FROM WWE.COM WWE is shocked and deeply saddened to learn of the passing of one of the most iconic WWE Superstars ever, The Ultimate Warrior. Warrior began his WWE career in 1987 and quickly went on to become one of the biggest stars in WWE history. Warrior became WWE Champion at WrestleMania VI, defeating Hulk Hogan in an epic encounter. We are grateful that just days ago, Warrior had the opportunity to take his rightful place in the WWE Hall of Fame and was also able to appear at WrestleMania 30 and Monday Night Raw to address his legions of fans. WWE sends its sincere condolences to Warrior’s family, friends and fans. Warrior was 54 and is survived by his wife Dana and his two daughters.

Man..this sucks. So bummed for his family and friends.
I wasn't a huge mark for him, but I did like him. Bums me out.
Top ten match of all time for me was Savage vs. Warrior for the intercontinental belt. I was at the edge of my seat for that one. I wanted Savage to win so bad...alas the Warrior pulled the win and crushed my spirit...still thought it was one hell of a match. I have maybe twenty matches saved from back in the day. That is one of them.
At least he got one last run...to say good bye.

Very sad, just as he and the WWE had worked things out the unexpected happens.
RIP Warrior.

I still remember that match with the Honky Tonk Man when Warrior won his first title. I couldn't understand much of what he said most of the time. But I'm glad that he got that HOF induction. He truly deserves the honor. The Ultimate Warrior will definitely be missed.

My favorite match was when he beat Hogan to be the first WWE star to hold both the WWE & Intercontinental titles together at WrestleMania 6 (4/1/90) . RIP WARRIOR !!!

It was such a awesome moment to have to 2 top guys above all beyond all the others battle it out in a good match. I'm glad we got to hear Warrior give his side of the story before he passed. I had a moment to ponder and truly realized what he was about. He was a outsider because he did not want to follow the grain and did his things his way. I can relate to that. Still in shock. RIP Warrior. His family and friends will be in my prayers.

I still enjoy his quick squash over Honky for the IC title. Happened just as I was becoming a fan and still seared in my mind.
