In order to get the footage needed, all three shows under the Top 10 banner (Main Event Wrestling, Prime Time Wrestling, and Underground Wrestling) had a day long series of promos and interviews. But that night, in front of an audience brought in to see a free event, there were three battle royals to determine each companies first TV Champion. Again, the footage would be used for the syndicated programs and promo clips. The crowd reactions were strong as each company crowned their first champions. Please congratulate the following wrestlers for their success...
MAIN EVENT TV CHAMPION: NICK MADRID
PRIME TIME TV CHAMPION: SHELTON BENJAMIN
UNDERGROUND TV CHAMPION: MATT TREMONT
More to follow...

BEHIND THE SCENES:
Hey all. Hoping you're enjoying the new format with three separate feds. Still working on getting the flavoring right on each one, but I figured I'd let you know my thought process behind each one:
Main Event Wrestling - A wrestling fed that could be shown on Saturday mornings. This is a fed where I will go out of my way to avoid excessive blood and violence, as I want this to be a very family friendly company. Heels and faces are more in their actions than in their personality. There are a variety of personalities to mesh together, and the feud vibes are more frienemy than good vs. evil. Not too many gimmick matches, more countouts and DQ's and referee stoppages are possible. It's basically high school mentality feuds that the kids can get behind, some more skit material, and at the end of the night, it isn't unusual for the wrestlers and fans to all meet together in the ring for photos.
Prime Time Wrestling - The best wrestlers, the best action, the best show you will ever see this year. Prime Time has the largest roster of the three, and it's all about the competition. Matches and titles are vitally important. Basically has the tone of the Monday Night era wrestling, with feuds and cliques and trying to out-do the night/show before. Good chances for specialty matches, lots of mixing it up to keep things fresh, and trying each and every night to be the single best show presented in the world. Guest stars from Legends of Wrestling are known to make appearances, and keep things lively. This is a fed where the pursuit of championships not just a driving force, but a driving passion.
Underground Wrestling - The new definition of hardcore. Underground Wrestling (also referred to as The Underground) is a street level wrestling company that is adult oriented. You must be 18 or over to attend a show, and alcohol is served at the event. There are never countouts or disqualifications, and the ringside area is surrounded by tables, chairs, and ladders in case anyone wants to use them. Weapons are provided under the ring at random. The focus is more on the in-ring product, not so much the feuds or storylines. A deliberately smaller fed, to both keep talent from being lost in the mix, and to drive the fans to be more passionate about both them and the fed.
Been debating the use of managers, as I really am not a fan of them in game use. I am thinking about limiting their involvement to only one wrestler or team, and not a stable. My personal conviction is that the manager is needed to get people over, and there are few wrestlers in the set that I feel need the help. Cards with built in managers/valets/groups are no brainers, but I'm still working on who to attach Truth Martini and The Dark Menace to. Not ruling out creating supergroups, but only if I can overcome the inherent issue with them. If you build a faction that is all powerful, it will not have a great finish. I will not build a group without the potential for an even bigger group to appear to challenge them. Internal fractioning is often used, but it's not a satisfying finish for fans, because it takes them out of the equation. I'm working on all items, and it's a fun mental challenge to explore.
Starting this week, I am going to begin the buildup to the first PPV event, Cibernetico. It will be Team Main Event vs. Team Prime Time vs. Team Underground in an eight man single elimination match. 24 men will wrestle until only one team is left standing. In addition to earning bragging rights to which company has the best talent, there is a special stipulation. If a wrestler who holds a title enters a match against a wrestler who does not hold a title, it will be treated as a title match. What this is going to accomplish is the beginning of a talent exchange. So long as a wrestler from another company holds that belt, they will be part of that new company. And what would happen if a tag belt is lost? Then say hello to a new partner! Lots of potential here, and I can't wait to see it in action.
Finally, I am going to introduce each company's Commissioner, the person responsible for title matches, suspensions, and feud matches. Each one will be coming from the Legends set, and I think they will not only fit into the mold, but also help drive the vision forward. I am enjoying this format I am using, and I am hoping everyone reading them enjoys it too.
See you this weekend! - J.
