Weird how nobody ever wants to talk about AEW. Remember when CM Punk was considered super cool for calling out WWE? Calling out AEW, not so much.

This guy would be miserable anywhere. Because he's just a miserable guy. Bad mouths everywhere he works, doesn't ever seem to be completely happy with anything. When a 40+ year old guy is still trying to be "edgy" all the time, maybe he's just an asshole.

When a 40+ year old guy is still trying to be "edgy" all the time, maybe he's just an asshole. For sure, but it’s still interesting. The whole backstage fight w the Elite was interesting - can you imagine if that had happened in WWE? I feel like it would be the biggest news of the year. Maybe people are just tired of him being in the news no matter what it is. I remember how hot things were during the Summer of Punk. I guess lighting never strikes twice in the same spot or something. If they really made him work injured…if Moxley really refused to lose to him…sure, he’s a dick but he can be right here too.

I don't know what the deal is there. If they want him to work hurt: well, wrestlers have worked hurt since wrestling began. You do business, you trust your opponent to protect you, and you move on. Mox probably should have stood his ground. He's the hot hand at the time and he needs to be protected. Punk is a made man who can lose and still come out strong. In full disclosure, I was around Punk numerous times before he was "a name" and I found him to be an overbearing personality that wanted everything to be about him and everything to be his way, well before he was a star. Now I'm sure it's even worse. His brother, who he has trashed and made accusations about on documentary shows, by contrast was a real cool guy. So go figure. Who gets to tell the "real story"? The more famous guy I guess.

I loved Moxley before he became "famous", his time in Dragon Gate was epic. His promos were nothing short of awesome and believable. Now, not so much... he's STONE COLD 2.0 and frankly I'm tired of him.

Rumor is Punk is returning to the company but won’t be on Dynamite, instead he will be the star of a new Saturday show where he will be kept separate from the Elite, who don’t want to work with him.
Strange if true.

I'm sort of guessing when Omega's contract is up, he'll most likely re-sign with company? I maybe reading into that too much? But planning another show with Punk so he doesn't work with the Elite makes me believe Omega isn't planning on going anywhere? Logical?

Can't work with Scotty Boy, can't work with Elite, Jericho and he don't like each other. Who are they going to put on Saturday Night Phil who can draw a number or work main event matches? Well, I suppose AEW does have like 237 wrestlers under contract, but it gets pretty thin after the first 20-30. Maybe he can just do a one hour tour de force variety show with sit down interviews and sketch comedy.

Even with a large roster, the majority doesn't want to work with him or are uncomfortable with him in the company. This just reeks of TK being the ultimate fanboy of Punk and trying to squeeze whatever money out of that guy he can. Looks pathetic and weak.
