All right, I was a bit negative before in that other thread, so now that I've reflected on my day some more, I figure I should give equal time to the positive things that occur. Today we got through a two-hour birthday party for my son (his actual birthday's tomorrow), with about 10 five- and six-year-olds, with an inflatable moon bounce thingy, and we all survived. No one got into a fight, no one was seriously injured (one girl bumped her head a bit but no tears), and my son thanked everybody mostly on his own. For a parent, it doesn't get much luckier than that. Okay, anyone else for the sunny side of life?

Oh OH, I do I DO!!!! After a lengthy run working on Second Shift (nights), I'm finally going to get to back to First Shift (days) on March 10. I'm looking forward to going back to days, so I can see some of the friends I haven't seen since I went back to nights 2 years ago. I really haven't had an "F-U" type a day for a long time, so I'm glad "Mr. Bean" started this topic!!! Kudos to you Mr. Bean! For that, I'll make sure Disaster doesn't give you a "RAMPAGE" at GCon! haha

Congrats Mark! Surviving your kid's birthday party is no easy feat. I have one coming up the end of March.
