Update: Well, after two days home I'm not feeling much different. Tired...limited...to be honest a little disapointed to be home. After 30 + days in the hospital I really wanted to get this over with. I spent time in 5 different rooms at the hospital, did the math and was stabbed or poked 93 times (3 times a day) with Heperin shots (if anyone has ever had one of these you are cringing like a MF'er right now; think of a bee sting, that's what they feel like. All in the stomach. This is to avoid blood clots while laying in bed most of the time), 93 times for basic blood labs (3 times a day), and probably 20 some numerous other shots, so roughly over 200 times in the last 31 days. My arms are riddled with bruises, sores and dead veins. They waked me up every day at 4:30 am to weigh me, again at 5:30 to take my days first blood draw, and again at 6:30 for my days first medicine dose. That was my routine for over a month, every single day. I had a liver biopsi where they stick a foot long needle into your back between two ribs and into my liver, cutting off a peice of liver from me for research (which turned out good). So I guess in that respect, I'm glad I'm home cause I don't have to do any of that at least for a week - but the crazy thing is, I never got cooped up, irritated, annoyed, stir crazy or lost my mind in there. I want to get this thing done so bad none of that stuff bothered me even for a second. I have no idea how I didn't lose my mind, but I didn't. Somebody was watching over me for sure I figure. Thanks again (I could thank you guys 1000 times and it wouldn't be enough) for all the kind words, prayers and words of encouragment. I truly believe those kinds of things have a great hand in helping people like me cope with things like this. In the past two days, along with all the wonderful things all of you have said here, Joe called me up and we talked for over an hour, my buddy Matt Dickendesher checked in, Tom checks in regularly either by phone or email, one of my best friends growing up Chad called me up for over an hour to check in on me and six or seven older friends from Quicken and my old gym have offered to come by and visit. Plus of course lots of family popping in to see me. My gf has been here with me the last two days of course giving me full support and cooking awesome food for me. It really is a blessing to have so many people who care. I'm feeling like having a card today - my last GWFZ card of 2123. I played 2 cards in the hospital and they were historic. Assassin Z unseated Overtime convincingly to capture the GWFZ Title and send OT packing at PROMOTER MADNESS (as he will enter my GWF full time in 2124) and in IMPOSSIBLE TOURNAMENT Z3, G.Q. Stratus won the whole thing after beating out Narcotik, Assassin Z (c), and Ensor in the Finals. After successfully defending new new title vs. Status in the first match of the Finals, the crowd erupted after Ensor captured his first ever GWFZ Title beating Assassin Z in a 5 star match and probably the best match of the whole tournament. The reign didn't last long as after defending the belt vs. Narcotik, Ensor lost it to G.Q. Stratus after PIN USING ROPES. The last match came down to Assassin Z and Narcotik. Has Z won he would have walked away from ITZ3 as the winner (with a 2-1 tie breaker over Stratus) but not the belt. Narcotik hit NEEDLE AND THE SPOON and got the win, giving Stratus both the GWFZ Title and the ITZ3 victory. Quite an impressive year end win for the dirtiest alien in the game. So today maybe I'll bust the dice out for my last Z card of the year so I can get back into the GWF and prepared for all the amazing and off the wall things that are coming in 2124! Peace~ Swarm

Swarm, you're a real trooper, and you've shown us an amazing attitude going through what you have so far. Something for us all to learn from, for sure. Keep up the good fight, I'm pulling for you buddy.

Swarm,
That's quite an ordeal you've been going through. But it's good to see you back on the board and I hope you get your new heart soon.

Wow you brought the game to the hospital with you, I am not shocked now that I think about it. Only 2 cards though slacker. Well hopefully well see you in Jamestown in July.
