7 INTERNATIONAL CHALLENGE TOURNAMENTNIGHT II DREW GALLOWAY 1 pinned SHAWN DAVAIRI 3 /w/ Double Arm DDT * The Iraqi started strong but the Scottish NWA WORLD CHAMPION showed why he is champ. KYLE O'REILLY 3 pinned EL GENERICO 5 /w/ Ax & Smash followed by a BRAINBUSTER! * The sold out FedEx Forum was split as chants of USA!! was countered by Ole'..Ole'...OLE'...!! The match itself was incredible with both escaping the others finisher several times. In the end though it was Old Glory that was soaring high, after O'Reilly beat the Lucha star with his own signature move. HIROSHI TANAHASHI 4 pinned CLAUDIO CASTAGNOLI 5 /w/ Styles Clash!! * Easily the best match of the tournament so far, as these two left everything they had inside the squared circle. Late in the match the Swiss Superman went for a back body drop but it was reversed into a call out move for AJ Styles and the pin!!! MICHAEL ELGIN pinned PJ BLACK 2 /w/ Elgin Bomb * The angry Canadian is obviously not paid by the hour as he dismantled the NWA WORLD TV CHAMPION and won easily. Intermission............KYLE O'REILLY 4 beat DREW GALLOWAY 5 by SUB /w/ Armageddon * The roof almost blew off the FedEx Forum when the NWA WORLD CHAMPION tapped out to end a classic four star match. MICHAEL ELGIN 3 pinned HIROSHI TANAHASHI 6 /w/ Avalanche Elgin Bomb * The big Canadian survived TWO High Fly Flows and made a huge comeback. He delivered THREE Elgin Bombs, the third being an Avalanche for the win! ~KB~ (owner, CEO and director of talent for PREDATOR PROMTIONS) walked out on stage, flanked by SWARM & PAYBACK (The Inner Circle). ~KB~ "I'm going to make this short and sweet........" Fans boo wildly!!!!!! ~KB~ laughs..... "I don't care what you think of me, never have. Anyway.... I'm getting off track." Swarm says something to ~KB~ "Yeah right..... I'm out here to announce I'm in the process of signing major talent to the NWA roster, the first being....... well, a picture is worth a thousand words, so behold." ~KB~ "That's right..... I signed the greatest first generation wrestler personally and he will be here next card EVOLUTION 8 in Mississippi......I'm done talking to you peons." The Inner Circle head to the back to a chorus of boos............ NWA NEWS P.A.B. has apparently disbanded after an altercation in a hotel room in Memphis. Reports, sketchy as they are, say a fight broke out in the Memphis hotel room of Caleb Konley and Anthony Nese. The police were called, Konley was arrested as Nese was taken away in an ambulance. There was major property damage and the NWA has yet to release a public statement on the matter. When questioned, SoCal Val had no comment on the subject as she got in a car with an unknown driver and drove away. ~KB~ " I have no comment on this matter until all the facts are known for sure......... On another note, the NWA WORLD TAG TEAM TITLES will still be defended in Starkville. The champions, THE FOREVER HOOLIGANS, will take on the YOUNG BUCKS. The show must go on as they say. Thank you." |

JAY LETHAL 1-0CHUCK TAYLOR 0-0JOHNNY GARGANO 0-0ZACK SABRE JR. 0-1SABRE draws a second match in a row....CHUCK TAYLOR pinned ZACK SABRE JR. 4 /w/ Awful Waffle * Taylor took full advantage of the ailing TV champ and ended it quick. JAY LETHAL 1-0CHUCK TAYLOR 1-0JOHNNY GARGANO 0-0ZACK SABRE JR. 0-2It's Taylor's turn to go again...........CHUCK TAYLOR 2 pinned JOHNNY GARGANO 4 /w/ Awful Waffle * These former tag partners showed great respect for each other in the beginning but as the match went on, the more heated it got. Taylor shocked everyone when he landed a Sole Food that looked to knock Gargano out cold. Chuck then dead lifted Johnny's limp body up for an Awful Waffle and that was it for the NWA NORTHAMERICAN CHAMPION! Knowing Gargano was still woozy he thought it would be easy but walked right into a Gargano Escape. He forced a rope break on the first but Johnny was relentless and after about the third Jay had no choice but to tap out. CHUCK TAYLOR 2-0JOHNNY GARGANO 1-1JAY LETHAL 1-1ZACK SABRE JR. 0-2Gargano really drew the short straw as he prepares for his third match in a row......JOHNNY GARGANO 4 beat ZACK SABRE JR. 5 by SUB /w/ Gargano Escape * Gargano wasted little time in putting the NWA WORLD TV CHAMPION in his painful submission. Taylor missed his second chance to win the bracket as Gargano reversed a deathjump straight into a Gargano Escape! Chuck was just about to give up when Lethal came off the top rope with a Hail To The King (DJ) right on Gargano. Jay then tossed him out of the ring and locked Taylor in the Koji Clutch.
