Scene: Commissioner Massif is holding a press conference on Aethra, site of the next GWF WarZone show.
Massif: We are pleased to be returning to Aethra, site of many zealous GWF fans. Since the show will be taking place here on Aethra, I have scheduled three title matches featuring your home stars. Tag Champs Havoc & Paralyze will defend their belts against the former champions, the Ani-Men Invasion. GWF Women’s Champion Thrash is going to battle Latasha. And Steele Freak, the United Stars Champion, is going to compete against a surprise Aethran challenger. Other matches will be announced soon.
Sly Drury walks out and grabs the mic away from the Commissioner.
Sly Drury: Wait a minute. We’re going to hold this show on Aethra, and Disaster, the GWF Champion, who happens to hail from Aethra, isn’t even going to appear?
Massif: You know full well that Disaster is injured.
Sly Drury: I thought Aethrans were supposed to so big and strong. Disaster is going to let a little injury hold him back from competing in from of his home crowd, is he? Well, I’m not going to give him the chance to wimp out. Massif, you yourself said that if I were to defeat Disaster in our non-title, Barbed Wire Cosmic Cage Match, that I would get my title match, in the special match of my choice. Well, that’s exactly what I’m doing. Disaster will face me for the Galactic Title in front of his home crowd…in a Circinus Cell Match!
Massif: Pretty brave of you, considering Disaster is injured.
Sly Drury: That is no concern of mine. You just make sure the champ shows up.
Suddenly, a commotion erupts amongst the Aethran onlookers, as Disaster, slightly limping and with a bandaged forehead, emerges from the crowd and heads straight for Sly Drury. Drury, sensing the imminent confrontation with the champ, as well as from the Aethran crowd, quickly ducks out the exit.
Disaster walks to the podium and grabs the mic.
Disaster: Drury, don’t worry I’ll be here. The only question is, will you leave Aethra alive?

NB Card 45 - GWF WARZONE Aethra War Dome, Aethra
Payback pinned Scimitar with a suicide moonsault - Pretty easy win for Payback here. (2 stars)
Valour took out his inner 'rage' on Tanck - WARRIOR'S RAGE gives Valour the win over the strongman. (1.5 stars)
Swarm dealt Tricks his first GWF loss - Swarm put his nemesis down for the first time, using HORNET'S STING for the win. (1.5 stars)
A 10-minute video tribute to the GWF’s former Aethran stars is shown. At the conclusion of the presentation, Sly Drury comes out. Drury, who is carrying a big duffel bag, enters the ring. He sets down the bag and mockingly applauds the video for a good 30 seconds before grabbing a microphone.
Sly Drury: These are your heroes? A bunch of steroid-filled freaks with spiked collars that know about three wrestling holds combined? I mean, these are the feared and powerful Aethrans that dominated the GWF? If I had been born 20 years earlier I would have totally dominated wrestling. Those bums had nothing. A few muscles, no brains, no wrestling skill. The current crop of Gladiators isn’t much better. I’ve proven that Disaster isn’t the monster he proclaims himself to be, and tonight, I’m going to take his Galactic Title away in front of his pathetic home fans.
Drury opens up the duffel bag and pulls out a replica Aethran Casque. He puts it on his head and briefly parades around the ring, again mocking Aethran tradition.
Sly Drury: The Aethran Casque, what a silly little honor. Here’s what I think of the Aethran Casque, and here’s what I think about you pathetic idiots from Aethra.
Drury rips off the replica helmet and slams it onto the mat and repeatedly stomps on it, breaking it into pieces. Suddenly, Spike and Thunder appear out of the crowd and charge the ring! The two men deliver a double clothesline to Drury, who then quickly rolls out of the ring before setting the galactic 100-meter dash record in his retreat to the locker room.
Thrash defeated Latasha to retain the Women's Title - Pretty solid match for the females here, with Thrash using a Gladiator Piledriver for the win. (3 stars)
GWF legend Thunder returns to the ring.
Thunder: Tonight, a new Aethran will be unleashed upon the galaxy. After months of training, he is now ready to make his debut in a GWF ring. He’ll continue to train here on Aethra and make occasional appearances in the GWF, but tonight, in his first match, he’s going to face United Stars Champion Steele Freak. Aethran faithful, I present to you…RUSH!
United Stars Champion Steele Freak flattened Rush - The Aethran-in-training got zero offense in against the experienced champ. After a throat catapult on the ropes, Freak got the easy 1-2-3. Pretty disappointing debut for Rush in front of the home crowd. (1 star)
Tag Champs Haoc & Paralyze defeated former champs Ani-Men Invasion - Havoc takes down Antak with FALLEN DREAMS to retain. (1.5 stars)
Aethran Ultimate Escape Match Bloodline/Endgame/Tauran/Anivar vs. Epoch/Encubus/Nosfera/Slave Beast - Encubus escaped from Bloodline after SECOND COMING - Endgame over Nosfera after a missed deathjump - Tauran from Nosfera via TAURAN SHARPSHOOTER - Epoch over Anivar with backbreaker rack - Nosfera escaped from Anivar after SPRING HEEL KICK - Slave Beast resists two COSMIC BIG BANGS, then escapes from Bloodline after CRY OF THE BEAST. Winners: Central Command (4.5 stars)
VidCam: Vidtek corners Sly Drury in the back.
Vidtek: Are you sure it was wise to give that little speech earlier?
Sly Drury: Sly Drury is always wise! The Aethrans are pathetic; they let the emotion of anger overcome them. Did you see how upset I made those old geezers Spike and Thunder? Hahaha, Disaster is already injured from the beat down I gave him last week. Now rage will cloud his thoughts even more. They might as well give the title to me right now!
Sly Drury became the new Galactic Champion by defeating Disaster in a Circinus Cell Match! - Great back and forth action, with both men hitting some high spots. Disaster injury showed, though, as he just wasn't as agile as usual. Drury used that to his advantage, and hit LAST CALL for the pin. (4 stars)
As the Cell is raised, the referee hands Drury the title belt. Drury dances around the ring, holding the belt aloft, once again mocking the Aethran crowd. A hulking figure then appears in the aisle holding a steel chair aloft, masking his face. The huge man enters the ring, while Drury, still celebrating his victory, is none the wiser. When Drury finally turns around, he is met with one of the most wicked chair shots in GWF history. The man then turns around and the camera zooms in on his face to reveal…..OVERKILL!!!!
Overkill then picks up the unconscious body of the new GWF Champ and carries him not just to the locker room, but right out of the arena!

Scene: Epoch and Encubus are talking somewhere on Pavo.
Encubus: Have you heard from Drury at all?
Epoch: Nope.
Encubus: Are you worried at all?
Epoch: Nope.
Encubus: How come?
Epoch: Drury’s problem with the Aethrans is his own doing. If he would have stuck to our master plan, this never would have happened.
Encubus: Well, he did beat Disaster to win the title.
Epoch: True. But now his disappearance is getting in the way of our main objective to take over the GWF. It was stupid for him to give his little speech about the Gladiators in front of their home crowd. What happened serves him right. That’s why I brought in the Master Race and signed Kill Prey, to take care of the Gladiators. Encubus: So what do we do now?
Epoch: Nothing. We are still focused on destroying the FDF. Drury better still be focused on that goal, plus he has the Aethrans to worry about. He better be able to handle it or he won’t serve our purpose much longer…

NB Card 47 - GWF WARZONE GWF Lunar Arena, Earth's Moon

Master Race beat former tag champs Ani Men Invasion - Antak took some punishment before a rolling knee bar from Zygon proved to be too much. (2 stars)
Commissioner Massif comes down to the ring.
Massif: It’s time for me to reveal the location of our next GWF spectacular pay-per-view, COSMIC CLASH! Based on the success of a recent card held on this asteroid – and as a special “present” to our new GWF Champion Sly Drury – it gives me great pleasure to announce that COSMIC CLASH will take place at the Warrior Village Coliseum on Aethra! (crowd explodes) Now, since Sly Drury hasn’t been heard from since his little performance last week on Aethra, I can’t make an announcement at this time regarding a main event. I’ll address the main event next week, assuming Drury shows up for WarZone. If he fails to show up next week, the title will be vacated. Now, there are a few matches I can announce for COSMIC CLASH. First, next week on WarZone, we’ll have a women’s battle royal, with the winner getting a shot at Thrash on the PPV. Since they’ve put on two great matches recently, Titan Glory will meet the Troubleshooters. Plus, Havoc & Paralyze will defend their tag team titles against the Master Race. That’s all I’ve got for now. More to be announced next week!
Epoch scored a win over Tauran - The evil mastermind climbed to the top rop and hit a cross body block on the Equuleus native. (3 stars)
Valour retained the Inter-Planetary Title by pinning Kill Prey- The new champ impressed in a match that featured a good amount of outside the ring activity. Valour gets the win via a tombstone side power bomb. (3 stars)
~After the match, Shann Ra nails Valour from behind with a chair. As she is about to hit Valour a second time, Lorelei runs out and grabs the chair! As the four stare each other down, The Gatekeeper runs into the ring and starts exchanging punches with Valour. Kill Prey and Shann Ra exit the ring, while Lorelei watches from the corner, as security pull the two men apart!
Endgame beat Nosfera by DQ - Nosfera loses control outside the ring, leading to the disqualification. (1.5 stars)
Havoc & Paralyze defeated Stars & Stripes in defense of the Galactic Tag Team Titles - The Gladiators made quick work of American Guy & U.S. Male, as Havoc sprung off the ropes with a cross body block on American Guy to get the pin. (2 stars)

Women's Battle Royal - Order of elimination: Shann Ra (by She Devil), Rotunda (by Lorelei/She Devil), Phantasy (by Latasha), Lorelei (by Latasha), She-Devil (by Latasha). Winner: Latasha
Amazing Tricks defeated Ani Men Invasion - In their first tag match together, Tricks and Amazing Mann perform well, knocking off the former tag champs rather easily. (1.5 stars)
Encubus topped Switchblade - Switchblade taps to the MAFFEI MASTERLOCK. (1.5 stars)
Scimitar walks into Massif's office.
Scimitar: I want an Inter-Planetary Title match with Valour tonight.
Massif: Huh? You've never even won a match in the GWF!
Scimitar: It's not my fault everybody cheats. I'm a great performer, I deserve a title shot!
Massif: You deserve a chair shot perhaps, but certainly not a title shot. However, I'll give you a match tonight, and if by some miracle you win, you get an IP title match on the next WarZone. So, tonight, you get to face Swarm!
Scimitar: What? No, er...wait, I want Valour.
Massif: Tough luck, knife-man, the match is made.
Havoc defeated Thraxx by count-out - Very solid singles match put on by the tag specialists. Thraxx can't meet the 10-count, giving the Aethran the win. (3.5 stars)
Swarm beat Scimitar by DQ - Swarm hits his second HORNET'S STING and has the match won, when Tricks runs out and attacks him! (1.5 stars)
Paralyze pinned Zygon - Zygon falls victim to High Tension. (2 stars)
Bloodline took down The Gatekeeper - Gatekeeper starts off on fire, but Bloodline's experience soon turned the tide. The COSMIC BIG BANG resulted in the pin. (2.5 stars)
As The Gatekeeper is headed back to the dressing room, he is blindsided by Valour! The two men brawl, before security pulls them apart, as Lorelei watches from the background.
Steele Freak defeated Payback to retain the United Stars Title - A solid match sees the champ use FRENZIED HEAD SLAMS to score the win. (3 stars)
Epoch beat Tauran - THE DARK AGE proves too much for the former Galactic Champ. (3 stars)
Massif enters the ring.
Massif: It's time for me to announce more matches for COSMIC CLASH, which is being held at the Warrior Village Coliseum on Aethra. In addition to the matched announced on the last show, I've got 6 more to reveal. First, obviously with her win in the battle royal earlier tonight, Latasha gets to face Thrash for the Women's Title. Plus:
- The Inter-Planetary Title will be defended in a Tirion Triple Threat Match, with Valour facing the challenge of both Kill Prey and The Gatekeeper.
- Aethran youngster Rush will get back in a GWF ring to meet Tanck.
- In a big tag team encounter, Bloodline and Tauran team up to meet Epoch and Encubus.
- Since they put on a solid match a little while ago, I've decided to give Payback another shot at the United Stars Title, this time in a Cosmic Cage!
- And we'll have two more special matches: Swarm vs. Tricks in a Pictor Four Corners Match and Nosfera vs. Endgame in an Earth Ladder Match.
However, since there's been no sign of Sly Drury yet, I have no announcement at this time regarding the Galactic Title.
Kill Prey stunned Disaster - Unable to make it a clean sweep for the Gladiators on the night, Disaster delivers a disappointing performance on the heels of the PPV, with Kill Prey scoring an astronomically huge win over the ex-Galactic Champion. (2 stars)
VidCam: Massif's office
There's a knock on the door. Massif opens it, and a delivery man wheels in a large crate. A puzzled Massif hears a muffled noise from inside the crate. He leaves his office, and returns a minute later with a crowbar. After prying off one side of the crate, a semi-conscious Sly Drury is seen inside! Massif removes Drury from the crate, and notices a message painted on bottom - "Don't f*#@ with the Gladiators!"
Massif smiles and says, "Well Drury, since you showed up tonight, I guess I can announce the main event for COSMIC CLASH. It'll be you, the Galactic Champion Sly Drury, in front of your enormous Aethran following, meeting Disaster. But this won't just be any old match, the two of you will meet inside the Torture Chamber!"
A look of horror emerges on Drury's face as the show goes off the air!

VidCam: Massif’s office on Deimos, two days before COSMIC CLASH.
Sly Drury bursts into the Commissioner’s office.
Massif: What do you want?
Sly Drury: What do you mean, what do I want? Are you going to do something about what the Gladiators did to me?
Massif: What did they do to you?
Sly Drury: Don’t play dumb with me, although I’m sure you’re good at it. You saw Overkill kidnap me. He held me against my will for two weeks. That beast kept me from defending my Galactic Title in front on all my wonderful fans. Then the big oaf stuffed me in that crate and had me delivered to your office.
Massif: You want me to believe that Overkill kidnapped you?
Sly Drury: You saw him do it!
Massif: No. I saw him carry you out of the arena. I have no idea what happened after that.
Sly Drury: I just told you! I was held against my will by those Aethran freaks!
Massif: So I assume you pressed charges, correct?
Sly Drury: Of course not! You really think the Aethran police would come to my aid?
Massif: I have no idea.
Sly Drury: Well, they wouldn’t, I’m sure. I’m telling you Massif, they kidnapped me. I’ve barely begun to regain my strength. There’s no way I can compete at Cosmic Clash.
Massif: Ahh…so that’s what this is about? You’re making up this ridiculous kidnapping story to get out of your Torture Chamber encounter with Disaster.
Sly Drury: No. I’ve proven I can more than handle Disaster. I can’t believe that a man in your position is actually condoning kidnapping!
Massif: I do not condone kidnapping.
Sly Drury: Well it certainly seems like it. Overkill kidnaps me right in front of your eyes and you do nothing about it.
Massif: I have no evidence that any such crime took place.
Sly Drury: You saw him carry me out of the arena!
Massif: But I do not know what became of you after that. He could have transported you home to Maffei II for all I know.
Sly Drury: So how do you explain how I ended up in a crate in your office? Do you think I did that myself?
Massif: Maybe.
Sly Drury: Are you freaking serious? You must be the dumbest person alive!!!
Massif: It looks like you’re getting your strength back. It takes a good deal of energy to get this upset and yell at me this loudly.
Sly Drury: You’re impossible!!!
With that, Drury storms out of Massif’s office and slams the door so violently it gets knocked off its hinges.
