Legends Of Wrestlemania

Every year around this time I do a "Legends Of Wrestlemania" show using the Legends cards of wrestlers who have wrestled at Mania. The problem with that, of course, is that I have to dig pretty deep to come up with a main event since only two of the guys in the game, Andre and DiBiase, were ever actually in the main event at Wrestlemania or even considered high enough up the ladder to do so. When I roll it this year I'm on the fence about adding the Z doppelgangers Big Superstar, Freak Out, and Blade Machismo to boost the main event a little.

I was looking at the roster of wrestlers in the game who have wrestled at the biggest show of the year and, after the last two legends releases and ROH, it's pretty deep.

The LOW dopplegangers were statted by the LOW crew, designed to fight LOW guys (not really vs. Z guys). You should use them. Why should we suffer because Tom was lazy about calling Randy Savage back?

Just adding those few guys would give a lot more choices. The idea of the show itself is really cool. Look forward to it.

This is true, and I don't know why I omitted him from that short and prestigious list of main even guys, especially since I like Bundy. Wrestlemania 2 may have been one of the most forgettable of them all; there was only one match I'd consider good (Bulldogs versus Dream Team), a whole lot I'd consider terrible (Adonis versus Uncle Elmer, George Wells and Jake Roberts, Corporal Kirchner and Nikolia----wow), and the way they split it up amongst three different sites kind of diluted the whole event.

I saved myself $70 and a lot of frustration and just rolled the Wrestlemania I wanted to see. Of course, I had a LOT better roster to play with, but I think my booking made more sense.

Seriously, why put the top three matches back to back to back and burn out the fans? REMEMBER THE BUFFER MATCH WWE? There was a reason matches like Mountie versus Tito and Skinner versus Own went on right before the main event in years past! I read they cut their buffer this year (Brodus Clay's team versus Rhodes Scholars) and played a bunch of long promos for the main event everyone had already bought (AND K-Mart commercials).
