There's a lot of speculation about Hulk Hogan's WWE status right now. Hogan's profile and references to Hogan have been removed from WWE's official website, his merchandise is gone from WWE Shop, and he's been removed from the Tough Enough website.
Furthermore, it appears WWE has switched Curtis Axel's gimmick back to his original character and dropped the "Axelmania" gimmick that was a parody of Hogan.
There is a 2012 philly.com article online with claims that there are more Hogan sex tapes floating around and supposedly there is footage of Hogan going on a “racist rant” that included “N-bombs.”
There is a rumor that an audio recording of Hogan is going to leak today where you could allegedly hear Hogan using the “N” word. We have not confirmed that this rumor is true but if that is why WWE has pulled Hogan from their website then I can understand where they are coming from on this.

WWE issued the following statement on Hulk Hogan, to Jimmy Traina of FOX Sports:
“WWE terminated its contract with Terry Bollea (aka Hulk Hogan). WWE is committed to embracing and celebrating individuals from all backgrounds as demonstrated by the diversity of our employees, performers and fans worldwide.”
As noted, The National Enquirer and RadarOnline revealed Hogan's racist comments made to Heather Clem, the same woman he was secretly filmed having sex with in 2012, about his daughter Brooke dating a black man. WWE has removed all mentions of Hogan, have pulled him from Tough Enough and are no longer selling his merchandise.
