(1:03) After at least 30 seconds of the wild brawl, HEW General Manager Tim Shaw comes down to ringside and grabs a mike.
TIM SHAW: Security, get these wrestlers separated now! (It takes another 30 seconds to separate both groups.) You two teams want to go at it, you can do it this Friday at the Sorg Opera House during
WRESTLE-THON. And just to make both sides even, since your team is two members short, Mr. Nichols, you can choose any team on the roster to join you this Friday. One stipulation, though. I want this rivalry to end on Friday night, so I'm making it a Texas Death Elimination Match. And by the way, neither Portia nor Bobbi Jo Jablonski will be part of your respective teams this Friday because Bobbi Jo will be defending the HEW Ladies title against Heather Divine since Portia will be facing Amber O'Neal in a Barbed Wire Cage Match. With that said, security, get this ring cleared right now!

The camera cuts backstage to the locker room area, where Quentin Lee is standing outside with HEW Television Shaun Blaise.
QUENTIN LEE: Shaun Blaise, coming up after this next match is the Dash for the Gold match to determine who will be facing you for your HEW Television championship. Among the participants, is there anyone you're hoping to face?
SHAUN BLAISE: To tell you the truth, I don't really care who wins the match, because I'm going to walk into the Sorg Opera House in Middletown the HEW Television champion, and I'm going to leave the Sorg with the HEW Television title.
QUENTIN LEE: I've been hearing talk from the other Shawn Blaze saying that he's going to win the match and then leave you in the ring on Friday counting the lights while he walks away the new champion, what are your thoughts on that?
SHAUN BLAISE: Let that little pipsqueak talk out of his [censored] all he wants. He still has to win his way into the title match this Friday before he can think about winning the title match this Friday. ("Simply Sexy" Shawn Blaze walks onto the set.)
SHAWN BLAZE: In case you haven't figured it out by now, little boy, this promotion ain't big enough for two Shawn Blazes.
SHAUN BLAISE: Fine, then announce that you're asking for your release and get on with it.
SHAWN BLAZE: Oh, the only one who's going to be leaving the HEW is you, boy. But first, I'm going to take everything you've got, starting with your HEW Television title, and then when I've taken that, I'll put you out of the HEW for good. Enjoy your last days as champions...(Shawn slaps Shaun's cheek, hard) boy. (Shawn leaves the interview area as Shaun checks his face for blood.)
SHAUN BLAISE: Now it's on, Quentin. I hope he wins the Dash for the Gold match tonight, because this Friday he's going to be a dead man walking. (Shaun walks away from the interview set.)
QUENTIN LEE: Let's get you back to the ring for our next match-up.
GUMBO MALONE: The following special attraction tag team match is scheduled for one fall. Coming to the ring with their manager, Patrick Black, at a total combined weight of 405 pounds, Rory Fox and Dick Rick. (Both Rory and Dick are bathed in the fans jeers as they enter the ring.) And their opponents, first from Dayton, Ohio, weighing in at 270 pounds, Matt Shock.
(Shock gets a big pop as he walks to the ring and stands outside, waiting for his tag partner.) And his tag team partner, coming to the ring with his manager, Tina Ambrose, from Vandalia, Ohio and weighing 300 pounds, the HEW Heavyweight champion, the "Barnestormer" David Barnes (The fans go literally nuts as David stands at the entrance and performs his signature "dog fight" hand gesture. He walks to the end of the aisle where Matt is standing and shakes his hand,
and then walks around ringside until he sees a 5-year old blonde-haired girl. He takes the wings off of his bomber jacket and pins them on her and then gives her a salute before entering the ring. As he climbs to the middle rope and begins to perform another "dog fight" gesture, Rory clubs him from behind with a running forearm to the back while Dick Rick clotheslines Shock over the top rope and out onto the floor.)
*
Rory Fox and Dick Rick defeated the team of the "Barnestormer" David Barnes and Matt Shock when Rory pinned Shock with the TRL SLAM. (4:30) After the match, Benjamin Kimera and Shawn Osborne enter the ring so that the Black Militia could attempt a gang assault on David and Matt, but the B Squad and Monsters and Dragons quickly enter the ring, causing the Militia to scurry out of the ring. Matt Dreez grabs the mike from Gumbo Malone.
MATT DREEZ: Hey, Black. You seem to like having the upper hand when you've got somebody out-numbered, but what do you say tomorrow on
Wednesday Night Wars we see how good you are when the sides are all evened up. Me, the Black Dragon and the B Squad challenge all four of your boys to a 8-Man tag team match. And make no mistake about it, somebody's gonna die tomorrow night![/li]
CHRIS KURTIS: Oh my God! We've got an 8-Man tag match tomorrow night on
Wednesday Night Wars. The B Squad and Monsters and Dragons will be taking on the Black Militia. Fans, we've got to take our final commercial break, but when we come back, it's going to be a Dash for the Gold in our main event to determine who will challenge Shaun Blaise for the HEW Television title at
WRESTLE-THON.
GUMBO MALONE: Ladies and gentlemen, this is our main event on this week's
HEW RUSH. It is a Dash for the Gold match to determine the number one contender for the HEW Television title this Friday at the Sorg Opera House in Middletown, Ohio during the
Wrestle-Thon cyber pay-per-view. The rules for the match are as follows:
All wrestlers begin outside the ring and will compete in a "reverse battle royal," where you must attempt to enter the ring. Once there are four wrestlers in the ring, a Fatal Four-Way elimination match will be held with those four wrestlers in the ring until there are two wrestlers remaining. Those two remaining wrestlers will fight it out in a no disqualification,
no count out match where the only way to win is by submission only. Let's meet the participants for this match. The first participant, from Bangor, Maine, weighing 200 pounds, "Simply Sexy" Shawn Blaze. (The crowd gives Shawn a lot of heat as he walks down the aisle.)
