THE RISE OF MONOLITH
FEATURING ALL SUPER-TEAM BATTLE ZONE MATCHES!
Hosted by Vanity and Dragon Master
The show opens with the 2126 INFINITY CHALLENGE DRAFT!
Abroz (Tom) (2125 winner) vs. Dialectas (Me)[/center]
Dialectas has the first pick, and he chooses:
THE TITANS
(Overtime, Titan Blood/Tristan and The Betrayer and Mother Superior)
(Overtime, Titan Blood/Tristan and The Betrayer and Mother Superior)
Overtime comes out, officially making his historic debut in the G.W.F.! After soaking up the cheers from the crowd, slapping hands with the fans and signing autographs, OT steps into the ring and annoyingly motions for the rest of the Titans to join him. He grabs the mic and tells The Betrayer, Mother Superior and Tristan not to speak. OT hypes his arrival, calling himself the "Undisputed No.1 draft pick" OT lays it down, telling Dialectas he won't regret taking him first overall and guarantess him victory over Abroz in 2126
...and with the 2nd pick in the INFINITY CHALLENGE, Abroz selects...
FDF WATCHMEN
(Ensor, HelSin, Retribution, Scorn)
(Ensor, HelSin, Retribution, Scorn)
The heroic Ensor returns to the GWF (after his 2125 banishment at the hands of Havoc) and leads the Watchmen to the ring. Newcomers HelSin and Scorn are joined by an ally with common interests, Retribution.
The next pick is on the line as Overtime and Ensor square off one on one!
* Overtime wins his GWF debut in a great, high-flying match with Ensor, hitting OVERTIME RULES two consecutive times for the W.
The win gives Dialectas 2 points.
...with the 3rd pick in the 2126 INFINITY CHALLENGE, Dialectas selects...
CREATURES OF THE NIGHT
(Coven Black, Mistress of Darkness, Nosfera, Symbiosis)
(Coven Black, Mistress of Darkness, Nosfera, Symbiosis)
Coven leads his creatures to the ring amid a cloud of blue, purple and black smoke....he deeply kisses Mistress while Nosfera and Omen stand guard...Symbiosis intimidates in the background
...with the 4th pick in the 2126 INFINITY CHALLENGE, Abroz selects...
a.C.e ARMY
(Avarice, Skulk, Hijack and Sultana)
(Avarice, Skulk, Hijack and Sultana)
Avarice leads the a.C.e Army to the ring. Avarice has been in a bad mood lately. In late 2125 he signed the biggest contract in GWF histiory with Sly Drury. He was also promised his own team in 2126 by Drury. With Drury long gone and Overmaster leading the villains, Avarice finds himself in the Infinity Challenge, marching to the orders of his former a.C.e rival, Paganax. Paganax hates Avarice, but knows he is a valuable fighter and ally against the powerful FDF/Covert Operations union. If Avarice proves himself to Paganax he could be called up to the Council of War.
Sultana has no connection to Avarice, but agreed to play the part of required female competitor in order to continue her hunt of Mother Superior into the Infinity Challenge
It's Creatures of the Night vs. a.C.e Army in womens action as Mistress of Darkness (with Coven Black) debuts vs. Sultana...
* Mistress wins her debut...Mistress was dominating and applies Bite of the Vampire successfully! Instead of just hurting Sultana, it woke her up big time. Mistress survives an onslaught including PARDON MY SPEAR before hitting Dark Maiden Dive out of nowhere to get the pin
...with the 5th pick in the 2126 INFINITY CHALLENGE, Dialectas selects...
ANIMEN OF ANDROMEDA
(Mantis, Leaders of the Pack/Malkuth and Panther Warrior, and Shann-Ra)
(Mantis, Leaders of the Pack/Malkuth and Panther Warrior, and Shann-Ra)
Mantis gets a big assignment this year, being put in charge of the Animen by Swarm, while Swarm fights on the main roster. After a year apart, Panther Warrior and Malkuth are back together as Leaders of the Pack. Plethador is long gone. Arguably the best female fighter in the entire GWF, Shann-Ra is back after running She Devil out of the Infinity Challenge at the end of 2125.
...with the 6th pick in the 2126 INFINITY CHALLENGE, Abroz selects...
DARK CARNIVAL
(Tricks, Oracle/Dark Futures, Gryt, Rotunda)
(Tricks, Oracle/Dark Futures, Gryt, Rotunda)
Tricks and Oracle form an official tag team in 2126, giving Gryt his first serious career singles push. Oracle was the 2125 IC MVP and has predicted that Dark Futures will share that title again in 2126. Rotunda is a great annoyance to Tricks, who he tolerates, needing a female fighter on the team.
* Leaders of the Pack reunite and look like a million bucks doing it. They steamroll Dark Futures and earn 3 big points for a dominant victory. Malkuth pins Tricks with LORD OF THE POUNCE to clinch.
...with the 7th pick in the 2126 INFINITY CHALLENGE, Dialectas selects...
AMERICAN MEDIA
(American Guy, Vidtek, Phantasy and US Male)
(American Guy, Vidtek, Phantasy and US Male)
Finally! The new, make-shift team of American Guy, Vidtek, US Male and Phantasy have been drafted. Within seconds, Vidtek is all over his Twitter, Facebook, and blog with the news. @cotgalaxy LOL! W8td till 7th pick to b drafted by @dialectasofic. STEAL OF DRAFT 4SURE VID-HEADS!!!!! ROLFLMAO @thraxximmovable and @zygon3fingers4u
American Guy says just like the real news, the news for all of their opponents is BAD NEWS! "Pain, suffering, chaos, terror! That's what you get when you watch American Media!"
...with the 8th and final pick in the 2126 INFINITY CHALLENGE, Abroz selects...
POWER CORE
(Thraxx, Zygon, Deadliest and Nitro)
(Thraxx, Zygon, Deadliest and Nitro)
Nitro tells everyone how all the chicks back at the hotel want to have sex with him. Then he goes and plays Angry Birds in the corner. Thraxx and Zygon announce they'll be going back to being called The Master Race. This shocks many reporters as it's well known the two former enemies of Aethra dropped that name in support of the Overmaster and the Gladiators in 2124. Is the Master Race showing defiance to the villain team by showcasing a name that suggests they are better than the Gladiators?
* Thraxx and Zygon celebrate going back to being called the Master Race with a dominant performance over American Guy and Vidtek, winning with POWER OF KROLL on Vidtek, earning 3 points...
during the match, Vidtek tweeted the results...
@cotgalaxy AG starts. oh no big boot by Thraxx. he's so ugly

BATTLEZONE MATCHES BEGIN!
The captains of the 3 winning teams will meet on the first BFC of the new year in a Tirion Triple Threat Match to determine the first GWF Commissioner of 2126.
COUNCIL OF WAR VS. COVERT OPERATIONS
The captains of the 3 winning teams will meet on the first BFC of the new year in a Tirion Triple Threat Match to determine the first GWF Commissioner of 2126.
COUNCIL OF WAR VS. COVERT OPERATIONS
Havoc has accepted Overmaster's offer to join his Council of War in 2126. After all, it was Spike and his team who Havoc betrayed, the same army Overmaster overthrew and took power from. Havoc is wary of Overmaster, but accepts the offer after butting heads with Endgame over showing no remorse following his fed-banishing victory over Ensor. Havoc claims to have no hard feelings toward Clinch and Shoot, but feels slighted by the Dark Menace, who's direction helped Havoc win the GWF Title last year, and the GWF Wargames Title which he still holds. It seems like the rift was caused when Menace became solely focused on Monolith. Havoc is one of the most successful wrestlers in GFITG history. His number one priority is championships. Does he feel like with Monolith back, his chances of Menace getting him GWF Title shots are lower than ever? Maybe he feels like Overmaster holds all the power in the GWF now thus giving him the best chance at GWF gold. Maybe his proud Aethran feelings are naturally surfacing as he matures. No one knows for sure, but he has joined the Council of War and hesitantly takes orders from Paganax, if only to please the Overmaster. Is Havoc headed back to the Gladiator team?
Covert Operations counters by bringing on Patch, a natural fit with tough guys Clinch and Shoot. This hardly makes Patch a "good guy." He still takes a lot of heat from GWF management and fans for keeping secret the whereabouts of Sly Drury. Patch simply had nowhere else to turn once Drury disappeared and Overmaster dumped him like yesterdays news from the villain team. When Patch jumped Havoc after his acceptance to join Overmaster's Council of War, it was a sign to Overmaster himself. Patch plans to defeat Havoc and get his hands on Overmaster for running his boss, Sly Drury from the GWF.
The match begins and in no surprise, the brave and mighty Paganax is the first fighter down the aisle for his team. He is met in the ring by one of the newest most dangerous men on the roster: Clinch.
* Clinch and Paganax bring the house down, brawling all over the ringside area...Paganax misses a big clothesline off the ropes and Clinch nails him with ULTIMATE KO!
Paganax goes down hard for the 1-2-3!
* Newcomer Tharkas is out next. He looks great in his GWF debut, methodically targeting Clinch's neck and back with his offense, finishing the Ultimate Fighter with OBLITERATOR!
* Shoot hits the ring and looks for revenge on Tharkas, but it wasn't meant to be. Tharkas avoids TAPPED OUT! a couple of times, fighting back to his OBLITERATOR for the win.
Tharkas eliminates the GWF tag team champions!
* Patch makes his debut as part of Covert Operations and puts the boots to Tharkas! Patch over-powers the Rogue Ravager, using COMPLETE PATCHWORK for the win!
It's down to Patch from Covert Operations and Havoc of Council of W...wait a minute what is this....?
it's.............................................
.........
.........
.........
.........
PLETHADOR! and his cousin, Skwish!
Plethador marches to the ring all the while Sqwish douses him with the Hydro-Gun. Plethador grabs the mic and praises the Overmaster! Plethador says Overmaster's Council of War team could be the best team in GWF history if they had just one final piece - Plethador says they've got the powerful Centra leader, Paganax. They've got the dangerous Ravager, Tharkas. They even have a Gladiator with Havoc. But if Overmaster wants to dominate the FDF, they need an Andromedan! And he's the Animan for the job!
Plethador orders Skwish to spray him down, and demands that the ref ring the bell!
* Patch destroys Plethador, destroying him with COMPLETE PATCH WORK.
After the match Patch runs off Skwish...
With that out of the way, it comes down to Patch from Covert Operations vs. Havoc of Council of War
* GWF WARGAMES CHAMPION, Havoc makes Overmaster look smart, taking it to Patch, clinching with FALLEN DREAMS...
Havoc's sole surviving victory puts Overmaster in the big Tirion Triple Threat match for the Commissioner position on the next BFC!
GWF LEGENDS VS. FDF RESERVES
Hector is showing his true colors after running Sly Drury out of the GWF. He's been screwing with the minds of many opponents for years, now he's screwing with the minds of everyone in the GWF, including the fans! His Legend impostors have the current roster and veterans alike, livid.
The FDF Reserves is a powder keg ready to explode. Swarm hates Endgame but agrees to the team arrangement for no other reason than to sit back, watch Psi fail, and be there to tell Endgame "I told you so." Swarm feels like the real bad blood remains between him and Hector, and wants every opportunity he has at the man in the bear suit. Swarm has the best back-up in the galaxy: the fearless Payback and the monster Strong. How long before the three Inner Circle members turn on PSI?
We see a clip of the FDF Reserves going over their strategy. Swarm is showing Psi no respect. PSI asks Swarm for his opinion and Swarm responds by mocking Psi. "Why are you asking me? You're the one with all the brain power. You tell us." Eventually Swarm gets annoyed with Psi analyzing their opponents, and heads to the ring, ready to fight!
* Swarm rallies the fans behind him, raging out against the hated newcomer, Star Warrior! Swarm mangles Star Warrior's back with WASP TRAP then pins him clean with VENOMOUS STINGER!
Swarm celebrates in the ring, ready for his next opponent...it's Thantos! Thantos was 2-1 vs. Swarm in 2125, retaining the GWF Title over him twice...
* Thantos (8 tokens) gets by Swarm (4 tokens) again, hitting the King of Sting with a neckbreaking LEGEND LARIAT in a great match!
* Thantos starts 2126 off with an impact, sweeping the Loose Cannons all by himself! Thantos takes out Payback after rolling through a top rope powerbomb, holding the ropes for the pin
* Thantos sees his big run come to an end at the powerful hands of Strong! Strong hits STRONG! for the 1-2-3
* Hector remains behind the scenes, sending Bishop Hell out to take out Strong and Bishop comes through! Hell blinds Strong with HELLFIRE for the win
* Bishop Hell looks like a new man as part of the Legends, using HELLFIRE to spoil the debut of Psi! This was an awesome match where Psi used his Psi Thrust twice.
Bishop Hell gets in good with Hector, taking out his new rival with HELLFIRE. After the match Hector comes down and mocks Psi, putting his fingers to his head like Psi then laughing...
The victory puts Hector in the big TTT match at BFC for the Commissioner position...
and in the Main Event....
FDF VS. GLADIATORS OF AETHRA
The buzz has been electric all day. Rumor is that this match will begin with Monolith vs. Overmaster. What else needs to be said?
The Deimos Intergalactic Arena comes unglued as MONOLITH returns!
* MONOLITH (7 tokens) vs. Overmaster (5 tokens) brings the 150,000+ crowd to their feet for every move. Like a battle between two galaxy devourers, the giants battle back and forth with all their biggest moves. MONOLITH survives a +6 REIGN OF THE OVERMASTER to comeback and apply I BREAK YOU. The Leveler gets involved and sways things in favor of Overmaster. Overmaster hits REIGN OF THE OVERMASTER +4 and it's over!
Overmaster wins the historic first battle, ruining the return of MONOLITH!
* Overmasters celebration ends when he is forced to tap out to GWF GALAXIAN CHAMPION Endgame and his ROLLING FIGURE FOUR. Even the Leveler can't help Overmaster here.
Despite the loss, Overmaster is elated to have defeated MONOLITH, and vows to win the GWF Title from Endgame sooner than later
* The champ suffers a minor set back in unexpected fashion, getting a DQ win over Paralyze in a match he had won when the Leveler enters the ring and crashes his cannon arm on the back of Endgame's head for the auto DQ!
After the match Overmaster comes back out and he, Paralyze and Leveler destroy Endgame! Leveler blasts Endgame right in the chest with his cannon, putting the champ down hard!
Endgame is injured for 1 fight card...he cannot continue on in the match
* With Endgame out, it's Anivar vs. Turmoil next. Turmoil uses TOTAL TURMOIL for the victory!
The Sleeper Cell were late making the pin save...
* Tauran is the last FDF fighter out and he picks up the W over Turmoil w VICTORY STAR DROP +4
the Main Event is down to Tauran vs. Rush!
* Rush awards the Overmaster with the final spot in the big Tirion Triple Threat Match, winning a great match with Tauran using THE TEMPEST to clinch!
The W puts Overmaster, along with Paganax, and Hector in the Main Event of card #1317, BFC to determine the first Commissioner of 2126.
The show ends with the Gladiators celebrating in the ring
end show...
