Paralyze: So why is it just assumed that you will be the one taking on Iron Hand? I’m pretty bad ass too, you know. I could take him down and beat Endgame for the title.
Aethran Overmaster: Because I’m the Aethran Minister of War and leader of this group! I’m facing Iron Hand, so your job is to prepare for your Inter-Planetary Title match against Swarm at Cosmic Clash. End of story.
Paralyze: Fine. Just make sure you beat Iron Hand, otherwise the Aethran Minister of War won’t even be wrestling on the show in front of his loyal subjects._United Stars Title Match_
Anivar (ch) vs. Vidtek- Teammates on Covert Operations, the two curiously squared off here for the U.S. Title. Anivar continued his strong run, retaining with THE ENFORCER SPEAKS. (**) Winner: AnivarOn the Edge vs. Power & Pride- The winless Tanck and Scimitar at least put up a respectable performance this time out before Payback pinned Tanck with a falling leg drop from the top. (***) Winners: On the EdgeVidCam: The Ani-Men locker room.
Mantis: I wanted to make sure I told you first – I challenged Oracle to a Cosmic Cage match at Cosmic Clash.
Swarm: Are you sure you’re ready for that kind of match?
Mantis: I’m ready. No worries.
Swarm: I hope so; I know you can handle yourself in the ring, but a cage match is a whole different animal.
Mantis: It’s exactly what I want. I’m going to make Gryt pay tonight, and I’m going to punish Oracle at the pay-per-view.Mantis vs. Gryt- Mantis looked good and had his opponent down when the other members of Dark Carnival came out to surround the ring. While the ref quickly ejected them, the short distraction proved vital to Gryt's comeback efforts as a few minutes later Mantis was forced to tap to the STRONGMAN STRETCH. (***) Winner: GrytTauran vs. Tricks- Quite the rivalry has developed between these two former Galactic Champions. After a double disqualification finish on the last WarZone, the two met again. For the second consecutive match, the remaining Dark Carnival members came down to the ring, this time causing their in-ring representative to be dq'ed. (**) Winner by disqualification: Tauran_Inter-Planetary Title Match_
Swarm (ch) vs. Oracle- For the third straight match, Oracle wandered down to the ring, although this time legally as Swarm's opponent. The fans wondered if Dark Carnival would make it an "interference trifecta" with Swarm being the greatest thorn in the groups side. However, the IP champ quickly ended the match with the WASP TRAP. (* 1/2) Winner: Swarm~ Swarm continued his assault after the match, before grabbing the microphone and challenging the downed Oracle to the special match of his choice on the next show. However, the injured Oracle was unable to respond (and didn't look in any shape to accept the challenge!)_Mensa Tables Match_
Monolith vs. Wolf- At the onset of the match, Monolith held a 4-1 lead in the Fatal Showdown. Wolf put on one of his best performances, but after going through a flaming table, he didn't have anything left to resist THE END OF ALL THINGS. Monolith now holds a huge 5-1 edge in the series. (****) Winner: Monolith_Galactic Tag Team Title Match_
Leaders of the Pack (ch) vs. Common Enemy- In their first title defense, Malkuth and Panther Warrior found themselves in an awesome encounter, as American Guy and U.S. Male battled valiantly. With stellar teammwork displayed on both sides and many near falls, the match just fell short of a 5-star rating. In the end, the champs survive their first defense, as U.S. Male fell victim to THIRD REIGN. (**** 1/2) Winners: Leaders of the Pack_Fight the Power Match_
Iron Hand vs. Aethran Overmaster- Lots on the line here, as the Overmaster needed to defeat Iron Hand to get himself a shot at Endgame at COSMIC CLASH. However, after having his head rammed into the exterior force field, the Overmaster fell prey to I RUN THIS FED. Now the big question is, who will square off with Galactic Champion Endgame at the pay-per-view? (* 1/2) Winner: Iron Hand |
