I don't know about you, but I'm not planning to pay photobucket $400yr just to be able to link images to message boards. That is ludicrous! We all have worked long and hard on our creativity. I can understand about buying a paid service from them, but not 400 bucks. The link below could be of some assistance for those wanting to get out of the photobucket rat race and have your own image hosting with no restrictions on bandwidth or storage. The way I see it is that free doesn't remain free forever. And those other free sites may one day do the same approach. I'm not against free image sites and have at least a couple of others that I use as a backup for temporary use. But for the yearly price to have your own image hosting is well worth it. That's around the price of a couple of filsinger game products. This may not be much of a problem for those who don't have a lot of images for their feds. But if you're like me that has feds dating back to when Z Infinity came out, that really really sucks. And I'll be heavily busy relinking my images across the boards. I hope that this info has helped in some way. andrewminalto.com/image-hosting-explained/

Too many ads and slow, hard to log in, etc...definitely looking at other hosting sites that I can use for the boards. If I can't find one I like, I might just do without imaging and just do write ups. I got my own scrap booking with images and artwork I've done that I work on for everything now, that's more important to me than posting on boards (imo).

Also, to let everyone know. I will be going through the process of re-linking the images that I have here, including my feds. Pardon my dust while I get things more manageable and looking better. I'm currently using picload.org as a temporary image host until everything gets back to normal.
