It was real cool the way they put over Umaga tonight. He looked like the monster he used to be.
Any predictions for Money in the Bank? I'm thinking this year's MITB match could be the most star-laden one yet, as there are a lot of big-time guys that are not currently involved in major feuds.

Rumor is TGBITG Global Mod Mr. Vegas, who attended the event live, will have an exclusive report on the board soon.Oh yeah, I just got home not too long ago from attending No Way Out and I definitely want to talk about the incredibly fun time I had tonight as I thought No Way Out was awesome. The Smackdown elimination chamber match I really appreciated because I really like elimination chamber matches and this was the first one I ever got to see live. I thought Undertaker and Batista did a great job in this match by wrestling each other both at the beginning and at the end and even sort of working together at one point to eliminate Big Daddy V. One of my favorite moments in this match was when MVP tried to escape the Undertaker by crawling to the top of one of the pods only to be choke slammed by the Undertaker and pinned. It wasn't a surprise to me at all the Undertaker won this match and, although I again don't rank him among my favorite WWE wrestlers, I consider the Undertaker a good wrestler and I am looking forward to the upcoming Wrestlemania matchup between him and Edge where someone's Wrestlemania winning streak is going to end. This was also IMO a much better elimination chamber match than the last elimination chamber match the WWE had at that ECW December to Dismember PPV back in December of 2006. I also liked the Ric Flair-Kennedy match. It did seem sort of short but I think that's understandable with 2 elimination chamber matches on the card. I'm not sure if it was noticeable on TV or not but Lillian Garcia introduced this match and Kennedy gave his speech about getting out your cameras from the top of the ramp while the elimination chamber from the previous match was still down covering the ring which indicated to me they sort of had to hurry to get the PPV done on time so I don't fault the WWE at all for not having a longer match. But it really was great getting to see Ric Flair wrestle live one last time and his victory via his figure-four leglock is a good and appropriate tribute to wrestling history. The Edge vs Rey Mysterio match was good but also short. But again the WWE had time constraints working against it with the 2 elimination chamber matches (according to the clock on my cell phone- this PPV went almost completely up to the 3 hour time limit so there wasn;t much extra time) and also with Rey's recent injury, I can understand why this match wasn't longer. I was glad and a little surprised to see Big Show return tonight, although I knew he had recently resigned with the WWE. He looks in much better shape compared to when he was last in the WWE losing the ECW Championship to Bobby Lashley. The Mayweather-Big Show angle was incredibly well done (when I saw Mayweather sitting at ringside I guessed correctly he was going to get involved at some point on tonight's PPV). Watching it live from my seat just a few rows up from the center of the ring-I think at least some of those punches by Mayweather had to be legit. Although I didn't like the ending at all (but I am not surprised by it since it looks like they're setting up a RAW triple threat match for the WWE Championship at Wrestlemania 24), I really liked the Cena-Orton match. The last WWE live event here in Las Vegas was last summer prior to Summer Slam and the main event for that card was also John Cena vs Randy Orton and just like then the crowd to me seemed somewhat split between favoring Cena and favoring Orton- but I personally heard much more cheers than boos for Cena in the section (105) that I sat in tonight. Parts of this match were just awesome- I actually thought at first that Cena and Orton were going to get counted out but they just made it back into the ring in time. And there was another point when Cena had Orton in the STFU that I wasn't sure if Orton would reach the ropes or tap out. And then toward the end of the match it looked like Cena was about to get counted out again but just made it back into he ring- so there was lots of suspense in this match which had me standing on my feet the entire time. I didn't like the DQ ending where Orton punched the referee just after Cena made it back into the ring to beat the count out- but I feared something like that would happen tonight. And I honestly thought the RAW elimination match to end the show was among the best elimination chamber matches I've seen in recent years. It was cool that they didn't have their first elimination (JBL) until almost all the wrestlers had entered the chamber. And how sweet was that Samoan drop by Umaga against both HBK and Jericho at the same time? Umaga was pretty popular in Las Vegas and I saw a couple of people stand up and imitate that thumb sign he gives before spiking someone in the throat with that thumb. I wasn't surprised to see Triple H win but for awhile the match at the end actually had me thinking Jeff Hardy could possibly get the upset. This might actually have been the best match I've ever seen live. As I mentioned on another thread I also bought the new cool John Cena shirt patterned after that NES game because they had it available at the merchandise stand. The only bad experience I had tonight was the horrible traffic jam I got stuck in on my way to No Way Out. It was actually the worst traffic I've experienced in the 9 years I have lived in Las Vegas and it almost caused me to be late for the PPV. I had to park in an overflow lot, so after the show instead of going straight to my truck I went across the street to the Hardrock Casino for awhile until the traffic died down. But I made it to the show and had a great time tonight watching my first ever live WWE PPV. When this year's No Way Out becomes available on DVD, I'm going to buy it to help commemorate this awesome night.

One of my favorite moments from the Smackdown Elimination Chamber was MVP getting mugged by the Undertaker inside of his tiny personal chamber. I was laughing out loud.

Great report Mr. Vegas! Yeah, Umaga seemed to be pretty over with the crowd.
Very solid PPV. I agree with everyone's assessment. You knew when Big Show came out with Rey still at ringside that he would go heel at some point during the promo.
Mayweather vs. Show - Boxing Match at Mania. Book it.
Cena - Orton was awesome and they threw us all some curves with both guys running back in the ring at the count of 9 and Cena barely beating the count later.
One of my favorite moments was when Orton tells the ref, "COUNT ME OUT!"
Then, he gets the rKo on the floor. Brilliant writing there.
One of the best non-big 4 PPVs ever.

Thanks Payback. It's always fun going to see a live WWE event and it's even better when it's a PPV and yet even better when it's a good PPV like No Way Out turned out to be. But I can still only imagine how awesome it must be to go to a Wrestlemania like you, Swarm, Tournament Master, and others have been able to do. The WWE actually almost put Wrestlemania 24 in Las Vegas but at the last moment decided to do it in Orlando and reportedly gave us No Way Out instead as a small consolation. But the next time Wrestlemania is held anywhere out West, I've already made up my mind that I'm definitely going.
