Alright, time for some BCW News as I move forward.
First, let's take a look at the Front Office of Bloodbath Championship Wrestling shall we?!
Commander and Chief, the CEO is Cannibal. Founder of the cult classic BCW, he has kept his role as the leader of Indy promotions in the Milky Way. However, because of health issues and his age, he's been taking more time off and working behind the scenes more and concentrating on the business end of his craft! He does manage to make cameo appearances throughout the year to really shake things up. Usually when he does, he makes an impact, whether it's a blockbuster announcement or just getting in the ring to mix it up with the roster for entertainment purposes. Think of him like a Vince McMahon or "Mr. McMahon" on a power trip.
General Manager Krakan. Cannibal has handed over the reigns of General Manager to keep BCW rolling along. Krakan can make decisions on suspensions, fines and match making. Cannibal also has the same power and when he comes around, he can overrule Krakan at anytime. Perks of being the "boss". Krakan will favor the heels of the roster a lot more often than the faces. Krakan is what fans refer to as "You just love to hate this guy!" They will boo him unmercifully.
The BCW Staff:
Ringside Commentating.
Pulsar. The Straight Shooter. Pulsar tells it just like it is. He hates the rulebreakers, and after losing his eye during his career, he knows all about rulebreaking and being hardcore! He'll often get very excited when a face wins the big one!
Bishop Hell. The Color Man. Bishop Hell was one of the first rulebreakers to use a finisher that could be DQ'd for! So he obviously loves it when the rulebreakers come out and cause havoc! And he's not afraid to stand up to Pulsar either, often mocking him about being a "one eyed freak".
Jonny C. The Ring Announcer. Jonny first caught the eye of Cannibal during a GWF event. Just talking to him, he knew his voice was as good as it gets! He hired him on the spot and Jonny is proud of it! He really loves to call out the names and put as much emphasis on them as he can! Think Michael Buffer. Often, when Jonny is introducing the wrestlers, wild things start to happen. Sneak attacks before the match and wild brawls! Even Jonny has gotten into trouble with wrestlers by insulting them before a match. Not a good idea there Jonny!
Talk Show Hosts:
The Whole Load w/ Cycle Hog. Ex-GWF star Cycle Hog brings his large frame to BCW to do an interview segment. Fan friendly and usually likes having the faces on his show, things can often turn ugly with rivals interrupting.
The Toxik Truth w/ Lars Toxik. The Loudest Mouth this side of Neptune! Lars Toxik brings his brash and bold mouth to the BCW to stir it up a bit. Lars likes to call out the faces and confront them face to face and sometimes even challenges them to a match! He also likes having the heels on to rip on their rivals and make jokes at their expense! The Toxik Truth will no doubt leave some controversy in the BCW!
The Referees:
Krakan's Kronies: Krakan has personally hired three of his own special guest referee when he wants to punish a wrestler or just shake things up from time to time to mess with the roster!
Vigalante. He's very loyal to Krakan, so anything that Krakan wants, he'll do. Normally, a pretty straight down the middle referee, he will bend the rules for a heel or whoever Krakan wants to win. So he usually has a fast count for face wrestlers and slow counts for heels. He'll also most likely DQ face wrestlers quickly and turn the other cheek for heels.
Dark Justice. He doesn't care who wins, but if you try to break the rules, he's gonna make you pay! DJ brings a Stun Rod to the ring with him, and if someone does something he doesn't like, he'll zap you! Better watch out for that guy!
Soldier of Fortune. Like Vigilante, SoF is very loyal to Krakan. Whoever Krakan likes or wants to win, SoF will try his best to make it happen. Usually the heels benefit from SoF being the ref, and faces pay the price.
Regular referees:
Phil Haas. He's as laid back as they come. He is known for his slow count and is pretty lazy on the DQ's as well.
Torin Caelum. GWF Legend has been hired to lay down the law. Torin is very strict and is known for having a fast count at times. And if you break the rules, he'll make sure you stop or he'll DQ you on the spot!
Robo Ref CPO-0033. Cannibal found this robot in an auction, so bought it for cheap, fixed it up and put it to work as a referee. CPO-0033 does most of the refereeing during the events, as he calls it right down the middle, shows no favor, doesn't need to rest, doesn't need pay. The perfect employee for Cannibal! The only time Haas or Caelum see some action is when Cannibal wants to get some use out of them!
Mutant. Krakan's "bodyguard" so he says, but often just a comic relief. Mutant will do odd things throughout the show that will make you cringe or even laugh. Sometimes Krakan will throw Mutant into the role of referee as well, just for his own savage amusement. Mutant is easily distracted by the crowd when he is refereeing, so he might not even do a pin count!? But really, what is counting to Mutant anyway? DQ? Count out? yeah right, when Mutant referees, you can be sure that he can't even count to 10. And any sort of rulebreaking would be fine by him, as he believes that's how to wrestle! Worked for him in his career, right?
KPA. the Krakan Protection Agency. T-Bear and Husk. These two bad boy booze hounds love to drink and smoke and beat people up. They usually hang out in the back, play poker and wait for "prospective clients". They usually get someone to come and hire them, but be careful, you don't want to insult them with a wrong price tag, or they could be beating you up!
So let's take a look at the roster and give some insight as to what's what.
BCW Heavyweight Champion: Steel Justice. He won the title after double crossing Wicked Todd Studd and becoming one of the most hated men in BCW. Once a fan favorite, Steel Justice has now got three motivations. 1) Hold on to his title! 2) Get rid of Todd Studd forever. 3) Screw the fans!
Deep Space 9 Championship: Simply The Best Shawn Harrigan. Harrigan has had a stranglehold on the DS9 Title and has had the longest reign for that title in the history of BCW! His main rival these days is Sexton Savage who has come within inches of winning the title, only to fall short on several occasions.
BCW Tag Team Title: The Head Hunters (Vile & Crule). The sons of CEO Cannibal, these two savages bring a hardcore feel that has brought the BCW fans to their feet! One of the favorites on the roster and Krakan has no choice but to like them as well, for his sake of his job.
Hardcore 24/7 Championship: VACANT. CEO Cannibal wants to bring back the hardcore feel to his fed, so has created a championship where anything goes. A champion will have to defend his title 24 hours, 7 days a week, Anywhere, Anytime! Doesn't matter if it's in the parking lot, in the dressing rooms, in the bath room, at the space shuttle strip, landing docks, in their hotel rooms. Wherever! As long as there's a referee to make the three count, it's official!
Top Contenders:
Wicked Todd Studd: Former BCW champion and biggest rival to Steel Justice. These two have swapped titles many times throughout the careers and their paths have usually crossed again and again for the Heavyweight Title.
Devious Scott Deville: Former Champion in many promotions, the former leader of the Crooked Heel Society brings his devious mind here with one thing on his mind. Capture the Heavyweight Title! He's also called the Veteran Bruiser because he will punish you a variety of different ways.
Hellstone Shawn Hilliard: Main rival of Scott Deville as these two used to be partners in the Crooked Heel Society. Now bitter enemies and their only goal is to destroy each other.
Monolith: BCW's biggest hombre. Not to be confused with the GWF's Monolith, but he can be just as lethal inside the ring. A constant threat for the Heavyweight Title on any given night, he's went against both Todd Studd and Steel Justice on many occasions over the title!
Baron Von Demios: The hardcore freak of the BCW. As sadistic as they come, he isn't afraid to bleed during the match and his goal is to make you bleed first!
The Master: Just as sadistic as his partner Baron Von Demios, these two make a tuff team! Their only real goal is to inflict as much pain as they can!
Vyolynce: From the Darkest Corner of Your Mind, comes Vyolynce. Not much is known about this shadowy character, but we're learning that he can be as lethal as The Master and just as brutal if it calls for it. Somewhat of the Anti-hero, he will take on anyone at anytime.
Avanter: Vyolynce's "insurance policy". Avanter is big, powerful and doesn't seem to feel pain. His main rival is Baron Von Demios, who says he'll make Avanter feel pain! But perhaps Avanter will have a different point of view?!
Varsity: The Galaxies only Galactic Gold Medalist in pro wrestling has found his way to the BCW. He claims he is the best technical wrestler to ever step in the ring. He hates hardcore or what he refers to as "garbage wrestling". He says he won't rest until he has gotten rid of all the garbage in BCW!
Extreme Eddie Dean: Eddie Dean has lived a hardcore style of life in pro wrestling and his scarred up body is proof. He's put himself through hell and back, and he wouldn't want it any other way. Now, he doesn't care for Varsity's point of view and now is on a collision course to settle their differences. Who will win out? Hardcore wrestler vs. Technical wrestler?
Icon: The biggest signing last year by Cannibal. The big man from Euphorya comes in with a chip on his shoulder. Feeling like he's been overlooked since coming to the BCW, he's out to make a point! That point is..."I deserve a title shot!!!" And he won't stop hurting people until he gets what he wants!
Castor: One of the hardcore legends returns to the ring. Mostly because he's seen what Icon has been doing and doesn't like what he's seeing. Castor vows to put a stop to Icon's "childish acts and make a man out of him".
Cinq: The snooty French Bastard from France has come to the BCW with one thing on his mind. To capture the top titles in the BCW! He's already claimed that he's won the GWF and CPC title belts before, carrying them around as proof (although no one has officially looked them over to verify that they are the real thing). Now he has his sights set on the Heavyweight Championship and will he have what it takes to hang with BCW Hardcore Crew? Or will his cocky, arrogant ways cause him to bite off more than he can chew?
The Annihilator Wes Anderson: Once the promising young protege of Todd Studd, Wes Anderson showed he could be a Main Eventer some day. Well, at the end of last year, he showed he was ready to make that move! He betrayed Studd in a main event tag team match, and walked away from him, causing them to lose their match. After a classic bitter feud, now Anderson is looking for more! What will this year bring for the up and coming superstar?
The Prodigy Tracy Hudson: A new signing by the BCW as The Prodigy has quite the resume. Being a very self assured young man, he seems to have all the tools to make it or break it in this business! Cannibal loves his attitude and expects big things to come from this guy!
Dark Soul: A mysterious young man who doesn't often speak and has no alliances with anyone. He'll fight whoever, wherever. Cannibal signed him with hopes he'll make a good 24/7 Hardcore Champion!
Sexton Savage: A top contender for the Deep Space 9 title. He has a rivalry with Shawn Harrigan like no other. Coming within inches of winning the title, he falls short just about every time. Perhaps this year will be his year?
Colt Seavers: Another top contender for the Deep Space 9 Title. He and Sexton Savage would battle it out for the top spot many times, with Savage usually getting the upper hand. Seavers also has an up and coming battle with rookie Hazzard!
Mass: Once a part of the biggest tag team tandem in BCW, Mass is now a singles star ready to capture some gold! Only one man stands in his way. Maim. These two are former tag team champions, now bitter enemies! Who will win out in this colossal battle?
Maim: Labeled "the Bully" for picking and beating people up, Maim has earned himself a nasty reputation. Who's going to bring him down to size? Perhaps his former tag team partner will do that? Mass vs. Maim will be a battle to watch this year as they could shake the BCW down to it's core!
Reaver: One of the mainstays in BCW, Reaver has been there from the beginning. The Hardcore legend just won't go away. Getting a little more seasoned and a little more scarred, he comes back for more punishment with one goal in mind. To be the most hardcore SOB in BCW!
Freakus: One guy that wants to give Reaver some hardcore action is Freakus. This young talent breaks into the BCW wanting to earn his reputation as the most hardcore wrestler of the future. Freakus says "Reaver is a washed up has been and BCW has no more room here for his dead weight!" Reaver begs to differ and offers a feud to resolve who belongs and who doesn't.
Maul: Another long standing member of BCW, formerly known as Funboy, Maul has accepted his past and heritage. Now becoming an Aethran outcast like his teammates Slash and Hack, Maul wishes to unleash his fury on the BCW. However, one man promises to keep the BCW in tact. That man is BCW's Enforcer, Bloodbath!
Bloodbath: A strange trip it's been for Bloodbath. He comes at the wishes of Cannibal to keep things from getting too far out of hand and protect his interests. Bloodbath doesn't care for championships, he has a job to do and that's to get rid of the psychopaths, crazies and rulebreakers who go too far! Next on his hit list is the wild and crazy Maul!
Aethran Outkasts, Hack and Slash: Driven out of Aethra, Slash and Hack bring their hardcore tag team skills to the BCW once again. Multiple time tag team champions, they look to recapture their titles against The Headhunters.
The Disciples of Destruction, Minion and Ashe: the cronies of The Master, these two do whatever their master asks of them. Often a tag team, but just as deadly in singles, these two seem to feel no pain and bring it 10 fold.
Kaz & Glory: The charismatic Kaz returns again with his fan pleasing, hardcore style. His undersize doesn't stop him from hitting all the deathjumps and suicide dives that he can! He usually tags up with Glory who often has his own philosophy about hardcore: "No Guts, No Glory!" Both these two love to mix it up and currently have their sights on the Henchmen!
Strikeforce, Martok and Dorvin. Thought to have abducted humans for experiments and almost causing a war of the worlds, Strikeforce has really taken the BCW by storm. Many human teams have been lining up to take a shot at them and knock them down off their high horses. Next team on the list is the Amazing Romani's!
The Amazing Romani's, Ravnos & Niklos. The traveling gypsies come to the BCW as tag team specialists. With their high flying tactics and death defying moves, the Amazing Romani's hope to win over the fans and capture some tag team gold while doing it! Their main purpose is to entertain. And now they have their sights set on Strikeforce as they think that what they're doing is horrible and must pay if the rumors are true!
Undercarders:
Hazzard: Young rookie that is just breaking in. He is a high flier and a daredevil. Sure to catch the eyes of the fans with his death defying arsenal.
Lionheart: Never underestimate the heart of a lion. This AniMen returns to the BCW looking to get back on track after a year absence. Can this young lion bounce back from a severe injury to get his short career back on track?
Mr. Manson: Money can buy anything. Or so Mr. Manson thought. He once tried to buy a championship here at the BCW, but was given a stiff shot to the face by Steel Justice. So far, Mr. Manson's approach hasn't paid off just yet, but perhaps with a few more years under his belt, he'll finally accomplish something.
Kar' et. The young rookie from Neptune comes to the BCW by way of Terak. Kar' et comes in riding his huge Sabertooth tiger which makes him an automatic fan favorite.
Code Redd: Mr. America, Code Redd is a veteran that just doesn't know when to quit! Fortunately, he has been in such good shape throughout his life, he just has a few tricks up his sleeve and can pull out a win here and there. Rulebreakers beware!
Apex: This young and unorthodox fighter comes to the BCW looking like a strung out zombie! But once that bell sounds, this guy comes to life and fights like he has nothing left to live for! Opponents will have to watch out for his APEX DDT (hanging ddt off ropes) as he'll try to hit it anytime during the match and as often as he can.
Arrow: Young Centurian that is an obviously fan favorite as he fights for things like Honor, Pride and Glory! He shows no fear as this marksmen hopes to hit the bullseye on some championship gold!
Papa Legba: A boogieman of sorts from Dimension X. Watch out for this big man, as he could put a hex on you and soon you'll become the undercard bum of the BCW!
The Russian Bear Fydor Samsonov: He's as strong as they come, but not all that bright. If he hits his IRON SICKLE, it could be over. But if you get the Russian Bear off his feet, it could be over quick for Samsonov!
Everyone's Favorite Brit, Bazzy: Often the ridicule of Lars Toxik, Bazzy puts up with a lot. But how much more will he take? Bazzy is about to snap and Lars could be in the wrong place at the wrong time! What will happen between Bazzy and Lars Toxik on the Toxik Truth?
Cardinal Sin: Lars Toxik brings in the controversial Cardinal Sin. With the seven deadly sins on his breath, he is always quick to point out the flaws of others. Will his and Lars Toxik's mouth get them into some trouble down the road? Ha, is the Pope Catholic?
Bones: Not much is known about this little man. A skinny little dude in a skeleton costume. Most of the BCW consider him a joke, but really, how demented is a guy that claims he's a skeleton? You can't take him too lightly. Can you?
The Caretaker Joe Mancini: Once a prominent hitman, now a wannabe wrestler. Krakan took a liking to him right away, being that he was a hitman. "He may have some use to me" says Krakan. But will his lack of experience in the ring test Krakan's patience? Or will he start to shine in his new role?
Mr. Thug: A former bouncer turned pro wrestler, Krakan liked Mr. Thug as well. "Perhaps the KPA could have a back up plan with this guy?" No doubt this guy can hold his own and is considered a tough guy, but the BCW is a lot more than just being a tough guy. Will Mr. Thug hold his own or be getting his ass handed to him?
The Immortal Mr. Singh. The Immortal One claims he is the best free agent signing the BCW will have this year! THE ABSOLUTE BIGGEST signing ever! says Mr. Singh. However, no comment was made by Cannibal, which leaves many BCW fans saying "Who's this guy?" Well, he'll have a chance to prove himself, will he fail? Or will he win out?
Wally the Slow Ass Postman & Postman Pat: Two of the most notorious jobbers in the industry signed a small deal with BCW on a part time basis, make some cameo appearances and bring their feud here with each other over who's the better delivery man! Who will win this feud and does it really matter?
And Cannibal promised to have some open contracts available throughout the course of the year and with another ONE BIG SIGNING for the year! Who will be next SUPERSTAR to sign with BCW? You'll have to watch to find out!
And also, announced, the BCW shows will also have a segment called THE BCW VAULT which will flash back to some classic BCW matches. We'll travel back to the 2107 era to the current year. Some great matches of this historic indy fed.
More to come down the road, but this is the low down! Stay tuned fans!
