EPISODE #1 As the broadcast begins, a freight elevator comes to a stop and a makeshift wooden door slides open. From inside the freight elevator, two individuals step out, look at one another, and shake hands. “Welcome to the inaugural episode of Chikara’s podcast-a-go-go!” excitedly stated one of the individuals. “I am Bryce Remsburg and this is my broadcast partner, Wiggly.Wrestling fans, we are about to embark on a wondrous and fantastic journey here in the land of the Rising Sun.” “That’s right Bryce, Chikara is based in the land of sushi and adult cartoons. No, not that kind of cartoons- get your mind out of the gutter. Before we make our major announcement, let us send you to the KeithKam for some of our most recent acquisitions.” chimed Wiggly. A video began rolling that one could tell was a camcorder (as the screen contained a red square with “REC” in red letters in the bottom right hand corner) and the action was focused on several clips from Chikara’s sister fed ACCW. The highlights showed Claudio Castognoli battling in the Money in the Bank match (Card #123) and Incoherence’s awesome performance against C & C Connection on Card #124. The camcorder faded and the next set of highlights came from another WWA sister fed...the CSCW! There were several highlights of Chuck Taylor, Icarus, Jigsaw, Mike Quakenbush, 17, and the enigmatic Ultra Mantis Black! The camcorder faded as the broadcast returned to the Factory. “That’s right fans, all those names were acquired in Chikara’s merger with the World Wrestling Alliance!” Bryce paused, “ Not to mention that several stars which will be highlighted at the first ever iPPV-...” “That is awesome if I might add that is a HUGE announcement! To top it off, the Grand Champion will be decided by a reverse battle royale! Who will climb to the mountain top and claim the ultimate prize? Well fans, you will have to wait and see.” Wiggly exclaimed. “That’s wraps things up here in the Wrestle Factory,”concluded Bryce, “ but we will see you next time on Chikara’s own Podcast-A-Go-Go!”

The inaugural iPPV of Chikara started off with the Japanese pop-star/R & B singer Sowelu singing the national anthem of Japan- Kimigayo! The fans in attendance were overwrought with national pride as the young star’s vocals touched even the most hardened and jumped from sheer excitement as an enormous fireworks display erupted over the stadium. In tag action, The Throwbacks battled Los Ice Creams. The Mexican team used several tag moves on Dasher Hatfield and after awhile the Hoboken native didn’t know which way to go! Unfortunately, he walked right into a wheelbarrow slam/corner arm drag for the duke. Dunkerton went for the save but was stopped by a Sprinkle Bomb from Ice Cream Jr. (*) In a head-to-head battle, Pinkie Sanchez easily puts away Johnny Gargano with a BURNING SNICKLEFRITZ (1/2 *); In another 1-on-1 meeting, Ares struggled throughout the match but won against Brodie Lee via. TIGER DROP (DUD); In the first ever TRIOS MATCH, The Swarm faced off against The Colony. Back and forth action with all six participants in the bout. Soldier Ant lands a TKO on 17 that causes all six participants to storm the ring! When the smoke cleared, 17 applied a QUACKENDRIVER 3 on Soldier Ant to get the three count. (** 1/2) The ‘KeithKam’ made it’s way to the back locker room. The camcorder witnessed Tim Dunst talking to Claudio Castognoli. The two were making fun of Johnny Gargano for his pitiful performance against their fellow BDK member. Suddenly Castagnoli went from all smiles to a serious tone, he looked at his teammate and informed Dunst that he wanted his team to ensure that he wins the Battle Royale for the grand championship... In a colossal match, Ultra Mantis Black lucked out against Icarus with a PRAYING MANTIS BOMB. Afterwards, Chuck Taylor and Archibald Peck ran down to ringside and began to attack UMB! Moments later, Incoherence made the save for the Black Tea Garden resident and cleared the ring of the rudos. (**) After the ring cleared out, GAVIN LOUDSPEAKER climbed through the ropes and with microphone in hand explained exactly what the Reverse Battle Royale detailed. The match will start with the entire roster (all 24 wrestlers) fighting on the outside of the ring. The first objective is to attempt to climb into the squared circle until twelve men are able to leave the arena floor. At this point, the twelve wrestlers that are still on the arena floor are dismissed and a regular battle royale ensues. In the REVERSE BATTLE ROYALE, the entire roster waited for the bell to sound! After the bell rang, everyone sprang into action! Johnny Gargano immediately tore into Castagnoli with his other BDK members unable to offer assistance. Numerous battles occurred out onto the ring floor until the twelve finalists were decided! The twelve finalists were Sugar Dunkerton, Ice Cream Jr., Claudi Castognoli, Ultra Mantis Black, Soldier Ant, Ares, Hallowicked, Chuck Taylor, Archibald Peck, JIgsaw, Quakenbush, and Johnny Gargano!
When the second round was stated, Gargano was quickly thrown over the top rope by Castagnoli...Soldier Ant shortly followed after Ice Cream Jr. executed a Sprinkle Bomb...Archibald Peck was next after Jigsaw blasted him with JIG ‘N’ TONIC... Hallowicked was eliminated with a Chuck Taylor running clothesline but Taylor was tossed over by UltraMantis Black...Ice Cream jr. went to the top turnbuckle to attempt a high flying maneuver but was pushed off by Ares...Sugar Dunkerton was next to fall by Chuck Taylor with a toss over the top rope...Jigsaw and Chuck Taylor were grappling on the ropes but Castagnoli assisted both onto the concrete floor with a double scope slam...the final three were Quakenbush, Ares, and Castagnoli! Moments later, Castagnoli tossed Quakenbush into the ropes and went for a backdrop but Quakenbush managed to toss Ares toward the BDK leader and Ares was accidently sent reeling! The final two squared off for several moments awing the fans in the stadium and both were close on eliminating the other! Out on the arena floor, Ares was still fuming and grabbed Quakenbush’s ankle to set up a running clothesline that vanquished the Technicos leader! Castagnoli was the winner and becomes the first ever Chikara Grand Champion!

You want to run your mouth? Well, you better shut it or I am going to tattoo your face with European forearms!"

Episode #2 As the broadcast hits the airwaves, the transmission is filled with nothing but static. After a few moments, the podcast-a go-go theme slowly replaces the sound of the unstable signal.
“Welcome back fans! This is Bryce Remsburg and the return of Chikara is only a day away...a lot has happened since the rocky beginning but we are sure you will get up to speed soon.
”Keith chimes in, “You aren’t kidding Bryce...newcomers galore but the mainstays are still here including the Grand Champion himself, Claudio Castagnoli. The BDK leader will be facing off on our first card back against the rookie Shynron.”
“He isn’t going to be happy about having to wrestle a relative unknown.” Bryce explained, “ Plus, earlier this week you captured three newcomers in their natural habitat...a group called the Baltic Seige.
”The “Keithcam” sprang to life with the camera showing the sun slowly sinking below the horizon of a woody area. The camera swung around to show a bonfire with the cloak figures chanting unrecognizable gibberish. All three suddenly jumped out toward the camera while casting their cloaks to the ground.
One of the figures croaked that he was known as the Lithuanian Snow Troll, the figure to the right is Latvian Proud Oak, and the one on his left is Estonian Thunderfrog. Snow Troll exclaimed that Chikara will never be the same and then began to growl something unintelligible before the camera shut off.
“Wow! A huge announcement with their entry into the already talented fed! Also, the next show (promptly named “From the Ashes”) with feature the second round of the CAMPEONATOS de PAREJAS Tournament.”“That about wraps everything up for now. See you next time on Podcast-a-go-go!”
