NB Card 64 - GWF WARZONE Fire Island, Mercury
VidCam: Vidtek is running down the hallway inside the arena, when he stops outside Massif’s office.
Vidtek: A very upset Tauran just stormed into Massif’s office. If I can maneuver the VidCam in there, we’ll get to see what he has to say.
After ten seconds or so, the VidCam focuses in on Massif and Tauran.
Tauran: I’m telling you, there’s no way I’m teaming up with Epoch tonight! You saw what he did to me the other night. You didn’t even suspend him.
Massif: Yes, I saw what he did, but it certainly wasn’t worthy of a suspension. Besides Lord Nexus took care of him, so stop whining.
Tauran: I’m still not teaming up with him.
Massif: Fine. I can deal with that. Here’s what will happen instead. You and Epoch will face each other one-on-one, with nobody allowed at ringside. Winner gets a new partner later tonight to face The Troubleshooters. And since the fans seem to enjoy the “lethal lottery” style of selecting a partner, we’ll do that again for the winner. Anyone interfering in either match, or anyone laying a hand on their partner, will be suspended for the rest of 2120. Got it?
Tauran: Yes. That is fair. Thank you.
Massif: Now get down to the ring, you and Epoch are up first.
Tauran vs. Epoch - Epoch gets the win via THE DARK AGE, and, along with a new surprise partner, will meet The Troubleshooters later tonight. (** 1/2) Winner: Epoch
Disaster vs. Scimitar - The expected squash lasted all of two moves. Disaster used RAMPAGE to demolish Scimitar. (*) Winner: Disaster

Bloodline vs. Amazing Mann - Quick win for Bloodline, as he hits the COSMIC BIG BANG early. (* 1/2) Winner: Bloodline
Encubus vs. Slave Beast - Encubus quickly locks in the MAFFEI MASTERLOCK, forcing his former teammate to tap. Encubus refuses to release the hold after the match, and injured Slave Beast's leg! (* 1/2) Winner: Encubus
DragonMaster: I've just been given word that Epoch's partner will not be revealed until it's time for him to come down to the ring. The suspense builds!
Inter-Planetary Title Match Tricks (ch) vs. Valour - The return match, as Tricks won the belt from Valour on the last WarZone. Valour misses a turnbuckle charge, and the clown rolls him up for the 1-2-3. (***) Winner: Tricks
Nosfera vs. Payback - Payback takes the action to the outside and ends up getting disqualified. (**) Winner by disqualification: Nosfera
Vanity: Epoch's in the ring, awaiting his partner. Who's it going to be? (pause) It's...MINOTAUR!!!
Galactic Tag Team Title Match Troubleshooters (ch) vs. Epoch & Minotaur - Surprisingly good tag team match, as Epoch and Minotaur both get in good offense against the champs. Finish comes when Epoch gets caught with TROUBLE TIMES TWO. (*** 1/2) Winners: Troubleshooters
Galactic Title Match Swarm (ch) vs. Sly Drury - Slave Beast's injury earlier in the evening left Drury without a backup plan. Good back and forth action, but when Swarm hit the HORNET'S STING it was all over. (*** 1/2) Winner: Swarm

United Stars Title Match Steele Freak (ch) vs. Switchblade - Switchblade started off strong, but the champ recovered. Freak retains via FRENZIED HEAD SLAMS. Steele Freak kept pounding on Switchblade after the bell, again delivering FRENZIED HEAD SLAMS to a lifeless Switchblade. (** 1/2) Winner: Steele Freak
Epoch vs. Endgame - Disappointing performance for Endgame. Epoch hit Endgame with THE DARK AGE for the surprisingly easy win. (**) Winner: Epoch
Swarm, Antak, Plethador vs. Tricks, Amazing Mann, Scimitar - While all men got involved in the action, the match didn't last incredibly long. Sly Drury vs. Encubus - Expected to be a classic match, this one proved disappointing. Encubus failed to bring his 'A' game (or even his 'B' or 'C' game), and Sly Drury easily got the victory with LAST CALL. (* 1/2) Winner: Sly Drury
As the combatants were leaving the ring, the arena suddenly went dark. After about 10 seconds, a message scrolled across the arena's giant holoscreen:

NB Card 70 - GWF WARZONE Victory Gardens, Earth
Vidtek is standing in the ring with Commissioner Massif.
Vidtek: Recently I interviewed Jack Grossman regarding the Milky Way Tag Tournament. Four teams are competing - Stars & Stripes, Titan Glory, Big Things and The Troubleshooters - with the winning team receiving cash and trophies, while the losing team will be forced to disband. The only thing left to determine is the structure of the tournament.
Massif: It's pretty simple. Teams will receive 10 points for a win via pinfall or submission and 5 for a win by disqualification or count-out, with 0 points for a loss obviously. Teams will face each other 4 different times during 2121, for a total of 12 matches each. That's it. The competition begins tonight, with Titan Glory facing The Troubleshooters and Stars & Stripes meeting Big Things.
Nosfera vs. Plethador - Nosfera came out with his new manager Omen for this squash match. Nosfera quickly hit the SPRING HEEL KICK for the win. (*) Winner: Nosfera
Stars & Stripes vs. Big Things - The first match in the Milky Way Tag Tournament saw U.S. Male and American Guy go over Gryt & The Betrayer when DAWN'S EARLY BLIGHT felled Gryt. (* 1/2) Winners: Stars & Stripes
Payback vs. Tauran - Payback looked to overcome his recent struggles under the guidance of Mother Superior. Not on this night, though, as Tauran used a LEG HOOK PILEDRIVER to score the win. (**) Winner: Tauran
Titan Glory vs. Troubleshooters - Quick squash for Muss & The Bomb, as they nailed Tristan with TROUBLE TIMES TWO. (*) Winners: Troubleshooters
Disaster vs. Amazing Mann - Decent back and forth action for a few minutes before the action spilled outside where Disaster lost his temper, forcing the ref to issue a DQ. (** 1/2) Winner by disqualification: Amazing Mann
Monolith vs. Dead Ringer - Good effort by Dead Ringer, who threw everything he had at the hulking rookie. Monolith resisted all DR's offense and began pummeling him, finishing the new Ani-Man off with a Gladiator Piledriver. (** 1/2) Winner: Monolith
Inter-Planetary Title Match Bloodline (ch) vs. Tricks - Tricks tried in vain to regain the IP strap, as Bloodline retains via the Bloodline Vertibreaker. (** 1/2) Winner: Bloodline
Kill Prey vs. Endgame - Quick squash for Endgame. The ULTIMA LEAP does the trick in a VERY disappointing performance by Kill Prey. (*) Winner: Endgame
Galactic Title Match Epoch (ch) vs. Swarm - The champ withstood two early HORNET'S STINGS from Swarm, before taking the match with the cradle neckbreaker. (**) Winner: Epoch
