Shane McMahon is in his office looking over some paper work when he hears a familiar voice say, "By God you did it boy; you really did it"!! That is the voice of Vince McMahon!
Vince: "It feels good to be in the driver seat. To have the WWF back in control. So, who do we squash first? The All-Earth Zone makes the most sense, since they are quite literally in our back yard. But then you have that stupid Titans/Assassins fued. Who the hell calls themselves Titan's anyway?!
Shane: "Ohh Vince; that's where you are wrong. I didn't bring you back to help me run the WWF. I brought you back to compete!! There are a lot of guys that want some pay back on you for the way that you treated them. And you're the first match of the night. So you better get your gear on!! You're match is next."
Highlights are shown of the last WWF show. Bray Wyatt and Undertaker fight to a double disquakification and the WWF Tag Team Championships wee not claimed as The Wyatt Family were disqualified against DX in the tournament finals. Kurt Angle forces Hollywood Superstar to tap to the "ANKLE LOCK" to become the new WWF Champion.
Vince McMahon vs ??: Vince McMahon is in the ring waiting for his opponent when the Titan-Tron says, "The Ninth Wonder of the World" on it!
Vince Mcmahon vs Andre the Giant: Vince throws some punches that Andre blocks. Andre knocks McMahon down, stand on him and then nails him with a "Giant Headbutt" for the victory!
Kurt Angle's music comes on and the WWF Champ makes his way to the ring. He mentions the brutal path that he had to become the champ. Defeating Ric Flair, HHH, Hulk Hogan, Billy Graham and Hollywood Superstar. Angle says that there isn't a wrestler past or present that could acheive that feat. With that, John Cena comes out. He's out to congratulate Kurt Angle but tells him that he is coming for that title.
Angle: "Well, while me and 15 other wrestlers were battling in a tournament for this, (holds up WWF Championship) you were beating up a cheap imitation. And while that is impressive, nothing is more impressive than what I did; Oh it's true, IT'S DAMN TRUE"!!
Cena just smirks and claps in the direction of Angle.
Brock Lesnar vs Bruno Sammartino:: Both of these guys were casualties of the first roung of the tourney. Back and forth to start. Bruno takes over and locks on a "BACKBREAKER RACK". Brock feels the effects but is able to fight out of it. The fight goes outside where Bruno gets more advantage, rolls Brock back in the ring and locks on the "BEARHUG" for the victory.
Kevin Owens vs "Mr. Perfect" Curt Hennig: Curt Hennig is on offense and has KO reeling. KO powers out of a move and goes on offense. He nails the "piledriver on the ring apron". A short while later he finishes the job with a second "POP UP POWERBOMB".
Brodie Lee and Kane are in the dimly lit background. Bray Wyatt enters the view. "Tonight Undertaker, tonight is the night for salvation. Tonight is the night that you succumb to the fact that I am the NEW FACE OF FEAR!! The revolution has begun. RUN!!"
John Cena vs The Ultimate Warrior: Warrior lost his first round match in the tourney and Cena knows to become the Champ, he needs to climb the ranks. A very long back and forth match that almost went the 30 minute time limit. But Cena was able to nail a "guillotine leg drop" that put Warrior down for the three!
Honky Tonk Man vs Finn Balor: Finn Balor is on offense and delivers some big moves to hurt Honky Tonk. HTM is able to reverse and pins Balor following a "diving fist drop" for a two count. Balor comes back and beats HTM with the "COUPE DE GRACE". As Balor celebrates up the ramp, Kevin Owens blasts him from behind. Then KO gives Balor a "powerbomb" on the edge of the ring. Balor is in immense pain.
Hulk Hogan is backstage when he sees someone down the corridor. "Hey Rock", he screams. "HEY ROCK!!" The Rock doesn't acknowledge Hogan and goes into his locker room.
Demolition vs Ric Flair and Batista: Batista gets the tag from Flair and get totally demolished, pun intended. Batista survives two "DECAPITATOR"s because Ric Flair made the save but a "Smash Lariat" puts Batista down for good.
Mastodon vs "Mr. Wonderful" Paul Orndorff: This is a rematch from the last show that ended in a DQ. These two fight back and forth for the entire 30 minute period and ends in a draw.
Mark Bain and Mankind vs The Hart Foundation: Back and forth match but Bain and Mankind aren't too interested in winning as Mankind gets DQ'd for hitting Bret Hart with the barbed wire baseball bat.
Randy Orton Jr. vs Chris Jericho: A short, eventful match. Orton hits Jericho with the "RKO" but Jericho kicks out!! Jericho turns the tables on Orton and locks in the "WALLS OF JERICHO" for the victory!
Bray Wyatt vs The Undertaker: The Undertaker beats Bray outside the ring and then locks in "HELL'S GATE" forcing Bray to pass out from the pain! As he passed out, Bray was seemingly smiling.
WWF Tag Team Championship: No DQ
DX vs The Wyatt Family: It's Michaels and Lee to start. Michaels reverses to take over and tags in HHH. HHH delivers a "PEDIGREE" for the win. DX are the WWF Tag Team Champions.
