Rob's surgery is scheduled for 12noon ET today.
Went to see him Saturday at the hospital and he is in pretty good spirits ... well as good as can be expected.
I told him all the well wishes he was getting from everyone on the board and he was glad to hear that.
Katrina will be letting me know what happens so as soon as I know, I'll post an update!

Thanks for the update. I have been checking the board throughout the morning and will check back this afternoon. Still praying for a successful outcome.

Ok here's the scoop:
Rob is recovering in the ICU and his family and Katrina are waiting for him to wake up. Katrina said it's "looking good."
I'm getting txts from Katrina as I type this so if there's more to add, it should be up soon.

Thanks for keeping us posted, Brett. Don't know how many times I was off and on the board looking for the update.

Ok so they put a defibrillator and pace maker into Rob today and it wasn't open heart, they made an incision in his shoulder.
Now his heart will not have the arrhythmia that it had and if his heart stops for any reason, the defibrillator will shock him back. The doctors said that the procedure couldn't have gone better.
Katrina said that Rob may be released as early as Thursday.
