I'm really glad to hear about the positive results of Swarm's liver test and that the doctors determined he can accept a normal heart as he awaits his impending heart transplant.
Thanks for keeping us updated Payback.

It's good to hear that he is in as good of hands as he's in. Best of Luck, Rob. I'll be keeping you my prayers. And echoing everyone else, thanks for the updates, Brett.

Latest update, Rob has been moved to the ICU as I guess is customary to heart donor recipients so if they get one, they can take him to the O.R. immediately.
He said that if they don't get a heart that is a match for him within about 10 days, they will send him home with some special medicine that will help keep his heart pumping blood then wait for a heart.
He said if they found one tonight, he would have the transplant tonight.
He is in good spirits and is hoping to get his transplant soon so he can recover in time to make it to GCon.

Yeah, G-Con w/o Swarm wouldn't be the same.

I haven't been on the boards as much the last few weeks, so this is the first I've seen of this. I will be praying for ya, buddy, and hope that all turns out well. Thanks, Payback, for all the updates.

Have been talking to Rob just about everyday (said today how he got a kick out of what Vince said on SportsCenter about the Nuggets owner).
There hasn't been much change. They are gonna move him out of ICU but still keep his status as A1 so he remains at the top of the list for a heart.
Basically it's just a waiting game until they find a match for him.
I'll keep you posted.

That's terrible being in the hospital so long. I take it he has cable, at least.
