VIDCAM: GWFZ wrestler Pride bumps into American Guy in the locker room area.
American Guy: What are you doing here?
Pride: I’m looking for Mark.
American Guy: Figures. It’s bad enough he signed us to wrestle in a 6-man tag match with you in the GWFZ. Now he’s inviting you to come backstage at GalaxyMania.
Pride: Well, actually he didn’t invite me. Star Warrior invited all the GWFZ trainees to the show, and except for Ensor, we’re all here.
American Guy (sarcastically): Yea for you guys. You get to watch real wrestlers up close. So what exactly are you doing backstage?
Pride: I was just stopping by to say hi to Mark and wish him luck in the battle royal.

Cuddley Claw (yawning): Hello again, sweetheart.
Lorelei: Hey Claw!
Cuddley Claw winks at Lorelei, walks over to the other side of the locker room, and falls asleep in a chair.
Valour: Sweetheart? What was that all about? How do you know that weirdo?
Lorelei: I met him when I wrestled at that GWFZ show last week. And he’s not weird.
Valour: Why did he call you sweetheart?
Lorelei: Relax Valour; you need to worry about Nosfera right now.
Valour: I’m going to destroy that demon!
Titan Death Match Valour vs. Nosfera - Short encounter, with half of the match taking place outside the ring. Valour has a VIOLENT OUTBURST and gets the pin. (**) Winner: Valour
United Stars Title Match Steele Freak (ch) vs. The Bomb - The Bomb hits a few moves, but his lack of singles experience shows, as Freak takes the upper hand. Match spills to the outside, where Steele Freak gets himself disqualified, (** 1/2) Winner by disqualification: The Bomb
VIDCAM: Commissioner Massif is sitting behind his desk when GWFZ jobber Hegemony walks in.
Hegemony: Mr. Commissioner Massif, sir, I hereby proclaim my immediate availability to become an active participant in the GWF.
Massif: Who the hell are you?
Hegemony: I’m Hegemony, the most intellectual wrestler in the GWFZ, and soon to be the GWF.
Massif: Wait a minute, aren’t you’re that annoying little punk that never shuts up?
Hegemony: I do proclaim sir, that is an incorrect assessment. I am needed here in the GWF. I’m smart, I use big words!
Massif: Good for you Mrs. Dictionary. Now get the hell out of my office!
Hegemony: Mr. Massif, you lack tranquility. I can…
An angry Massif gets up out of his chair and the cowardly Hegemony quickly makes his escape! As Hegemony heads down the hallway away from the Commissioner’s office, Dead Ringer walks up behind him.
Dead Ringer: Look at me!
A startled Hegemony turns around.
Dead Ringer: You’re pathetic!!

VIDCAM: The backstage catering room.
Numerous GWF stars of the past and present are hanging out in the room, which has several large holovision screens hanging on the wall so everyone can follow the action in the ring.
Star Warrior, Alpha Force, Chaos, Janus and Matador of M83 are enjoying a laugh in one corner of the room.
Max Shield, Lord Nexus, Tristan and The Legacy are sitting together at a table in the opposite corner talking.
The Surgeon walks into the room and begins to get a plate of food, when he spies Tristan. The young Titan looks up and sees Surgeon eying him. The Surgeon then makes a throat-slitting gesture to Tristan, before quickly tossing more food on his plate and leaving the room.
The Master Race and Rage & Paralyze are in the ring for their match. Just before the match gets underway, Bloodline and Encubus make their way down to the ring.
Encubus: Sorry to delay the start of this epic battle, but I’ve got a little information you all might find interesting. Bloodline and I have been talking to Massif in the back, and since we don’t have a match tonight, he agreed to our proposal. Tell ‘em, Bloodline.
Bloodline: Whoever leaves this ring as the champions, gets to face us on WarZone!

NB Card 79 - GWF WARZONE Astral Gardens, Fomalhaut
VIDCAM: Backstage before the show.
Ensor: I should have been there. Maybe I could have done something.
Tauran: There’s nothing you could have done. And you’ve got to get over your disappointment at Star Warrior. It’s getting in the way of your training.
Ensor: I know, but I just couldn’t bring myself to come to GalaxyMania with him. It would have been betraying my principles.
Tauran: No one is perfect, Ensor. Just because Star Warrior was your hero as a child doesn’t mean he is infallible as a human being. We all have things we wish we hadn’t done. You can’t hold Star Warrior to a higher standard.
Ensor: I understand what you’re saying, but it’s not that easy.
Tauran: Anyway, so Endgame’s out of action for awhile, leaving us 1 man short. Are you up to filling in?
Ensor: Am I ever! Joining the FDF is my dream!
Tauran: I knew you’d jump at the chance to help.
Ensor: I’d do anything for Endgame. He’s my true hero now.
Tauran: You’re going to take his place tonight against Sly Drury. Nothing like jumping into your first GWF match against a former champ.

It proved to be a long, brutal match, with lots of out of the ring activity. Monolith missed his finisher, giving Disaster an opening. The Aethran failed to capitalize, however. Shortly thereafter, Monolith's attempt at THE END OF ALL THINGS is successful, and he gets the win. (**** 1/2) Winner: Monolith
Hydra Lumberjack Match Swarm vs. Tanck ~ Lumberjacks (Panther Warrior, Dead Ringer, Antak, Plethador, Slave Beast, Scimitar, Amazing Mann, Tricks) - Another back and forth match, with both men getting battered by the lumberjacks. Galactic Tag Team Title Match Rage & Paralyze (ch) vs. Divided We Fall - Encubus starts things off with Rage and gains the upper hand. Ensor: It was an honor, Endgame.
Tauran: You really did a great job; you have tons of potential.
Anivar: And beating Sly Drury, that was awesome!
Ensor: Thanks guys, this has been a cool experience. I’ll go back to the GWFZ and keep working and hopefully I’ll be back in the GWF soon.
Sly Drury suddenly appears from out of nowhere.
Sly Drury: Wait just a damn minute, junior.
Ensor: What?
Sly Drury: You’ve got one thing right kid; you are going back to the GWFZ and probably for good. However, before you return to the minor leagues where you belong, you and I have a little unfinished business to attend to. So, I had a little chat with good old Commissioner Massif and he wisely granted my request.
Tauran: What are you talking about, Drury?
Anivar: Yeah, get to the point before the enforcer goes into action.
Sly Drury: Enforcer? Haha, some enforcer. But fine, I’ll get to the point. At Cosmic Clash, it’s going to be Sly Drury versus Ensor, if you’ve got the guts, kid. It’ll be the beginning, and the end, of your GWF career. You’re going back to the GWFZ all right, but I’ll be sending you back in a wheelchair.
