GFITG presents...
FUTURE SHOCK 2131 ROSTER -
FUTURE SHOCK - MAGNUS THE MAGNANIMOUS - Leader and manager CHAOS SUPREME DARKEST JUSTICE THANTOS - Gamesmasters STAR WARRIOR - Gamesmasters THE PRIME COLONIZER (GWF Galaxian Champion) LOPE BALAAL SWARM - Animen Revenge PANTHER WARRIOR - Animan Revenge PLETHADOR MINISTER OF WAR - Gladiators MAYHEM UNLEASHED - Gladiators CODE DESTROYER - The Cloak SPLATTER - The Cloak ADAM TRAITOR - Human Racists THARKAS - Human Racists OMEN - NOSFERA - Outcasts TRICKS - Outcasts CATFIGHT FHANNA WIGGY
Team Overview: TONS of shake-ups with Future Shock after only 1 year! Gone are the Perfect Specimen and Crossfire, both fired at the conclusion of 2130 by Colby for what he considered major distractions (both dealing with death). They are replaced with the arrival of three new wrestlers from Colby's universe - Dark Justice, Mayhem Unleashed and Catfight.
In this universe Chaos vs. Justice is one of the most celebrated feuds in GFITG lore. But in Colby's universe, Chaos Supreme and Darkest Justice are allies, villainous partners in crime, similar to how Chaos was with Matador in this universe. Occasionally, Chaos Supreme and Dark Justice form a super team called Supreme Justice.
Joining Chaos and Dark Justice are two new members to Future Shock, Thantos and Star Warrior. Dark Justice and Magnus Colby both love the idea of the Gamesmasters getting into the head of Star Slayer, and running interference for him in his feud with the man also once known as Star Warrior. Chaos can't stand either imposter, so Colby makes sure that Dark Justice personally lead them, keeping them out of the big man's way.
Minister of War is joined in his war vs. the Overmaster by Mayhew Unleashed. Mayhem becomes Vengeance's new right hand man with the unceremonious departure of Havoc. Rumors say that Vengeance has rewarded Havoc and secretly smuggled the Gladiator traitor back to the other parallel universe, where Havoc will live out his life in a big home, with an endless bank account and plenty of women slaves, 100% safe on Aethra away from those in this universe who would prefer to see him dead.
If you can't beat them, join them! Keep your friends close, and your enemies closer. Both cliches perfectly explain the arrival of Omen, Nosfera and Tricks to the Future Shock team in 2131! For all of 2130, Nosfera and Tricks terrorized Colby, and demolished everyone he threw at them! Adam Traitor and Tharkas, the Cloke, even Ghena and Lope, all unsuccessful vs. the incredibly creepy team of the Evil Clown and Spring Heeled Jack!
So Colby did the only thing left he could do to save his own tail, he threw INSANE amounts of money at his enemies! Omen, Tricks and Nosfera might be crazy, but they aren't stupid! They've taken the money, called a truce with Colby and will now be let loose on every enemy of Future shock!
Finally, in the greatest coup of all, Mandrill has brought the entire Animan team to Future Shock! The new undisputed leader of the Animan is flanked by an angry group of Animen, who have officially declared war on the Gladiators! Prime Colonizer: "For years, the Animen cowardly avoided war with our natural enemies, the Gladiators, but no more! The time is now! I will lead us to victory, and erase the story of the Aethrans forever from the history books of this universe!"
Mandrill is joined by Lope, Swarm, Balaal, Plethador, and a returning Panther Warrior. Panther Warrior is not happy, but is trying to make the best of a bad situation. His mortal enemy, Tricks, is on the same team with him, and he is taking orders from Mandrill. How long will it last?
As of press time, Mandrill has officially ordered Wolf to show his face, bow to Mandrill, and accept him as his Animan leader. Wolf has yet to respond.
THE GLADIATORS OF AETHRA - AETHRAN OVERMASTER TURMOIL PROBATION FIST
Team Overview: Overmaster has ushered in a new Gladiator era with the arrival of Probation and Fist. Gone is Rush, who has retired to Aethra with the highest of honors after claiming the GWF Tag Team Titles in his final GWF match. Like Havoc on an Aethra in a parallel universe, Rush will live out his life on Aethra in this universe, rich as a king, flanked by everything a Gladiator legend could ever desire.
Turmoil has been rewarded with a huge promotion to singles competition, and his first order of business is to crush the angered spirit of Spec. Spec wants Aethran blood, and Turmoil plans to give it to him!
Lastly, Paralyze survived his broken neck at the hands of Overmaster, but will never walk again. He will live out his life alone, in solitude in an Aethran death camp until the day he dies there.
FEDERATION DEFENSE FIGHTERS - STAR SLAYER SHAYNE HELSIN - Demon Hunters CROSSFIRE - Demon Hunters SCORN NOVA
Team Overview: The FDF has a crazy new look in 2131! First, Shayne won the FDF leader spot at the close of 2130 by defeating Star Warrior, then kicking both Warrior and Paganax off the team! But now Star Slayer is here and HE says HE is the leader of the FDF! Will Shayne concede, or will be have a big fight on our hands, fans?
DARK MENACE FORCES - THE DARK MENACE - Manager MONOLITH WOLF
Team Overview: The Dark Menace makes his big power play in 2131! For years, the Dark Menace has performed as a nefarious manager in front of the fans of the GWF, but the truth is, he pulls a lot of the strings behind the scenes too! Everyone knew Wolf had been signed to return to the GWF in 2131, but no one knew how, or who made it happen. Now we know, it was the Dark Menace!
"No one has the connections I do!" says Menace. "Nobody else could ever put MONOLITH and Wolf on the same team, but I've done it! Magnus Colby needs an army in front of him, but I only need two fighters to rule the GWF!" The Dark Menace will be sending Wolf and MONOLITH after everyone in 2131!
DOOM - EYDILON PSI SUR - The Two GHENA - The Two ULTRAMANTIS BLACK ORACLE
Team Overview: Harbinger evolves into Eydilon, and the GWF is met with DOOM! Tons of Black Death tie ins on Doom. Remember, it was Psi who cracked the code of Harbinger upon his debut, figuring out how to beat him, and weaken the BD team. So it's no wonder that Eydilon would now want Psi on his team. It's a partnership that works for both fighters.
Sur and Ghena find aid in an old ally by joining Doom, leaving Bex to fend for himself. Ultramantis Black finds of new home after being thrown off the Animan team by their new leader, Mandrill. Will Eydilon go looking for another old friend in Balaal? And if he does, will we have a huge Doom vs. Animan war on our hands?
FIGHTING TITANS - LORD NEXUS - Manager THE PERFECT SPECIMEN (IP Champion) OVERTIME KENJI GIANT AZUMA TAICHI
Team Overview: The big news is the arrival of Spec. It's been discovered that Spec does not exist in this universe, because his parents were killled by Aethrans. Now the Titans face an emotional 2131 war vs the Gladiators.
FIGHTERS GOING SOLO IN 2131 - BEX CLINCH - TUF's SHOOT - TUF's SHE DEVIL - Valet to TUF's PAGANAX
Overview: Bex is the hottest free agent in the GWF after defeating Chaos Supreme at IT 11. But so far, he has turned down every offer made to him, including one from Colby, and another from Eydilon. Will teams continue to patiently pursue Bex, or is he just making a list of enemies he can't possibly handle alone?
Paganax is completely at a loss in the GWF. He fits in with no one, and continues to struggle to find consistent success in the ring. So, for the first time since his arrival here, he is not joining a team, and instead, tackling 2131 alone. It's rock bottom for Paganax, with nowhere to go but up. Will this be his last year in the GWF, or exactly what the Heathen Chief needs to finally find his place in this world?
GONE FROM THE GWF - Paralyze Rush Endgame Payback Cage Death Betrayer Death Masque Betrayer Hector (RIP) Mantis Havoc Mistress of Darkness (healed, living back home, away from the ring as Helsin's wife) Coven Black (could return if and when BD spells wear off) Bishop Hell (could return once BD spells wear off)

Fight Card 1417/2131 - THE FIRST CARD OF 2131!
DEIMOS PERENNIAL 2131 Live from the Deimos Intergalactic Arena
* Probation & Fist vs. Titan Samurai - The crowd comes unglued, realizing the historic importance of the moment as new Gladiators, Probation and Fist, walk to the ring for the first time in their careers. The Probation (4 tokens) and Fist (2 tokens) team look AWESOME in their debut, soundly defeating Titan Samurai with AETHRAN HONOR on Kenji (5 tokens). Azuma (8 tokens) was thrown around by Probation all match, something the big Titan is not used to. - Winners: Probation and Fist
*Shayne vs. Paganax - Former tag team partners meet. Shayne and Paganax spent most of 2130 as a main event tag team before failing to grab the tag belts at the eleventh hour, losing to Rush & Turmoil in their biggest match of the year. Soon after, Shayne defeated Star Warrior for FDF leader rights, and kicked both SW and Paganax off the team. Alone and without allies for the first time in his career, Paganax is looking for revenge. Revenge will have to wait for another day, Shayne (3 tokens) uses SHOWDOWN to pin Paganax (5 tokens). After the match, Nitro asks Shayne if he is the leader of the FDF, or if Star Slayer is? Shayne ignores Nitro and doesn't answer the question. - Winner: Shayne.
* The Demon Hunters (Helsin & Crossfire) vs. The Elite (Eydilon & Psi) - In another battle of former tag team partners, Helsin goes at it with Psi! The Demon Hunters have the Elite reeling when a motionless and emotionless Oracle springs to life, breaking up a pin on Eydilon by smashing Helsin across the head with his crystal ball, and knocking Helsin out cold! - Winners: Demon Hunters by Automatic DQ for Oracle outside interference.
* Mayhem Unleashed vs. Overtime - Mayhem Unleashed makes a successful debut in this universe, showing he is just as hardcore as ever, pinning OT after a deadly smash with his signature chain. Winner - Mayhem Unleashed.
* Wolf vs. Lope - In their historic first ever battle, and Wolf's celebrated return to the GWF, Wolf (5 tokens) comes out on top, pinning Lope (5 tokens) with END OF THE HUNT! Winner - Wolf.
* Star Slayer vs. Dark Justice - In another historic first ever battle (in this universe at least), Star Slayer is quickly disqualified after APOCALYPSE +4, when the ref sees Star Slayer DDT Darkest Justice on Slayer's rifle! Star Slayer treats this like a W, and celebrates while Dark Justice wipes blood from his brow and exits up the ramp. Winner - Darkest Justice by DQ
* Sur vs. Bex - The former allies go at it once again, and once again, Bex comes out on top vs. Sur! Bex wins with MORTAL MUTILATION, but is attacked and pounded on by Ghena after the match! Sur and Ghena leave Bex laying in a pool of blood. - Winner Bex.
* GWF INTERPLANETARY TITLE MATCH, The Perfect Specimen (c) w Lord Nexus vs. Turmoil - Spec looks like man possessed, coming to the ring in a T-shirt with a picture of his parents on it. Spec goes mad, hitting Turmoil with all of his big moves before finishing the Aethran with PINNACLE OF SUCCESS. Lord Nexus has to pull Spec off of Turmoil after the match, barely avoiding a DQ and reversed decision! - Winner, and still GWF IP Champion, The Perfect Specimen.
* MAIN EVENT, FATAL FOUR WAY FOR THE GWF GALACTIC TITLE, Mandrill (c) vs. MONOLITH vs. Aethran Overmaster vs. Chaos Supreme. The Galactic Belt has been a hot potato, passed between these 4 behemoths since Event Horizon. First, Overmaster took the belt from Chaos at EH, after a year long stranglehold on the strap. Then in bracket 4 of IT 11, MONOLITH took the title from Overmaster, then Mandrill took the title from MONOLITH. Mandrill comes into this match as champ after winning Impossible Tournament.
Chaos Supreme (5 tokens) is the first fighter eliminated, falling for the first time ever to MONOLITH via CATASTROPHE! Aethran Overmaster takes out Prime Colonizer with bloody ballistic headbutts, assuring a new champion! It comes down to Overmaster vs. MONOLITH! Aethran Overmaster whips MONOLITH into the ropes and drops him with a devastating REIGN OF THE OVERMASTER Decapitator! Overmaster covers MONOLITH for the 1-2-3! - Winner and now 7 time GWF GALACTIC CHAMPION, Aethran Overmaster!
The show ends with Overmaster putting on the belt while the dejected bunch of Chaos, Mandrill and MONOLITH look on in anger from outside the ring.
Quick results -
* Probation & Fist defeat Titan Samurai w AETHRAN HONOR * Shayne pins Paganax w SHOWDOWN * The Demon Hunters win by DQ over Eydilon & Psi when Oracle interferes * Mayhem Unleashed pins Overtime after a chain smash * Wolf defeats Lope with END OF THE HUNT * Dark Justice is a DQ winner over Star Slayer after THE APOCALYPSE * Bex beats Sur by submission w MORTAL MUTILATION * Perfect Specimen retains the GWF IP title, beating Turmoil w PINNACLE OF SUCCESS * Aethran Overmaster becomes GWF Champion for the 7th time, taking the belt back and beating MONOLITH, Chaos Supreme and Mandrill in a Fatal Four Way Match.
