his pupil w MENTOR ANKLE LOCK to the roar of the crowd in an exceptionally technical match. *** 1/2

The 3rd entrant in the Royal Gauntlet is Ensor!

* Things get nasty outside of the ring when Mentor & Ensor engage in an uncharacteristic brawl outside of the ring! The brawl escalates and the referee is forced to call for a rare Double Disqualification!

Additional referees get involved, pulling Mentor & Ensor apart. When they stop seeing red, they are both upset to find out that they are out of the Gauntlet.

When the commotion calms down, our next two entrants in the Royal Gauntlet are announced…

No. 4 Avalanche followed by no. 5 Jupiter!

* Jupiter (2) wins the battle of powerhouses pinning Avalanche (1) w CHAMPION SUPER DROP. **

Entry 6 is another giant…Rhea!

Entry no. 7 is…COTG LIGHT SPEED CHAMPION - Prodigy!

* Totalis is quickly disqualified getting caught hitting Prodigy w TITLE QUEST. *

Entry 9 is…Omega! The crowd explodes with cheers as Omega of Cetus marches to the ring!

* Omega (2) fights back to pin Prodigy (1) w TOMAHAWK THRUST. ***

Omega stands tall as entry 10 heads to the ring…Paganax!

* Omega (1) takes down Paganax (2) w TOMAHAWK THRUST for two wins in a row. **

Entry 11 is…Mensar w/Tyranny! Blacklist marches to the ring!

* Omega knocks out Mensar w TOMAHAWK THRUST! *

After the match, Omega pulls Tyranny into the ring and lays him out w TOMAHAWK THRUST as well!

The crowd goes wild as Hades heads to the ring. Omega breaks out into a war dance. He’s ready to fight!

* Hades stuns Omega (2) w an Avalanche Power Bomb! **

After the match, Omega is attacked by Meteor Storm! Hades’ cronies put the boots to Omega, adding insult to injury!

Entry 13 is…Sectarian the Barbarian!

* Sectarian (11) refuses to be pinned by Hades until a final KING OF HADES knocks him out cold. **** 1/2

Only four entries left! Entry 14 is…Density!

* Hades (3) avoids a classic Density (1) upset w KING OF HADES. *** 1/2

Entry 15 is…Cosmos! The former King of Kronos heads to the ring for his first ever match against Hades!

* Cosmos (1) forces Hades (1) to submit to MASTERLOCK. ***

Entry 16 is…Olympia!

* Cosmos submits Olympia (3) w MASTERLOCK for back-to-back wind. **

The final entry stands stop the ramp…Chaos Supreme!

It all comes down to Cosmos vs Chaos Supreme with King Pegasus & the Defenders of the Realm watching from above!

* A big referee bump leads to a crazy ending when Chaos Supreme (5) locks in BOW OF DEFEAT and refuses to let go until Cosmos (6) passes out! *****

* Mentor (1) submits Ensor w the MENTOR ANKLE LOCK. **

* Possessed By Fire (Burning Man & Nosfera) w Invincible Krakan defeat Payback Time w Lord Nexus when Burning Man chokes out Payback (4) w EXHAUSTION (+3). ***

- Lord Nexus (looking especially youthful — possibly due to the effects of living on Kronos now for over a year) made a special appearance alongside of the Hardcore Titans to offer-set his rival, Krakan, but it was not enough.

- Possessed By Fire gets another W and are quickly making a name for themselves on Kronos.

* COTG LIGHT SPEED CHAMPION Prodigy retains his title pinning Mr. Everything (3) w SUPERIORITY COMPLEX. **

* Hades retains the COTG OPEN THE CROSSROADS TITLE beating Paganax (2) w KING OF HADES. **

- After the match, Hades flaunts the powers of the OTC TITLE by opening a portal to Primus, throws Paganax into the portal and exiled him from Kronos!

* Shayne is disqualified against GWF GALACTIC CHAMPION Apex (1) for Frontier Justice. *

* Cosmos (1) submits Ace of Diamonds (2) in his debut match w MASTERLOCK. ***
