Gentlemen, Many of you have already heard this news, but I would like to proudly announce that I got engaged to my girlfriend this weekend when I surprised her with a proposal at the Frank Lloyd Wright house, Falling Water, outside of Pittsburgh, PA. And she said yes - even after I had tricked her last year by offering her a trip to Niagara Falls but then also dragged her to Galacticon on the same trip. In honesty though, it was during that Jamestown-Niagara trip that we went on a tour of another Frank Lloyd Wright house in Buffalo (the Darwin House), and we loved that house so much that it inspired us to visit Falling Water as well. On our way up to the location, we even stopped by Cumberland, MD, and had lunch with Mark Ashby too and it was great catching up with him. So there is a connection with this game and our engagement somehow. Sadly, I think that means that I probably will not be attending G-Con this year, but hope to continue making return trips to Jamestown in future years.

Congratulations, Chewy! No need to skip G-con, though. Tell the fiancée that it's a nostalgia trip to remind you of the moment you "knew" that you wanted to spend the rest of your lives together.
That might work.

Congratulations Chewie... definitely bring the Missus-To-Be to Galacticon. She has to meet the "family"!

She was there last year...she looked quite bored as most non-gamers do I admit.

Congrats or sorry to hear that... It does make me think what an Aetheran wedding would be like...
