~ Tanck engages in a cocky celebration of his victory over Rush, when Thunder runs out and interrupts, hitting THE TEMPEST on the strongman, injuring him for 1 card!


Titan Glory fell to The Troubleshooters
- Squash win for Muss and The Bomb, as they use TROUBLE TIMES TWO to put down Reckless. (1.5 stars)

Steele Freak retained the United Stars Title by topping Payback in a Cosmic Cage Match
- Solid bout again between the two. Freak escapes the cage after a bulldog. (3.5 stars)


VidCam: Vidtek is in the locker room area trying get an interview with the Gladiators.

Vidtek: Hey, everyone, Vidtek here, reporting from the Gladiators locker room area. I’m going to find out exactly what Overkill did, if anything, to Sly Drury over the past few weeks, and see how Disaster is feeling before his big match tonight. Plus, I want to ask Thunder about his protégé Rush, who is now 0-2 in the GWF.

Thunder walks past, talking to Spike, the Aethran Minister of War.

Vidtek: Thunder, got a minute?

Thunder: Less than that for you.

Vidtek: Well, then I guess I’ll make it quick. Do you think Rush is really ready for the GWF? Perhaps he should be training with the GWFZ to help prepare him, especially since it appears the GWFZ will become an actual wrestling federation soon, instead of just a training facility.

Thunder: How dare you question how we prepare Aethrans for combat in the GWF. Rush’s preparation on Aethra is far more advanced than any that Star Warrior or any other GWF has-been could give him in the GWFZ. But, since you mentioned it, yes there are plans for Rush to make an appearance in the GWFZ once the actual wrestling matches begin. Rush won’t be there to train, he’ll be there to dominate.

Vidtek: At what point does Rush enter the GWF full-time?

Thunder: Silence! I’ve told you enough already.

Thunder walks away. Shortly thereafter, the locker room door opens and Disaster walks out.

Vidtek: Disaster! How do you feel about your match in the Torture Chamber with Sly Drury tonight?

Disaster: How do I feel? (laughing) Tonight, I truly represent the feelings of all Aethrans when I not only beat Drury, but destroy and humiliate him.

Vidtek: What about Kill Prey? He scored a pretty big win over you last week.

Disaster: Tonight I take care of Sly Drury. Afterwards, I’ll deal with Kill Prey.

Disaster takes off, shoving the VidCam out of his way as he leaves.

Vidtek: I’ve got one more person to find, Overkill. Don’t worry GWF fans, I’ll get the story straight from his mouth!


Bloodline & Tauran defeated Encubus & Epoch
- Quick match, with Encubus tapping to the TAURAN SHARPSHOOTER. (1.5 stars)

Thrash pinned Latasha to retain the Women's Title
- Outstanding match between the two. Thrash hits FEMME FATAL for the win. (4.5 stars)

In a Tirion Triple Threat Match for the Inter-Planetary Title, Valour pinned The Gatekeeper
- Match of the year candidate, as both Kill Prey and The Gatekeeper took turns hammering Valour. It proved to be a lengthy back and forth match, with both Lorelei getting involved in defense of Valour and Shann Ra for Kill Prey. Finish saw Valour have a VIOLENT OUTBURST on The Gatekeeper for the 1-2-3. (5 stars)


VidCam: Vidtek has tracked down Overkill.

Vidtek: Overkill, the galaxy’s dying to know what really happened between you and Sly Drury? Did you really kidnap him like he’s claiming?

Overkill: Hahaha. Like I wanted to take care of Drury for a couple of weeks. Of course I didn’t kidnap him. I carried him out of that arena and sent him on the first cruiser off of Aethra. I did him a favor really. He would have been beaten down by the entire crowd.

Vidtek: So why is he saying you kidnapped him?

Overkill: What is he going to say? That he was too chicken to make an appearance anywhere near Disaster? He hid at home for two full weeks. I finally went myself to Maffei II to try and “reason” with him. OK, I guess you could say I kidnapped him; at least long enough to drag him to WarZone last week.

Vidtek: So you stuffed him in a crate and had him delivered to Massif?

Overkill: Seemed like the right thing to do. Otherwise he might never have shown his face again.


Nosfera stunned Endgame in an Earth Ladder Match
- The evil demon controls much of the action before hitting Panic in the Streets and climbing the ladder for the victory. (2.5 stars)

Swarm put down Tricks in a Pictor Four Corners Match
- Swarm survived a ton of punishment from the clown, while Tricks endured a great deal of his own. After an Andromeda Drop, Swarm successfully dragged Tricks to each corner to gain a hard fought win. (4.5 stars)

The Master Race shock the Aethran crowd by snatching the tag team titles from Havoc & Paralyze
- Thraxx wore down Paralyze early in the match, then Zygon did the same to Havoc, using the TRI CLAW to get the win and the belts. (4 stars)

Sly Drury completely shocks Aethra, and the entire Milky Way, by defeating Disaster in a Torture Chamber to retain the Galactic Title
- This might be the match of the decade, much less the match of the year. Sly Drury went right on the attack early on, stunning Disaster with a powerful offense. The Aethran hit back, and hard, knocking the champ around the ring. Drury, however, persevered, and with both men a bloody mess, he smashed Disaster's face into the titanium, knocking the Gladiator out and scoring an absolutely incredible victory in front of Disaster's home crowd. (5 stars)

~ The Aethran fans boo mercilessly, not at Drury, but at the dismal performance of their home wrestlers as the PPV goes off the air...

VidCam: Epoch, Encubus and Sly Drury are engaged in conversation in a murky room in the bowels of Sirius’ Dogstar Superstructure, two hours prior to WarZone.

Epoch: I must admit Drury, I underestimated you. I thought you had lost your focus, but instead you took care of Disaster. Very impressive.

Sly Drury: Thank you. I knew what I was doing all along. I have proven myself as the top star of the GWF.

Encubus: Hey, wait; I beat Switchblade on the last WarZone.

Sly Drury: Congratulations. He’s what, 60 years old now? That’s like beating your old man.

Encubus: You leave my father out of this!

Epoch: Easy guys. We’ve got matches tonight to worry about. Drury is going to demolish Tauran. Encubus, you need to beat down Anivar. And me (Epoch laughs), I’ve got plans for Bloodline.

Encubus: Why do I have to face that jobber Anivar? I’m the singles star of this team.

Sly Drury (shining up his belt): This proves otherwise. I’m the star of the team.

Epoch: Enough! Let’s keep our eyes on the FDF. Encubus, the fact is Drury is the GWF Champ. I know I promised you top spot on the team, but he went out and took it. For right now, you’re just going to have to deal with it.

Encubus: I don’t have to deal with anything, dammit! You made a promise to me. I should be GWF champion. I’m a better wrestler than Drury is. I’m a better everything than he is.

Sly Drury begin to take a step toward Encubus, when Epoch jumps in between them.

Epoch: You both better get your heads on straight. We’ll settle this later. For now, we’ve got matches to prepare for.

NB Card 52 - GWF WARZONE
Dogstar Superstructure; Sirius, Canis Major

Slave Beast squashed Switchblade
- Surprisingly easy victory, as Slave Beast takes it with CRY OF THE BEAST. (1 star)

Shann Ra pinned She Devil
- Kill Prey's sis chopped down She Devil with MACHETE. (3.5 stars)

Encubus defeated Anivar
- Thantos' son uses a Satanic Skull Smasher to score the pinfall. (2.5 stars)

Stars & Stripes scored the win over Amazing Tricks
- An excellent tag team match, with tons of quick tags and exciting action. Great teamwork shown by Amazing Mann and Tricks, despite this being only their second match together. In the end, experience won out, with a Double Roundhouse Kick felling Amazing Mann. (4.5 stars)

Kill Prey pinned Payback
- An AMBUSH! did the trick for Kill Prey. (3 stars)

Bloodline defeated Epoch by DQ
- Very solid back and forth match between the two. Bloodline looks to have it won when Slave Beast, Nosfera and Sly Drury storm the ring and attack Bloodline, prompting Anivar, Tauran, Switchblade and Endgame to run out and make the save. Interesting to note that Encubus was nowhere to be found in this encounter. (4 stars)


Aethra Minister of War Spike is standing in the ring, surrounded by Gladiator legends Brute, Overkill, Thunder and Malice.

Spike: What we saw the other night at Cosmic Clash, the performance of the so-called Gladiators, was pathetic and embarrassing. All of Aethra hated Sly Drury after the comments he made, but to his credit, he went out and backed up his mouth, while Disaster choked. These men behind me, they’re legends. Never in our careers did we take a night off. That despicable performance by Disaster, Havoc and Paralyze sickened me, sickened all of us.

Disaster, Havoc and Paralyze appear in the entryway.

Spike: I can’t believe the three of you can even show your faces in our presence. You should all be ashamed of yourselves. You didn’t represent Aethra; you let us down, you let yourselves down, you let the Aethran people down. It’s time for you to get back to your head-banging Aethran roots. Maybe Brute needs to come back and babysit you. One thing I know for sure: if you don’t get your act together, I’ll call you back to Aethra and find another crop of wrestlers who have what it takes to represent Aethra in the GWF.

The three current Gladiators look somewhat ashamed as they walk to the back.


The Master Race retained the tag belts by beating The Troubleshooters
- Very good first defense for Thraxx and Zygon against former champions Muss and The Bomb. Thraxx scores the pin after the POWER OF KRULL. (3.5 stars)

Galactic Champion Sly Drury hammered Tauran
- Dominating performance by the champion here. Drury takes the win with the Knife Edge Attack in a quick match. (1.5 stars)

- Plethador topped Scimitar via count-out (2.5 stars)

Earlier today, Massif and Star Warrior made a joint annoucement on Cetus officially announcing the launch of GWFZ wrestling. The GWFZ has served as a training facility for future GWF stars for the past year and a half. Now the GWFZ will also operate as a wrestling promotion, where up and coming wrestlers, along with a core of veterans, will travel the galaxy to showcase their talents.

The first card will be dedicated to crowning the GWFZ Champion. 16 men will compete in a single elimination tournament:

Mimas Spectrum, Saturn

Kill Prey handled Plethador
- Once the Ani-Man became dehydrated, it became squash city. Kill Prey takes it with the Venatic Knee Breaker. (2 stars)

Steele Freak successfully defended the United Stars Title against Anivar
- Freak gets the pin with a cross body block. (3 stars)

Swarm dumped Tricks
- Another win for Swarm over his enemy, this time using the Andromeda drop to score the pin. (2 stars)

Encubus pinned Tauran
- Encubus dominated the match, taking the victory with SECOND COMING. (1.5 stars)

In 6-man tag action, Team CTA-102 defeated the Fighting Titans
- CTA-102 carried most of the match. Gryt used a Gryt Skullcrusher to pin Tristan for the win. (2 stars)


Broadcasters DragonMaster and Vanity announced that the upcoming SOLAR FLARE PPV will be held at Earth's Niagara Tower of Lights. Among the matches will be the Gladiators vs. Eugenics in an Aethran Ultimate Escape Match!


Bloodline defeated Nosfera with the COSMIC BIG BANG
- Short match here, not a good performance by the demon. (2 stars)

The Master Race retained the Galactic Tag Team Titles over Stars & Stripes
- Thraxx and Zygon were never in danger of relinquishing the belts, as they easily take care of American Guy & U.S. Male. POWER OF KRULL on U.S. Male takes care of the challengers. (1.5 stars)

Sly Drury & Epoch defeated Endgame & Switchblade
- Sly Drury gets the win for Central Command, using LAST CALL on Switchblade for the 1-2-3. (2 stars)

~ Slave Beast jumps into the ring and helps Epoch and Drury attack Endgame and Switchblade. Nosfera then comes down to help. Tauran, Anivar and Bloodline run out to make the save. Finally, Encubus makes his way down to ringside. However, instead of entering the ring, he stands outside of it and watches as the FDF fight off the bad guys. Finally, Epoch and company bail out of the ring. Epoch storms over to Encubus and gets in his face as the show goes off the air!

VidCam: Encubus walks into Commissioner Massif’s office.

Massif: What do you want?

Encubus: Believe it or not, the same thing you want.

Massif: Huh?

Encubus: You don’t have an opponent for Sly Drury at Solar Flare yet.

Massif: True.

Encubus: Well, here I am.

Massif: You?

Encubus: Yes, me.

Massif: You want to challenge a member of your own team? Have you run this by Epoch yet?

Encubus: What Epoch thinks is no longer of any consequence to me. He lied to me, just like my father has lied to me my whole life. Epoch can go to hell.

Massif: Hmm…interesting.

Encubus: So you see, we both want the same thing. You’re no fan of Drury or Epoch. This is the perfect scenario.

Massif: While I do like the idea, I have to be fair about this, so I’ll tell you what. I’ll give you a match against another GWF superstar tonight; if you win, you’ve got the shot against Sly Drury.

Encubus: Fair enough.


Gatekeeper vs. Plethador
- Gatekeeper gets the win, using CLOSING OF THE GATE on the dehydrated Ani-Man for the win. (** 1/2)

- Solid match between the two ladies. Latasha takes the victory with FREEDOM FALL. (***)

- Pretty quick match, with the lack of teamwork between Tanck and Gryt evident. A botched pin save, led to Tristan delivering a noggin knocker on the CTA-102 representatives for the pin. (* 1/2)

VidCam: Vidtek gets an interview with Epoch.

Vidtek: What do you think about Encubus asking Massif for a shot at Sly Drury?

Epoch: Encubus just signed his death warrant. I gave him everything: confidence, money, opportunity, the top spot on my team, but he threw it away.

Vidtek: Who will Massif send out to the ring against him tonight?

Epoch: Encubus doesn’t deserve a title shot no matter what. My guess is it’ll be Bloodline out there to face Encubus. But regardless, he doesn’t deserve the title shot, so I’ll be around to ensure that Encubus doesn’t win his match.

Vidtek: So you’ll be at ringside? You plan to interfere on behalf of Encubus’ opponent? You think Massif will allow that?

Epoch: Massif can do nothing to stop me.

Vidtek: It wasn’t that long ago that you trusted Encubus fully, and didn’t trust Sly Drury at all. What changed?

Epoch: Drury proved himself to worthy by repeatedly beating Disaster. I admit, I underestimated Drury and I overestimated Encubus. But no worries, the plans of Central Command and the Eugenics Project have not been disturbed.


Kill Prey vs. Tauran
- Squash time here. Kill Prey hits AMBUSH! on a struggling Tauran. (* 1/2)

- Anivar puts up a good fight, put Epoch proved too much for the young FDF'er. (***)

Valour (c) vs. Betrayer
- Valour absorbs a ton of abuse from The Betrayer, who just couldn't put away the champ. Valour has a VIOLENT OUTBURST, and the ref rings the bell on a DQ. (*** 1/2)

Endgame vs. Nosfera
- Endgame avenges a recent loss to Nosfera, and in quick and easy fashion, pinning his rival after the ULTIMA LEAP. (* 1/2)

Galactic Tag Team Title Match
Master Race (c) vs. Ani-Men Invasion
- Good, solid tag team match. Zygon takes some abuse, as Antak and Minotaur make quick tags. Minotaur surprises Zygon with the AniMan Neck Snap, and Thraxx can't make the save in time. (***)

Commissioner Massif walks down to the ring and introduces Encubus, who makes his way down as well.

Massif: Now, Encubus, I promised you that if you win this match, you would get a shot at Sly Drury and the Galactic Title.

Epoch and Slave Beast appear and walk down to ringside.

Massif: Again, in order to be fair, and so as to not upset Epoch here, I have selected a high quality opponent for you. If you fail to win this match, you will not get your title shot. Good luck, and Epoch, I’ll be staying down at ringside to keep an eye on you.

Vin Strutter then appears in the entryway, leading out Encubus’ opponent…SCIMITAR!!!

Epoch is beside himself at ringside, as the match gets underway!

- The match was over in three moves, with Encubus hitting SECOND COMING on a stunned Scimitar for the win. (*)
~ Epoch and Slave Beast start to enter the ring, when Massif jumps in front of them, holding a steel chair! After a brief staredown, the two retreat to the locker room.

Galactic Title Match
Sly Drury (c) vs. Swarm
- Great match, with champ and challenger trading blows back and forth. Slave Beast gives it his all on Drury's behalf, hammering Swarm on the outside and preventing a pin attempt. However, he couldn't manage to distract the ref after Swarm hit the HORNET'S STING, and She Devil's man scores the pin to become the new Galactic Champ! (****)

- Dark Star Creature squashed Cuddley Claw with a powerbomb (*)

- Pride "Bazzy-ed" Dr. Payne, sinking in PRIDE AND PREJUDICE and forcing the doc to tap in 10 seconds (*)

- Hegemony pinned The Legacy with MAINSTREAM (*** 1/2)

- Nightmare Nikki defeated Sabre via Fall from Heaven (** 1/2)

- Ensor failed to get revenge on Surgeon, as the young Martian falls victim to FINAL CUT (***)
