UBU rules as set by Will:
Some info for you guys, prior to Covid we were hovering between 30 and 32 members consistently. Since COVID and the fundraiser we are up to 47 members now. 45 domestic and 2 overseas. With so many new people in the group wanted to state some of the rules and guidelines of the UBU.
1) Once you are in this group, you are expected to participate in all Legends products.
Our math per set is based on total costs divided by total members, so to keep things moving properly you need to pay once payment is called for and price set. This is for our normal Legends 4-times per year sets and not any Indy or other special items.
2) We never approach a wrestler to have our bootleg card autographed.
Seems harmful enough right? but a couple of reasons I have is (1) Since our product looks so much like the official product we wouldn't want to piss off a wrestler that has said NO to FG Legends team in the past, have them think this was a card from the company and get Tom into trouble or even deal with the hassle. Could really hurt the chances of eventually getting that wrestler signed, as some have agreed after being asked multiple times. (2) If the Legends team is currently working on getting a wrestler signed and it is looking good moving forward we wouldn't want to have one of our cards pulled out asking for an autograph during the process.
A good alternative is to blow up the Artwork to 8x10 and have them sign that. Zeke and I have done this a few times with wrestlers. Remember we have had almost 20 wrestlers that we have done in this group, later get officially signed.
