The buzz: THIS IS THE BIG ONE! After 15 long fight cards on the injured list. Siege is back! And just in time as all hell has been breaking loose on Aethra ever since the Dark Menace was removed from power, and a search for a new Aethran Minister of War has been accelerated.

Siege, Apex, Fist & Storm have all thrown their respective hats into the mix to be the next MOW! Winning IMPOSSIBLE TOURNAMENT would definitely go a long way in proving who is most worthy.

On top of all of that, the Knights of Mourning counter the return of Siege by announcing a new member to the team. Who is the Mystery Entrant? Deva says her newest Knight is coming for Apex!

Murtak heads to the ring for our opener! But before his opponent can come out, Murtak is confronted by Storm!

Storm says she’s here to make a statement! Storm says she will prove worthy to be the next Aethran Minister of War by winning IMPOSSIBLE TOURNAMENT!

The Aethran crowd cheers the courageous Storm!

But Murtak just laughs. Murtak showers Storm with a series of inappropriate slurs referring to her gender, not supported by the GFITG, and will not be printed here. But it was pretty bad. Storm responds by challenging Murtak for his spot here tonight in the qualifying bracket!

Murtak: HA!

Murtak can barely contain himself at the thought of humiliating Storm on Aethra by proving he is too much man for her.

Murtak orders the referee to turn to the page in his official FG Ringside Companion to the Women’s Conversion Chart and says “Let’s do this, sister!”

* HelSin makes his return to the GWF as the main singles star on the Knights of Mourning, destroying Apex (5) w BURIAL.

It’s a stunning return for HelSin and an even more shocking L for Apex!

* the Basilisk (3) leaves Storm (10) a bloody mess after a frightening battle. Gaze of Stone knocks Storm down and she doesn’t get back up.

The buzz: Eugenics Project & the Natives of Castliex get the opportunity of a lifetime! One of them is going to IMPOSSIBLE TOURNAMENT!

QUALIFYING BRACKET 7/8: MASS, CRUST, KRUD & YGORR

Before the bracket can get started, the show is interrupted by two uninvited wrestlers - Workrate & Splash hit the ring in protest!

We haven’t seen either Workrate or Splash in awhile, and that is exactly what their protest is about. Workrate & Splash accuse Deva of black listing them. Workrate has been protesting Deva for awhile now, accusing her of sabotaging his matches with biased referees. Now Splash has joined Workrate in accusing Deva of holding him back too. Fans may remember when Splash turned down an offer to join the New Vibe, now his career in the the GWF is non-existent. Workrate & Splash cite the use of Mass, Crust, Ygorr & Krud as evidence to support their accusations.

But Deva doesn’t care. She has seen enough and orders her security team to escort Workrate & Splash from the arena.

After a brief delay, the bracket proceeds.

* Mass smooshes Ygorr (7) w head drop suplex.

* Crust defeats Krud (5)

* Mass (2) submits Krud (6) w Master Race Lock.

* Crust (1) pins Ygorr (1) w EUGENICS PROJECTILE.

* Ygorr beats Krud (4) in a battle for third and fourth place.

It comes down to Mass vs Crust!

* Mass never quite figured out that this is a real match, playing with Crust and taking little damage, but doing none either. Eventually Crust hits Mass w a low blow and he crumbles to the mat in a heap.

THE VISITOR

Location: An unknown city on Kroll.

The camera pans to a busy street and the entrance to a large building. The feet of hundreds of humanoids can be seen exiting and entering the sliding front doors.

Somebody wearing pair of cowboy boots enters the frame. They stand idly as people continue to commute in and out of the building.

The camera pans up to reveal Kroll Memorial Hospital, located on the West side of the Matrix district, and the identity of the visitor.

Shayne enters the hospital.

THE VISITOR
Part 2

Location: A private hospital room in a classified location at Kroll Memorial Hospital. The entire floor is under immense security and there is only one patient. All of the other rooms on the floor are empty.

The Dark Menace lays motionless in his hospital bed, badly injured and barely alive after the beating inflicted upon him by MONOLITH. He takes heavy breaths in and out on a ventilator. He cannot speak, and communicates using a telepathic monitor system.

After clearing multiple checkpoints, Kroll security allow Shayne to enter the Dark Menace’s room. Two guards remain in the room while four others return to their posts at the door.

The room is dark, with the only light coming from orange electricity flowing from the Dark Menace’s communicator.

The Dark Menace remains still, only listening.

Shayne pulls out a bag of fresh tobacco, some papers, and rolls himself up a smoke. He lights the cigarette, takes a drag, and speaks.

Shayne: Got your offer.

Shayne pauses, and takes another drag from his cigarette. He blows the smoke in the opposite direction of the Dark Menace and continues to speak.

Shayne: Looks pretty good.

Shayne presses a button on his wrist communicator, opening a 3D image of the contract he received from the Dark Menace. A list of promises appears, and Shayne reads them off one by one.

Shayne: Three-time Impossible Tournament winner, tying Monolith’s record. First back-to-back winner in IT history. And best of all, I get my belt back.

Shayne takes another drag from his cigarette.

Shayne: And all I have to do for all of that to be mine - is trust you.

The Dark Menace remains still, his ventilator making hissing sounds with every heavy breath.

Shayne tosses his cigarette to the ground and puts it out with the heel of his cowboy boot.

Shayne: So what’s in it for you?

The Dark Menace responds, using his telepathic communication device. A single word appears on a screen moments after the Dark Menace sends his thoughts through his machine.

The Dark Menace: Revenge.
