The tree in front of my apartment always worries me, though likely it's more likely to hit the apartment above us. Glad no one was hurt, Mark.

Mark do you have a fire place if so you are set for next winter, plus if your fence is wood to burn that. Just make a fire pit in your backyard if you don't have a fire place. Hey you gotta look on the plus side of things.

We do have a fireplace but haven't used it much. The wood's nice and dry, too, so it'd be good for that.
Got most of the branches off myself last night just snapping them. Next comes the chainsaw!

Eh, it's no big deal as long as I get my chainsaw working. For some reason it won't start. Maybe it needs a new spark plug. But I've taken down an apple tree in our yard before, so I (think I) know what I'm doing. But thanks for the offer. Now, anyone know a good fence repair service?

BE CAREFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Every year over 40,000 people injure or kill themselves with chainsaws. If you catch the teeth in the wrong spot that thing will shoot back up and take your head and or balls off.
Maybe you should hire someone Mark...if you lose a hand who the hell is going to write POW.

Thank you for your concern, bro. I'm no expert, but this thing ought to really only take me about 15 minutes to do. I'm a DIY guy by nature. And my wife's paranoid enough for both of us in that regard. And I'll have my dad there as a spotter, more than likely.
And if I do cut off a hand, I'll just have to use one of those laser-eyeball keyboards that quadraplegics use. Nothing will stop me!
