[shadow=blue,left,300] GALACTIC GATHERING[/shadow] Intergalactic Grand Grotto; Callisto Moon, JupiterLeaders of the Pack vs. Outcasts - Not the effort the Ani-Men were hoping for to end the year, as Nosfera uses THE DEMON'S BREATH on Panther Warrior to score the 'W'. (**) Winners: Outcasts
Swarm vs. Payback - A wildman spear and an EXVENGE and it was over just like that. Total dud for Swarm, losing in under 15 seconds. (*) Winner: Payback
_Women's Title Match_ Mother Superior vs. Shann Ra - Easy defense for the champ, who nets the victory with SERPENTS OF HYDRA. (**) Winner: Mother Superior
_Hydra Lumberjack Match_ Mantis vs. Oracle - The remaining members of the Ani-Men and Dark Carnival surrounded the ring as the lumberjacks. Good action in the ring, with each man taking advantage of the presence of his allies to get a brief rest. However, the third time the lumberjacks came into play resulted in a massive brawl between all 10 men, forcing the ref to throw the match out. Decision: No contest
_United Stars Title / Titan Death Match_ Rush (ch) vs. Vidtek - A recent DQ loss by the champ prompted this Titan Death rematch, which, on paper, would seem to favor the Aethran. Vidtek, however, brought his 'A' game and rather easily took the champion out with BIG TIME. (**) Winner and new United Stars Champion: Vidtek
Tauran vs. Paralyze - Tauran is coming off a win over the Aethran Overmaster and looked to make it two consecutive Gladiators vanquished. Paralyze, however, stepped up his game and took down the reverse-ager with PERMANENTLY PARALYZED. (*** 1/2) Winner: Paralyze
_Inter-Planetary Title Match_ Havoc (ch) vs. Tricks - Tricks manages to get COULROPHOBIA past the ref - which Havoc kicked out of - but couldn't hide the chair shot outside the ring. Havoc retains via DQ. (** 1/2) Winner by disqualification: Havoc
_Street Suicide Match_ Sly Drury and Patch vs. Hector and Anivar - All four men see ring time and get some of their offense in. Finally hated rivals Hector and Drury face off against each other. Wicked Games from the Brown Bear puts away the Commissioner. (***) Winners: Hector and Anivar
_Galactic Tag Team Title Match_ Divided We Fall (ch) vs. Frontal Assault - Bloodline started the match off for the champs, but didn't fare too well before making the tag to Encubus. The offspring of Thantos refuses to tag Bloodline back in for the rest of the match, and single-handedly retains the gold via the Encubus Crucifix on Thraxx. (***) Winners: Divided We Fall
_Pictor Four Corners Match_ Endgame vs. Aethran Overmaster - Outstanding encounter between the two enemies. Overmaster delivered a perfect REIGN OF THE OVERMASTER and managed to drag Endgame to three of the corners, but the latter resisted the fourth to the delight of the crowd. After several minutes of battle, Endgame locked in the ROLLING FIGURE FOUR on his Aethran opponent. He let go just short of breaking the Overmaster's leg, and successfully dragged the big man to all four corners for the win. (**** 1/2) Winner: Endgame
_Galactic Title /Last Man Standing / Fatal Showdown Match_ Wolf (ch) vs. Monolith - After trailing 7-3 in the Fatal Showdown, Wolf had fought his way back to a 7-6 deficit. Their recent Torture Chamber Match left Monolith injured, but obviously the giant wouldn't let a little pain stand in the way of competition, even if his ring skills were somewhat diminished. The two GWF legends battled valiantly, with both men utilizing their finishers. Finally Wolf wore his competitor out, and Monolith failed to meet the ref's 10-count. (**** 1/2) Winner: Wolf
Commissioner Drury came out and announced that since the two men were now tied 7-7 in the Fatal Showdown, a tie-breaking Milky Way Falls Count Anywhere Match would be held...right now!
_Galactic Title / Milky Way Falls Count Anywhere / Fatal Showdown Match_ Wolf (ch) vs. Monolith - Both men naturally showed fatigue from their just-completed Last Man Standing encounter, but the adrenaline kicked in quite a bit for each, as they were still able to deliver a very good tie-breaking match. Monolith crushed Wolf with THE END OF ALL THINGS and scored the pin to win the Fatal Showdown, the Galactic Title, and to put a successful end to 2124. (*** 1/2) Winner and new Galactic Champion: Monolith ~ The two legends then shook hands in the center of the ring! See you soon in 2125!

DEIMOS PERENNIAL 2125Deimos Intergalactic Arena, Deimos Ensor vs. Coven Black - The mysterious newcomer Coven Black eats an ERUPTION OF THARSIS from his rival to open 2125. Not a bad opening effort from the Draconian, but certainly not the result he wanted. (***) Winner: Ensor Commissioner Drury announced that due to Monolith's inability to compete for the foreseeable future, a tournament would be held tonight to determine a new Galactic Champion! The tournament will feature the Aethran Overmaster, Paralyze, Tricks, Endgame, Tauran, Havoc, Swarm, and Sly Drury! _Galactic Title Tournament Quarter-Final Match_ Tauran vs. Swarm - Two multi-time Galactic Champions faced off in the tournament's opening encounter. Not surprisingly the two put on one of the best matches of the show, with the Hornet's Sting making Swarm the eventual winner. (****) Winner: Swarm
_Galactic Title Tournament Quarter-Final Match_ Aethran Overmaster vs. Tricks - As a former Galactic Champion and a man with a win over Monolith in his past, Tricks proved to be quite the foil for the Overmaster. However, the Aethran Minister of War used his power to his advantage and finally vanquished his opponent with REIGN OF THE OVERMASTER. (*** 1/2) Winner: Aethran Overmaster
Symbiosis vs. Retribution - Retribution looks great in his FDF debut match, while Drury must have been left wondering just what kind of wrestler Abroz and Dialectas gave him. Retribution wins easily with MYTHBUSTER. (* 1/2) Winner: Retribution
_Galactic Title Tournament Quarter-Final Match_ Havoc vs. Paralyze - An interesting first round draw with two former tag team partners facing off. To add additional intrigue, Havoc recently defeated Paralyze to win the Inter-Planetary Title. That belt would be of no consequence here, with both men having their sights set on a higher goal. Havoc threw everything he had at Paralyze, who managed to evade pin both with his skills and with those of Strafe, who found herself ejected from ringside. Paralyze capitalized on that brief distraction and advanced with PERMANENTLY PARALYZED. (****) Winner: Paralyze
_Galactic Title Tournament Quarter-Final Match_ Sly Drury vs. Endgame - Very weak performance from Endgame, as Drury essentially had his way with the three-time former champion. Drury, himself holder of the belt on five different occasions, scored the victory with CRIME LORD. (** 1/2) Winner: Sly Drury DragonMaster and Vanity set the stage for the Infinity Challenge Draft, explaining the background to the crowd and announcing that Abroz and Dialectas were being given exclusive rights to 10 GWF shows during the year to hold Infinity Challenge matches. Occasionally Infinity Challenge matches likely would also be featured on WarZone episodes and pay-per-views. Abroz and Dialectas were then shown on the Holo-Tron, and the draft commenced.
#1: Tricks (Abroz) #2: American Guy (Dialectas) #3: Oracle (A) #4: Panther Warrior (D) #5: Shann Ra (A) #6: U.S. Male (D) #7: She Devil (A) #8: Vidtek (D) #9: Zygon (A) #10: Tristan (D) #11: Malkuth (A) #12: Betrayer (D) #13: Tanck (A) #14: Gryt (D) #15: Mantis (A) #16: Thraxx (D) #17: Nitro (A) #18: Bloodline (D) #19: Scimitar (A) #20: Deadliest (D) #21: Plethador (A) #22: Rotunda (D)
Fighting as tag teams for Abroz will be Tricks and Oracle (Dark Futures) and Tanck and Malkuth (Power & Paws), while U.S. Male and American Guy (Stars & Stripes) and Tristan and the Betrayer (Titan Blood) will represent Team Dialectas.Ultimate Fighters vs. Rush & Turmoil - This match was to feature the in-ring debuts of Clinch, Shoot and Turmoil. However, only the two Ultimate Fighters technically got their first taste of GWF action, as Turmoil never made it into the match. Clinch felled Rush with a left hook and got the pin. (* 1/2) Winners: Ultimate Fighters A few scenes are shown of wrestlers reacting to the Infinity Challenge Draft:
- Gryt and Rotunda embrace when learning they're on the same team. - Malkuth and Mantis talk about being teammates with Tricks, Oracle, Tanck and Scimitar. - Tristan hesitantly talks to the Betrayer about being a tag team. - Thraxx and Zygon display frustration about being on opposite teams._Galactic Title Tournament Semi-Final Match_ Aethran Overmaster vs. Swarm - Overmaster moved from Tricks to the clown's long time rival, Swarm. The GWF gods appeared to be on Swarm's side, as Overmaster hit a perfect REIGN OF THE OVERMASTER, but the Ani-Man stunned everyone by kicking out at 2. However, Swarm couldn't keep up the momentum, and after a second REIGN OF THE OVERMASTER, it was all over. (***) Winner: Aethran Overmaster
_Galactic Title Tournament Semi-Final Match_ Paralyze vs. Sly Drury - The finals of a tournament are always interesting, and the finals of a title tournament are even more interesting. But the finals of this tournament were to be historic, as it would either feature a battle between two fellow Aethrans or a battle between two co-commissioners. Drury succeeded in neutralizing the Gladiator's strength, and took to the air, hitting a perfect cross body block to move on to the finals. (***) Winner: Sly Drury
Paganax, Bishop Hell & Nosfera vs. Hector, Thantos & Payback - This exciting 6-man bout showcased 3/4 of the Rogues Gallery and Legends of the Ring teams. Seeing two newcomers portraying legends like Thantos and Bishop Hell caused DragonMaster and Vanity to do a fair bit of reminiscing about the golden age of the GWF. Paganax gave Rogues Gallery the victory by forcing Payback to submit to Rings of Fire. (*** 1/2) Winners: Paganax, Bishop Hell & Nosfera
_Galactic Title Tournament Finals / Titan Death Match_ Aethran Overmaster vs. Sly Drury - The two had recently forged a loose alliance as co-commissioners of the GWF. Would having to meet in the tournament finals hurt that bond? The Overmaster made quick work of Drury, getting earning his first title with REIGN OF THE OVERMASTER. Conspiracy theorists already have mused that Drury tanked the match to keep the Aethran Minister of War on his good side... (* 1/2) Winner and new Galactic Champion: Aethran Overmaster

Awesome show to open 2125! Interesting that Sly & AOM met in the finals, giving the conspiracy theorists material already! Great 6 man match, even though Payback submitted.
Can't wait to see how your Infinity Challenge unfolds! Go Team Dialectas!!

Excellent opening to 2125!
Thought Sly Drury would win the Galactic title but who better to beat him than AOM!
Nice draft. Power and Paws is an interesting team and will be fun to follow to see how they can do.

Callisto Centroplex, Jupiter Titan Death Match Mantis vs. Oracle - After their Hydra Lumberjack Match at 2124's concluding show GALACTIC GATHERING ended up in a huge brawl between the Ani-Men and Dark Carnival, the two signed on for this Titan Death rematch. Oracle's prophetic powers failed him, while Mantis' Prey Snare power aided him greatly, as he makes the comeback and uses RAPTORIAL GRASP to procure the win. (***) Winner: Mantis
Patch vs. Anivar - An exciting match between these rivals. Sleeper Cell attacks Patch three different times, severely weakening him. Anivar delivers the KNUCKLE TATTOO for the win. (*** 1/2) Winner: Anivar Highlights are shown of Divided We Fall's tag team dominace over the last few years. DragonMaster and Vanity then go over the matchups in the tag team tournament for the titles vacated by DWF's breakup.Galactic Tag Team Title Tournament Semi-Final Match Stars & Stripes vs. Frontal Assault - What started out as a great match, soon turned into a full-scale brawl, with all four men fighting in the ring. The ref disqualified both teams, knocking them all out of contention for the tag belts! (***) Result: Double disqualification
Galactic Tag Team Title Tournament Final Match Leaders of the Pack vs. Ultimate Fighters - With the other two teams stunningly eliminated, what started out as a scheduled semi-final encounter became the match to determine the new champs. If Malkuth and Panther Warrior won, they'd have to pull double duty as singles wrestlers in the Infinity Challenge (on opposite sides) and tag team champions, while the newcomes Clinch and Shoot were appearing in just their second GWF match, already with a chance for gold. Panther Warrior and Clinch spend most of the encounter as the legal men for their teams, each absorbing a good deal of punishment. Shoot finally gets tagged in, locked in TAPPED OUT!, and won their belts! (***) Winners and new Galactic Tag Team Champions: Ultimate Fighters ~ Rush and Turmoil then came out and blindsided the new champs with chairshots!United Stars Title Match Vidtek (ch) vs. Gryt - Before the two men began their tenure as teammates in the Infinity Challenge, they met in a battle for Vidtek's United Stars Title. The champ put Gryt down for several near falls, but the challenger kicked out. Finally, Vidtek went up top and hit a perfect cross body block to score the pin. (*** 1/2) Winner: Vidtek Patch stormed into his friend Commissioner Drury's office and demanded a Cosmic Cage re-match with Anivar on the next WarZone!Paganax vs. Payback - The two men squared off as part of a 6-man tag match on the Perennial, where the Heathen Chief forced the hardcore Titan to submit to Rings of Fire. Payback got a little of his name, hitting a perfect EXVENGE to put Paganax's shoulders to the mat. (*** 1/2) Winner: Payback
Inter-Planetary Title Match Havoc (ch) vs. Paralyze - Everything seemed to be going Havoc's way in this match. Paralyze managed little offense - although he did hit PERMANENTLY PARALYZED with Havoc kicked out of - while the champ bombarded his foe with his top offensive strikes. Paralyze was a bloody mess. Strafe's distraction is the only thing that kept him from being pinned. Despite Paralyze being almost unconscious on his feet, Havoc couldn't find the right pinning combination, and slowly his challenger regained strength. A second PERMANENTLY PARALYZED in the match spelled the end of the title reign for Havoc. (**** 1/2) Winner and new Inter-Planetary Champion: Paralyze The Aethran Overmaster comes out and brags about winning the Galactic Title, challenging any member of the FDF to face him in his first title defense on the next WarZone!Encubus vs. Bloodline - It seems like a lifetime has passed since these two squared off against each in singles action. As one of the greatest tag teams in GWF history, seeing them now back to being on opposite sides of a GWF ring seemed surreal. Bloodline tried, but his eroding skills just couldn't match his heart. Encubus puts down his former partner with SECOND COMING. (**) Winner: Encubus
