PRIME TIME WRESTLING TOURNAMENT OF CHAMPIONS - Aleppo Shriners Auditorium, 86% tickets sold
BATTLE ROYAL TO DETERMINE THE FIRST EVER PRIME TIME TV CHAMPION WON BY... Shelton Benjamin
NOTES: Mixed feelings. Shelton easily would have been a top contender in the World tournaments, but I'm glad to have a very strong singles champion right off the bat. We'll see how this plays out down the road
PRIME TIME WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP - QUALIFIER ROUND
Ruckus def. Pinkie Sanchez by pinfall
Alex Colon def. Michael Kai Rayne by pinfall
Tim Donst def. Roderick Strong by pinfall
Tyler Black def. Hallowicked by pinfall
NOTES: Ruckus surprised me by his dominance. Not too familiar with him or the other members of BLK, but he is certainly worthy of main event contention.
PRIME TIME TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP - QUARTERFINAL ROUND
Sick & Twisted (Vin Gerard & Arik Royal) def. The Young Bucks (Nick & Matt Jackson) by submission
Irish Airborne (Matt & Jake Crist) def. Olympus Rising (Ares & Icarus) by DQ
BLK Jeez & Joker def.. The Leading Men (Joey Ryan & Peter Avalon) by pinfall - Joker was busted open!
Red Dragon (Bobby Fish & Kyle O'Reilly) def. Criminal Justice (Bennet Cole and Rocky Reynolds) by pinfall
NOTES: Sick and Twisted made an impressive debut by taking out the hands down favorite team to win it all in convincing fashion. Vin Gerard is looking to spread his dark influence in the locker room, and found a willing follower in Arik Royal. Their combination of submission maneuvers and brute force make them dangerous. Biggest note of the series... and of the night... was that BLK vs. The Leading Men was a 5 star match, and would be crowned Match Of The Week by readers of Top 10 Magazine. I put those Ryan & Avalon together for a comedy group, and was shocked by how well they worked in the match. Even though it is the richest tag division of all feds, the quality of mongrel teams eclipses even the established teams in other feds)
PRIME TIME WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP - QUALIFIER ROUND
Shane Strickland def. Mike Bennett by pinfall
Brodie Lee def. Austin Aries by pinfall
Matt Taven def. Shaun Ricker by pinfall
Claudio Castagnoli def. Chuck Taylor by pinfall
NOTES: Nothing too shocking or odd, just good action. Lee is a beast!
PRIME TIME WOMEN'S CHAMPIONSHIP - QUARTERFINAL ROUND
Kellie Skater def. Athena by pinfall
Sara Del Rey def. Allison Danger by submission
Nicole Matthews def. MsChef by pinfall
Christina Von Eerie def. Madison Eagles by pinfall
NOTES: After their match, MsChef blinded Matthews with the green mist, and attacked her with a chair. She was taken to a local hospital, condition unknown. As a result or her attack, Christina Von Eerie will get a bye into the finals. Was this collusion? MsChef and Eerie are close friends, and both are known to bend the rules as they see fit. The Commission will launch an investigation.
PRIME TIME WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP - QUARTER FINALS
Alex Colon def. Ruckus by pinfall
Tyler Black def. Tim Donst by pinfall
NOTES: Colon and Ruckus got into a melee after the match. A big one. A really big one! When the referees and the locker room couldn't stop them from tearing into each other with chairs and under the ring weapons, the police and security intervened. Both men we cut open and battered by the other, and at the insistence of the promoter, both men were taken to jail for disorderly conduct. This was a straight shoot, as both men threatened to shut down the company's first show. There will be suspensions, and it is unclear what will happen when, or even IF, these two men enter the same locker room again. Side note, Black will enjoy a bye straight into the finals as a result of this assault. This was a result of 4 straight feud rolls coming off of doubles, and was a shade away from Mass Transit all over again. This was a great match before the brawl, so the finish was disappointing.
PRIME TIME TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP - SEMI FINALS
Irish Airborne def. Sick & Twisted by pinfall
Red Dragon def. BLK Jeez & Joker by submission
NOTES: Impressed to no end by Airborne as a team. Down the road, their matches against the Young Bucks could be the Rock N Roll Express/Rockers feud for Prime Time wrestling. Kyle O'Reilly caught Joker in a wicked ankle lock and got an immediate submission win. Was the severity of the hold payback for what happened to Colon? BLK is finding themselves to be the most hated faction right off the bat for the actions of Ruckus. Will there be long term ramifications?
PRIME TIME WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP - QUARTERFINALS
Brodie Lee def. Shane Strickland by pinfall
Claudio Castagnoli def. Matt Taven by pinfall
NOTES: Taven received a concussion as a result of Castagnoli's bicycle kick, and was taken to the back for evaluation. His return to ring action is unknown.
PRIME TIME WOMEN'S CHAMPIONSHIP - SEMI FINALS
Sara Del Rey def. Kellie Skater by submission
Christina Von Eerie receives a bye into the next round
NOTES: Short match, as Skater was not ready for the explosiveness of Del Rey
PRIME TIME WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP - SEMI FINALS
Tyler Black receives a bye into the final round.
PRIME TIME TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP - FINALS
Irish Airborne def. Red Dragon by pinfall to become the first ever Prime Time Tag Team Champions
NOTES: Great finish to the tournament, and Airborne is set to become fast fan favorites. Was planning on using them as heels, but given their ability and their winning of the belts, I don't think I'll go that route.
PRIME TIME WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP - SEMI FINALS
Claudio Castagnoli def. Brodie Lee by pinfall
NOTES: Second match in a row Castagnoli won using the bicycle kick. Notoriety has found Claudio, and he is embracing it. Having a move the may be causing concussions is getting him noticed.
PRIME TIME WOMEN'S CHAMPIONSHIP - FINALS
Sara Del Rey def. Christina Von Eerie by pinfall to become the first ever Prime Time Women's Champion. - Von Eerie was busted open!
NOTES: Match almost ended when Von Eerie was counted out, but Del Rey grabbed the microphone and said that this wasn't how you crowned a champion, and ordered the match to continue. Despite the blood, Von Eerie went back into the ring. It was to no avail though, as Del Rey made quick work of her. Del Rey is a frighteningly strong competitor, and has the tools to dominate for a very long time.
PRIME TIME WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP - FINALS
Claudio Castagnoli def. Tyler Black by pinfall to become the first ever Prime Time World Heavyweight Champion
NOTES: Classic heel swerve to trap a fellow heel. When Castagnoli went to attempt the bicycle kick, Black ducked. But in doing so, he left himself open to be caught for a Ricola Bomb. Castagnoli is very crafty, and can turn the momentum of the match in a heartbeat. Very happy to have him in the drivers seat, as he will provide a dominant heel at the top of the talent. Looking forward to booking this fed!
PRIME TIME WORLD CHAMPION: Claudio Castagnoli, 242 lbs., Switzerland 1) Shelton Benjamin, 248 lbs., Orangeburg, SC 2) Brodie Lee, 265 lbs., Lincoln, NE 3) Alex Colon, 176 lbs., The 609 4) Ruckus, 235 lbs., Baltimore, MD 5) Tyler Black, 209 lbs., Davenport, IA 6) Matt Taven, 212 lbs, Los Angeles, CA 7) Shane Strickland, 170 lbs., Tacoma, WA 8) Tim Donst, 196 lbs., St. Louis, MO 9) Hallowicked, 192 lbs., Sleepy Hollow 10) Mike Bennett, 225 lbs., Boston, MA

PRIME TIME WRESTLING PRESENTS
Live event from The Hytche Athletic Center in Princess Anne, MD - 77% of seats sold
BLK (Black Jesus & Joker) def. Red Dragon (Bobby Fish & Kyle O'Reilly) - Kyle O'Reilly BUSTED OPEN!
NOTES: Instant heat, when BLK entered the ring wearing "FREE RUCKUS" shirts. Last week, Ruckus and Alex Colon were in a brutal in ring feud that escalated out of control and involved the local police. Pre match, they took the microphone and told the audience that nothing was going to silence BLK from becoming the "true face of Prime Time Wrestling". Red Dragon didn't even wait for introductions as it was a wild match from start to finish. Crowd was very much into this match, as all 4 men brought out their best this night. But in the end, Kyle O'Reilly missed a DEATHJUMP, and was quickly rolled up for the pin by Joker. Tough, bloody match, and BLK is becoming a monster heel faction very quickly!
Madison Eagles def. MsChef by pinfall
NOTES: Solid match, with Madison Eagles earning the victory with HELLBOUND. But after the match, both MsChef and Christina Von Eerie stormed the ring and worked over Eagles' leg until they were escorted off by security. Initial reports show that Madison Eagles will be out at least one month. The unit known as MsEerie is bringing that to the women's division, as their teamwork and tactics are taking out their competition. With Von Eerie in title contention, will this duo prove too much for Women's Champion Sara Del Rey to handle?
The Leading Men (Peter Avalon & Joey Ryan) def. The Disciples (Crossbones & Hydra)
NOTES: Decent match, love the budding chemistry of The Leading Men as Avalon was able to roll up Hydra for the pin. But it was after the match that the fireworks began. After helping Hydra back up to his feet, Crossbones started beating the holy you-know-what out of his partner, ending the assault by using an insider's edge to literally plant Hydra into the mats outside of the ring. Kobold ran out to the ring, and assisted his fellow Disciple back to the locker room. Over the following week, Crossbones would announce that he would be entering the singles division.
Tim Donst def. Austin Aries by pinfall
NOTES: Not too much of a match, as Aries really didn't impress me in this one. Tim Donst, on the other hand, is arguably the finest athlete in wrestling today, and his conditioning and ability really came to the forefront. He is an amazing competitor, and he made this match into his own. I expect big things from this one.
Olympus Rising (Ares & Icarus) def. Criminal Justice (Benett Cole & Rocky Reynolds)
NOTES: Was curious to see who would emerge from this match victorious. I think both teams have a lot of potential to break out to be a solid mid-card to main event talent. When Icarus pinned Cole following a DEATHJUMP, it was after a match where all men had a chance to show what they could do. Great effort from both teams, and the fans appreciated their hard work.
INTERMISSION - COME TO THE MERCHANDISE TABLE AND HEY... LOOKS WHO'S HERE! DIAMOND DALLAS PAGE IS SIGNING AUTOGRAPHS, TEACHING YOGA AND HEALTHIER LIVING, AND MAKING EVERYONE IN THE WORLD MUCH HAPPIER. BANG!!!
Bill Apter interviews... Sami Callihan
NOTES: For years, Sami Callihan has been known as the best kept secret in wrestling. A young star with an incredible work ethic and the desire to become a champion. The interview had Sami tell about his trails and training to get this far. It was, of course, interrupted by Shaun Ricker, who called Callihan a "little punk who shouldn't even be part of the ring crew." The verbal exchange escaladed until Ricker slapped Callihan to the ground, and the scrum was on. Referees and officials had to separate both men, which became a classic pull apart. Both guys are not on my radar or the fans radar, but I want to set them against each other to see what happens.
Kellie Skater def. Athena by pinfall
NOTES: I can't figure Athena out. She starts out matches strong, and is one of the best wrestlers I have ever seen. But she just cannot maintain momentum in her matches. Kellie Skater made a great comeback and won the match with back to back SKATE AND DESTROY. Side note: after the match, Athena was holding onto the side of her jaw, which was damaged in the match. She would be diagnosed with an impacted molar, and would be out for a couple of weeks in order for the injury to heal. Given the depth of injuries occurring in this fed, it might be best to side with caution.
Pinkie Sanchez def. Brodie Lee by pinfall
NOTES: Big shocker by "The Sensational One", Pinkie Sanchez. Brodie Lee is the clear cut monster of this company, but when he threw Sanchez into the turnbuckle, Sanchez planted his legs and launched back with an elbow smash that landed solidly on the temple of the Big Rig, knocking him senseless. The blow was enough to allow Sanchez to roll up a struggling Lee and actually get a clean pinfall victory over one of the top contenders for the world title. As Brodie argued with the referee over the count, Sanchez went out and started twerking to the delight of the crowd. Sanchez is a flamboyant face who always brings the party with him, and his "Work & Twerk" tee shirt sales will certainly be up after this win. Can he maintain this momentum?
Sick & Twisted (Vin Gerard & Arik Royal) def. The Young Bucks (Nick & Matt Jackson) - Matt Jackson BUSTED OPEN
NOTES: Insert the chant, it was yelled. "This Is Awesome". "Match Of The Year". "Five Star Match". It was probably one of the finest tag matches seen in my feds in quite some time. The Young Bucks have some of the slickest tag offense there is and there is no shortage of screaming female friends when they enter the ring. But the team of Gerard and Royal is a unique blend of punishing offense using Gerard's rulebreaking, and Royal's power attack. In the end, punishment won over precision as Royal caught Matt Jackson with GOOD TO THE LAST DROP for the pin. Standing ovation by the crowd after the match, but to be honest, Gerard & Royal could have cared less. These two are so alienated in their ways that they won't even use the locker room. They go in and out of the ring through the crowd. As this team develops a cult like following, will this cult find new members?
Tyler Black def. Shane Strickland in a # 1 Contenders Match
NOTES: Both men are certainly worthy of the honor. Black is a star I would love to re-establish as a main eventer in Prime Time Wrestling. Strickland is a very nice surprise, as I really didn't expect him to connect with the fans and the product this quickly. Both men had a great match that the fans were into, but it only took on application of GOD'S LAST GIFT for Black to win the pin. Next week, Tyler Black will meet Main Event World Champion Claudio Castagnoli in a non-title match. If he wins, he will get a chance to become the champion of the world.

PRIME TIME WORLD CHAMPION: Claudio Castagnoli, 242 lbs., Switzerland (C) 1) Shelton Benjamin, 248 lbs., Orangeburg, SC (1) 2) Tyler Black, 209 lbs., Davenport, IA (5) 3) Brodie Lee, 265 lbs., Lincoln, NE (2) 4) Alex Colon, 176 lbs., The 609 (3) 5) Tim Donst, 196 lbs., St. Louis, MO (8) 6) Ruckus, 235 lbs., Baltimore, MD (4) 7) Mike Bennett, 225 lbs., Boston, MA (10) 8) Matt Taven, 212 lbs, Los Angeles, CA (6) 9) Shane Strickland, 170 lbs., Tacoma, WA (7) 10) Hallowicked, 192 lbs., Sleepy Hollow (9)

PRIME TIME WRESTLING PRESENTS...
Live event from The Stabler Arena, in Bethlehem, PA (88% of tickets sold)
Before the matches begin, please welcome the new Commissioner of Prime Time Wrestling... B.G. JAMES
"Oh, you didn't know? Well, call your Momma, call your Daddy, and call the kids. The B to the G has taken control of Prime Time, and from this day forward, we are going to shake, rattle, and roll this company right to the top. And if you're not down with that, we've got two words for ya!..."
OPENING MATCH: Shaun Ricker vs. Sami Callihan
Stemming from last weeks confrontation during the interview with Bill Apter, these two men tore right into the other. Sami unleashed an arsenal of moves, but Ricker took advantage of his height and strength to punish Callihan before ending the match with THE GRAVY TRAIN. After the match, Callihan had to be helped back to the dressing room with injured ribs that will keep him out of wrestling for at least a month. For his part, Ricker only smirked as he watched Callihan limp off. When it comes to making a statement, it seldom gets stronger than that. WINNER BY PINFALL - SHAUN RICKER
CIBERNETICO QUALIFIER MATCH: Roderick Strong vs. Ethan Page (with Selezia Sparx)
Great young talent coming to the forefront to see who will be the first to represent Prime Time Wrestling in the upcoming Cibernetico pay per view. 4 star match was the result, as both men know that a victory here would not only get them the spot, but will also give their careers a boost. It was a matter of attrition, and in the end, it was Strong who was able to capitalize with a roll up for the win. WINNER BY PINFALL - RODERICK STRONG
Criminal Justice (Drew Benett & Rocky Reynolds, with Dr. Tom Filsinger) vs. The Disciples (Kobald & Hydra)
A lot of buzz going into this match. Criminal Justice had recently announced that they have signed on the management services of Dr. Tom Filsinger, a brilliant author and psychiatrist, who has decided to apply his skills towards managing champions. The Disciples were already reeling from Crossbones turning on his partner, only to have to bizarre Kobald take his place. But no one in the audience could have imagined that both teams would put on a true clinic that drew a standing ovation at the end. In spite of the chicanery of Filsinger, The Disciples rode the crowds cheers until Kobald caught Reynolds in THE DEVIL'S TOILET. A great match that ended with Kobald eating a Pop Tart covered in a fan's drink (ew!), and with Criminal Justice and Dr. Filsinger arguing all the way to the back. WINNERS BY PINFALL - THE DISCIPLES
Tim Donst vs. Nigel McGuiness
Tim Donst had some great momentum going into this match, but when Nigel McGuiness hit the ring, the game changed quickly. Rumors abounded about which company the former world champion was going to join, and Prime Time was the lucky winner. Fans were reminded of just how good he was. In spite of the superior conditioning of Donst, who many claim may be the best pure athlete the sport has ever seen, McGuiness was able to use his wily veteran skill to catch Donst with a devastating lariat, knocking the wind out of him, and leaving him helpless in the center of the ring. The Hooligan has returned! WINNER BY PINFALL - NIGEL MCGUINESS
Hallowicked vs. Mike Bennett (with Maria Kanellis & Brutal Bob)
A fantastic singles match between the high flying enigma, and the self professed Prime Time Prodigy. It was a tremendous back and forth effort that left Bennett a bloody mess. Hallowicked could have prevailed, but outside interference and a well placed BOX OFFICE SMASH proved to much in the end. WINNER BY PINFALL - MIKE BENNETT
After the match, Commissioner James announced that as a result of his victory, Mike Bennett would receive a non-title match next week against the winner of the match between Claudio Castagnoli and Tyler Black...
"Oh, and in case you didn't know, since you get the non-title match, I guess we better make their match for the World Heavyweight Championship, right here tonight Bethlehem, PA!" The crowd was cheering, while in the back, Claudio Castagnoli was furious.
INTERMISSION - Come on over and get pictures and autographs with wrestling legends Brutus Beefcake and King Kong Bundy. WOW!!!
Bill Apter interviews... LAURA PHOENIX
Coming to the ring is a promising newcomer to the women's division in Laura Phoenix. As she was being interviewed by Apter, they were both surprisingly interrupted by Dr. Tom Filsinger...
"Laura, I look at you, and I see a potential women's champion. All you have to do is unlock the confidence and assurance you have in your sub-conscious mind, and victory will be yours. If you sign me on as your manager, I promise you a shot against Sara Del Rey next week. And don't worry about Criminal Justice. Those two are works in progress, but you are ready to become a champion!"
To the surprise of a lot of fans, Phoenix accepted the offer, and is the newest member of The Filsinger Family. Is she willing to sacrifice the fans cheers to side with the "good doctor"? And what will Criminal Justice think about being referred to as "works in progress"?
Olympus Rising (Ares & Icarus) vs. The Leading Men (Joey Ryan & Peter Avalon)
A true clash of egos here! The men who consider themselves "gods in mortal flesh" versus the men who "always top the A-List". But while ego is one thing, both teams do bring the goods when it comes to wrestling. In the end, Icarus caught Ryan with THE BLU-RAY, seizing victory for his team. As Olympus Rising, well, rises through the ranks, will a championship match be far behind? WINNERS BY PINFALL - OLYMPUS RISING
WOMEN'S CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH: Sara Del Rey (champion) vs. Christina Von Eerie (challenger)
This match was five star from start to finish! Sara Del Rey is arguably the best woman in wrestling today. Christina Von Eerie is deadly opponent who brings a high level of offense to the match, and even succeeded in busting open Del Rey within the opening moments of the match. Del Rey may have had the skills, but Von Eerie had the high level offense on her side. Capitalizing on a perfect 138, she was able to knock out the bloody champion for a clean victory in the middle of the ring. WINNER BY PINFALL... AND NEW PRIME TIME WOMEN'S CHAMPION... CHRISTINA VON EERIE!
After the match, MsChef ran into the ring and joined the new champion in double teaming Del Rey. Suddenly, The Canadian Ninjas (Nicole Matthews & Portia Perez) entered the fray. But then, here comes Mia Yim with a kendo stick to even up the odds. All of a sudden, here comes Kelly Skater with a skateboard. The match ended with The Ninjas and Skater shielding the former champion, as the new champion and her allies walked confidently back to the locker room. A dream match can't be too far away!
BLK (Black Jeez & Joker) vs. Sick & Twisted (Vin Gerard & Arik Royal)
This match was violent! Most of the action took place outside of the ring, as the referee struggled to maintain control of this free for all. Lots of out of ring action, including Arik Royal busting open across the guardrail, and the oncoming interference of the newest member of Sick & Twisted... CROSSBONES. But when it comes to winning a fight, there are very few who can meet the duo from the streets of Philadelphia. It took a mis-timed chair shot from Crossbones hitting Royal (instead of Black Jeez) to allow for BLK to get the win. BLK is controversial, with fans both loving and hating them openly, but no one can deny that they are the most exciting team to watch today. And even though they lost, Sick & Twisted has grown with the addition to Vin Gerard's newest convert, Crossbones. With the new lineup of Sick & Twisted, and with the oncoming return of the controversial Ruckus, the future of these teams is unlimited. WINNERS BY PINFALL - BLK
MAIN EVENT: WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH: Claudio Castagnoli (champion) vs. Tyler Black (challenger)
The complexity of this match changed when it was declared to be a title match. Tyler Black immediately went on the offensive and worked desperately to get a quick victory over the defending champion. But in spite of the change of the match, Claudio Castagnoli is still one of the best in the world, and in time, he was able to unleash THE RICOLA BOMB to win his match. WINNER BY PINFALL... AND STILL WORLD CHAMPION... CLAUDIO CASTAGNOLI
After the match, Castagnoli took the mic and addressed the crowd...
"This is a message to the entire locker room, and to our new Commissioner B.G. James. I run this show. No one else. You would all do well to remember that. It would be a shame if I would have to humiliate you in front of everyone, but if anyone in the back wants to try, I'll be right here. Mike Bennett, you think you can take my title? Come on and try next week. And bring your woman. Maybe next week, I'll take her to be my ring girl!"
**********
MATCHES SIGNED FOR NEXT WEEK...
WORLD CHAMPION CLAUDIO CASTAGNOLI VS. MIKE BENNETT IN A NON-TITLE MATCH
TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH: IRISH AIRBORNE (CHAMPIONS) VS. BLK (CHALLENGERS)
SIX WOMAN TAG MATCH: WOMEN'S CHAMPION CHRISTINA VON EERIE, MSCHEF & MIA YIM VS. KELLIE SKATER & THE CANADIAN NINJAS
