MsChif (1-0) defeated Mia Yim (0-1) with the Desecrator. The ladies of honor kicked things off in a big way, as they showed they are more than "divas" in this hard hitting (and kicking) match. MsChif got the pin in a bout that could have gone either way.The Briscoe Brothers showed up in the ring to rally the crowd. Jay said they've got these Synergy belts right now and that means their better than the best in TWO different companies. That's why they decided to sit out this here ROH tag team title tournament. But whoever wins this b!tch had better be ready to tangle with dem boys. But, Jay said, first he intends to go into tonight's main event, beat three other guys in a four-way match, and go on to whip Kevin Steen's @!! for the ROH championship and become a double titleholder. Truth Martini interrupted the proceedings by telling Mark and Jay that he had listened to his own genius and brought together the perfect team to represent the House Of Truth in the tournament. The two greatest forces of human nature will prove to be the most unstoppable force in ROH and your next tag team champions. Truth Martini presents "Sex And Violence", Rhett Titus and Rhino. Sex And Violence w/Truth Martini (1-0) defeated Coleman and Alexander (0-1) in a tag team title tournament match when Rhett used the Muff Diver on Coleman. Coleman and Alexander wowed the crowd with some good double team stuff, but Truth seemed right as Rhino and Rhett looked almost unstoppable togehter. Rhino mowed down Coleman and tagged out to Rhett to put the finishing touches on him for the win.Tomasso Ciampa (1-0) defeated Jay Lethal (0-1) with Project Ciampa in a match with interesting interactions before and after the bout. Tomasso extended his hand for the code of honor to begin the bout, and Lethal reciprocated. However, Jay immediately went for a double leg and took the early advantage on the questionably cheap start. Ciampa came back and used a series of brutal knees in the corner to set up Project Ciampa for the pin. Afterwards the icy Tomasso extended his hand once again, but Lethal slapped it away and left.Homicide (1-0) defeated Eddie Edwards (0-1) with da Gringo Killer. By the midway point of the match fans were chanting "this is awesome", and it was. Homicide put a beating on Eddie, but Edwards came back and hit the DIEHARD. However, the exhausted Eddie couldn't make the cover in time to get the pin. Homicide came back and used Da Gringo Killer to get the win.Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team (1-0) defeated The Young Bucks (0-1) in a tag team title tournament match when Haas made Nick submit to the Haas Of Pain. The Bucks wore Chikara t-shirts to the ring and Nick was wearing a neon yellow and pink zebra printed bandana around his leg (Why may that worth noting? filsingergames.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=chikara&thread=11353&page=2#144387 for the answer). This bout was a little shorter than expected, but still very good. Haas had the submission before Matt even had time to react and the bout was over just like that.Davey Richards (1-0) beat Michael Elgin (0-1) in a spectacular match. Elgin knocked Davey silly, but Richards came back pulled out his suplex arsenal on the much larger man. He finished it with an unbelievable German Suplex for the pin.ROH champion Kevin Steen entered the ring accompanied by Corino and Jacobs. He said he'd caused problems for ROH, brought havoc to Chikara, and he'll go anywhere he damn well pleases and do the same thing. Steen had a warning for Synergy champion Eddie Kingston that they weren't done by a longshot and went on to say that whoever wins tonight's main event will be facing their worst nightmare because he'll do whatever it takes to make sure ROH is held captive by Kevin Steen and SCUM for as long as it amuses him to do so. The introductions for the 4-way main event were underway when Tomasso Ciampa attacked Mike Bennett in the aisle on the way to the ring. Ciampa brutalized Bennett as Maria screamed for help. Officials and security did eventually step in, but the damage was done and the Prodigy had to be helped to the back. After some discussion between ROH officials, it was determined that the main event would go on as a triple threat match. El Generico beat Roderick Strong and Jay Briscoe in a triple threat match to become number one contender and earn a shot at the ROH championship. This match was anyone's to win, as each man got to showcase his best stuff. Jay had the pin on Generico after the Jay Driller, but it was broken up by Strong. Strong tossed Jay out of the ring and went for the kill, but it was not to be as Generico made his comeback and hit the Brainbustaaaah! for the win.

ROH: Synergy #2 Truth Martini entered the ring with Michael Elgin. He said the House Of Truth is ready to dominate ROH and then the world, and the first part of that mission begins when Sex And Violence win the ROH tag team championship. In the meantime, Elgin is about to eliminate one-half of the Synergy tag team champions and clear part of their path to the top. Mark Briscoe (1/1DQ-0) won by disqualification over Unbreakable Michael Elgin (0-2/1DQ) when Truth pulled the referee out of the ring on a pin attemtp after "red neck kung fu". Briscoe held his own against the larger, stronger Elgin. IN fact, he went on top for the pin when Truth got nervous and (arguably prematurely) interfered. After the match Elgin was upset with Truth, and questioned why he was being used as an enforcer for Truth's new pet project tag team.SCUM (1-0) defeated 3.0 (0-1) to advance in the ROH tag team title tournament when Corino pinned Matthews following the Old School Lariat. The 3.0 team of Matthews and Parker represented Chikara in this match, and Chikara was well represented. They nearly got the victory, but the Jimmy Jacobs railroad spike came into play while Corino had the ref distracted. Jacobs tagged out and Corino got the pin after his signature lariat.Kevin Kelly interviewed Sicilian Psychopath Tomasso Ciampa about his seemingly unprovoked attack on Mike Bennett that cost Bennett a shot at the ROH championship. Kelly asked simply "why?". Ciampa, with characteristic icy stare, said simply "because I can." Kyle O'Reilly (1-0) beat Tomasso Ciampa (1-1) thanks to interference from Brutal Bob Evans. Ciampa had O'Reilly up for Project Ciampa when Brutal Bob reached in from the floor and pulled his legs out from under him. Kyle fell on top and Brutal Bob held Ciampa's leg for good measure as the referee counted the pin. After the match an irrate Ciampa chased Bob down the aisle and out of the building.Jay Lethal and Adam Cole (1-0) defeated The American Wolves (0-1) in a tag team title tournament match when Cole pinned Davey with a top rope bodypress. An upset win by Cole spoiled the return of the American Wolves. Lethal did not hesitate to take the action to the floor and brawl, bending the rules to the point of breaking on several occasions. However, it was Cole who did the "heavy lifting" in the ring, took the punishment, and made the big comeback for the win.; a fact that did not keep an excitable Jay from celebrating as if they'd already won the belts."No Fear" Mike Mondo (1/1DQ-0) won by disqualification over Prodigy Mike Bennett w/Maria (0-1/1DQ) when Ciampa interferred. An exciting match was cut short by Tomasso Ciampa. Mondo went on a roll and tossed Bennett out of the ring. He turned to flirt with Maria and the Sicilian Psycopath jumped him from behind. He tossed Mondo out of the ring and the ref called for the bell. With that done, Ciampa grabbed Bennett, tossed him back into the ring, and finished him with Project Ciampa.Roderick Strong w/Truth Martini (1-0) defeated Jay Briscoe (0-1) in the match of the night. Jay came into the match in a bad mood, holding a grudge against Strong for breaking up the pin in the triple threat match that would have gotten him tonight's main event. That was bad news for Strong who got pushed to the absolute limit before finally getting the pin after the End Of Heartache.El Generico (1/1DQ-0) won by disqualification over Kevin Steen (0-1/1DQ) in a ROH world title match. Generico wrestled like a man possessed in his bid to take the title from his longtime rival. He set Steen up for "brainbustaaah!" when Corino and Jacobs jumped in to stop him. The beatdown commenced until Mike Quackenbush and Jigsaw* rushed in from the crowd to even the sides and help Generico fight off SCUM.*editor's note: A little payback for this filsingergames.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=chikara&thread=11353&page=2#143735 o'woeful Chikara:Synergy non-readers. -Mirthful Mark

ROH Television countdown to Final Battle 2012: 4 Authority figure Nigel McGuinness entered the ring. He said he was disgusted by the way the last show went down and he's here to do something about it. First, if Ciampa and Bennett want each other so bad, they can get what they want at Final Battle. HOWEVER, they're both banned from ROH TV until then for their recent actions. Furthermore, the interference by SCUM to save Kevin Steen in the ROH title match was entirely unacceptable. El Generico sent a message to ROH offices, and Nigel couldn't decipher most of it. One phrase came through loud and clear though, and Nigel has to agree: Generico, Steen, Fight Without Honor at Final Battle. The Young Bucks (1-1) beat C And C Wrestle Factory (0-2) when Nick pinned Caprice after More Bang For Your Buck. An incredible tag team match ensued after Nigel's speech. This was text book back and forth tag team action, with the Bucks controlling the opening minutes until the big comeback and tag by Cedric. Stereo dives from C And C to the Bucks on the floor made it look like the win was immanent, but the Bucks sneaked back in with a cheap shot on Caprice that led to the win.Kyle O'Reilly (2-0) defeated Adam Page (0-1) with the Guillotine Choke. O'Reilly would not respect Page with the code of honor to start the match. Page got in a few good moves early, but O'Reilly came back right away and got the win in about three minutes. Afterwards Kyle honored the code, but dismissively patted Page on the head and said "keep trying, kid".The "Inside Ring Of Honor" segment with Kevin Kelly recapped the problems between Mondo and Ciampa, and hyped their match at Final Battle. The tag team tournament results so far were also discussed, with the announcement that the finals would take place at Final Battle. No Fear Mike Mondo (2/1DQ-0) beat Grizzly Redwood (0-1)with the No Fear DDT. Grizzly took the fight to Mondo right away, and made a good match of it. He nearly picked up the upset with the Wood Chipper, but Mondo fought back and won it with his own version of the DDT.Sex And Violence w/Truth Martini (2/1dq-0) won by disqualification over SCUM (1-1/1DQ) in a tag team title tournament match. The end came when Corino reached into his trunks and pulled out a chain. He wrapped it around his first and clocked Rhino. Rhino fell to one knee and Corino cocked back to blast him again. Titus jumped in from behind and held Corino's arm back to prevent him from hitting Rhino. The referee saw the chain wrapped around Corino's fist and called for the disqualification.Announced lineup for Final Battle 2012: Main Event: Fight Without Honor for the ROH championshipKevin Steen v. ROH Television Countdown to Final Battle: 3 Du Burns Arena, Baltimore, MD Homicide (2-0) pinned BLK Jeez (0-1) after Da Gringo Killa. Jeez sneaked in a few quick moves in the opening moments, but Homicide took control and never looked back. He beat down Jeez for a few minutes before scoring the easy pin.Inside Ring Of Honor segment with Kevin Kelly highlighted the tag team title tournament. A pre-taped interview with Mike Quackenbush and Jigsaw was inserted. Quackenbush said that Corino and Jacobs have been causing problems for Chikara and it would be a shame, now that they've been eliminated from the tag team title tournament, for them to have nothing to do at Final Battle. Jigsaw said they intend to help keep Jacobs and Corino out of their friend El Generico's business with Steen by taking them down in a tag team match before Generico wins his Fight Without Honor with Steen. "If 'the princess and the pauper' are man enough to accept," Quackenbush added to end the segment. Jay Lethal and Adam Cole (2-0) beat Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team (1-1) in a tag team title tournament match. This was a textbook tag team match. Lethal started out against Benjamin and ended up on the receiving end of an extended double team assault. He made the "hot tag" out to Cole, who cleaned house. Cole went for the pin but Benjamin broke it up. Lethal got him out of the ring and took the tag. Jay hit Lethal Injection and got the win for his team.ROH champion Kevin Steen appeared in the ring and called out matchmaker Nigel McGuinness. Steen produced a piece of paper from the back of his shorts and Nigel asked him to make sure he performs better toilet hygiene before coming to the ring next time. Steen was not amused by Nigel's bad joke and said the paper was a waiver of liability. He said this waiver releases him from any legal obligations stemming from what he is going to do to El Generico at Final Battle. Furthermore, unless Generico signs it and ROH recognizes it as valid, there is no main event. He shoved the paper at Nigel's chest and Nigel snatched it away before reminding Steen that he is not in charge in ROH regardless of what he thinks. However, McGuinness said, he'll play along and he doesn't think Generico will have a problem at all signing this "worthless piece of paper". He did warn however, that it works both ways and Generico won't be held responsible for what he does to Steen, either. Davey Richards (2-0) defeated Roderick Strong (1-1) with Truth Martini. Strong worked over the back, as he is inclined to do, until Davey got his spot to lay in the kicks. Chops by Strong were reciprocated by Davey until the chests of both men were red and welted. Finally Davey slapped on the ankle lock and got the submission while Truth was ineffective in distracting the referee from ringside.Announced lineup for Final Battle 2012: Main Event: Fight Without Honor for the ROH championship Kevin Steen v. ROH Television Countdown To Final Battle: 2 Baltimore, MD Eddie Edwards (1-1) defeated Zombie Princess Jimmy Jacobs (0-1). Jacobs put up a fight, but Eddie put him down with a jarring double knee strike to set up the pin.Truth Martini entered the ring and discussed his "two-prong attack": first, Strong and Elgin take out the Briscoe Brothers so they're no threat to the tag team championship. Then the centerpiece of the House Of Truth, the team of Sex And Violence, Rhett Titus and Rhino beat Cole and Lethal to become the new ROH tag team champions. Truth promised that, with the Briscoes out of the way, it'll be a reign without end. But first, it's time for Rhino to soften up half of the opposition. Adam Cole (1-0) defeated Rhino (0-1) in comeback fashion with a rollup out of the corner. Rhino basically beat up the smaller and less experienced Cole. He went for his big charge in the corner, but Cole moved and Rhino ate the turnbuckle hard. Cole rolled him up and got the quick pin. After the bell Adam Cole rolled to the floor favoring his ribs as Rhino went ballistic in the ring.Inside Ring Of Honor with Kevin Kelly recapped the history between El Generico and Kevin Steen and all of the events over the past few years leading up to their Fight Without Honor at Final Battle. Davey Richards (3-0) beat Kyle O'Reilly (2-1) after ringing his bell with the "alarm clock". Davey attempted to follow the code of honor to start the match, but Kyle spat at him. That got things kicked off in heated fashion, with the JJJO and his former protege trading hard kicks and forearm strikes. Davey eventually got the pin and again attempted to follow the code after the bell. Kyle, on one knee recovering from the finishing blow, reached up and accepted the handshake without making eye contact with Richards.Mark and Jay Brisoce entered the ring to talk about House Of Truth. Jay was the spokesman for the team as usual, and said he wasn't sure if Truth Martini was serious or not. He said there's no way he can expect Elgin and Strong to stop "dem boys" from doing anything they damn well please, up to and including taking the ROH tag team championship from whoever wins that tournament. Then he questioned if Strong and Elgin lost a valuable part of their manhood, playing lackey for Truth and his new pet team. Roddy and Elgin apparently were listening, because they hit the ring and the fight was on. Security poured out from the back to break it up and Nigel McGuinness showed up to make sure it stayed broken up. He said if they want to fight each other so badly, there's no better place to do it than two weeks from now at Final Battle. Jay Lethal (1-1) beat Charlie Haas (0-1) with a springboard DDT. Haas requested this match to avenge his loss as part of WGTT in the tag team title tournament. He failed to do so, as Lethal once again managed to get the pin. Haas attacked after the bell and locked in HAAS OF PAIN. Adam Cole finally ran out to make the save. After everything had calmed down Lethal was upset with Cole for not getting out there sooner. Kevin Kelly on commentary noted the dissension in the ranks and wondered if they could overcome it at Final Battle to become new ROH tag team champions.Announced lineup for Final Battle 2012: Main Event: Fight Without Honor for the ROH championship Kevin Steen v. Live event WNC Ag Center, Fletcher, NC Countdown To Final Battle: 1 Michael Elgin (1-1/1dq) w/Truth Martini defeated No Fear Mike Mondo (2/1dq-1). Mondo had Elgin in trouble after the No Fear DDT and went for the pin. Truth reached in and pulled Elgin's leg over the bottom rope to break the pin. Mondo turned to yell at Truth and Elgin recovered to use the spinning sitout power bomb for the win.Grizzly Redwood (1-1) upset Kyle O'Reilly (2-2) when Kyle paid the price for not honoring the code. Kyle acted like he was going for the handshake to start the match, but tried a leg dive instead. Grizzly somehow managed to avoid and hit the little boot for a quick two count. Kyle got up and got put right back down with the Wood Chipper to give Grizzly the quick win.Shelton Benjamin (1-0) pinned Eddie Edwards (1-2) after a turnbuckle power bomb. The match got off to a fast-paced start and never really had time to settle down before it was over. Eddie got back dropped over the top rope and Shelton hit a dive that seemed to injure Eddie. Edwards rolled back into the ring, but the next move led to the pin and the win for Benjamin.Roderick Strong (2/1dq-1) w/Truth defeated TJ Perkins (0-1/1dq) via a countout. TJ had a good debut, but Roderick pulled out all the stops for the win. Perkins kicked out of two sick kicks and reached the ropes for the break on the Stronghold. A frustrated Strong tossed him out of the ring and used a backbreaker over the railing to get the countout.Homicide entered the ring to complain that no one had the guts to show up and face him tonight, so he may just pick someone out of the crowd to beat up instead. He figured that would get him arrested (again) so he said he could take out his frustrations on Todd Sinclair and "the company man" wouldn't have the guts to press charges. As he was mulling over his options Delirious made a surprise appearance to take the decision into his own hands. Homicide (3-0) defeated Delirious (0-1) with Da Gringo Killah. Delirous hit a wild kick and a back suplex right off the bat. Homicide shook off the panic attack and hit a pair of piledriver followed by a lariat to set up his devastating finisher for the win.Tomasso Ciampa (2-1) beat Brutal Bob Evans (0-1) with a running knee in the corner. Brutal Bob stepped into the ring for a rare wrestling appearance to try to soften up his protege Mike Bennett's Final Battle opponent. He got a few shots in and looked solid, but Ciampa was a man on a mission. The Sicilian got the impressive win after knocking Bob silly with a knee in the corner.Kevin Steen (1-1/1dq) pinned Rhino (0-2) in a non-title match. Rhino didn't seem to care that the title was not on the line, he brought out everything he had in an effort to beat the champ and step in line for a future title shot. Rhino hit the GORE but Steen kicked out at 2-and-3-quarters. Rhino went to the top rope in an uncharacteristic move, but missed an attempted flying shoulder. Steen took advantage to use the Package Piledriver for the victory.NEXT: Final Battle 2012Main Event: Fight Without Honor for the ROH championship Kevin Steen v. FINAL BATTLE 2012
No Fear Mike Mondo (3/1dq-1) defeated Kyle O'Reilly (2-3) in a solid opening contest. Kyle's hit a bit of slump here, dropping his last three in a row after a strong start. Mondo resisted tapping out and made his comeback, finishing with the No Fear DDT for the win.Mike Quackenbush and Jigsaw (1/1dq-0) won by disqualification over SCUM (1-2/2dq). These teams were very evenly matched, both in terms of ability and years of experience of the participants. Corino and Quackenbush put on a nice display of wrestling to get it started, then Jigsaw took to the sky. Jacobs brought it to the floor and things spiraled out of control. The ref called for the bell after Corino introduced a chair into the proceedings against Jigsaw. Quackenbush made the save with a chair of his own and SCUM headed for the safety of the locker room area. The Prodidy Mike Bennett (1-1/1dq) defeated Tommaso Ciampa (2-2) thanks to interference by Maria and Brutal Bob. Ciampa was setting up for Project Ciampa when Maria got on the ring apron to distract the referee. Brutal Bob slid in from the opposite side and used a low blow on Ciamap. Bennett fell on top and got the pin.The Briscoe Brothers (1-0) beat Roderick Strong and Michael Elgin (0-1) when Jay pinned Elgin. This was a tag team war and the Briscoe were more the last men standing than they were the winners. Mark used his redneck kung fu on Strong, then the Briscoe used the spike Jay Driller on Elgin to put and end to the proceedings and give "dem boys" the win.Homicide entered the ring to complain that he didn't have a match on the biggest show of the year even though he's been doing nothing but beating everyone they put in the ring with him. He called out matchmaker Nigel McGuinness and began degrading both Nigel's matchmaking ability and ROH in general. He was interrupted by Davey Richards who said they have something in common: they've both been beating everyone in sight and they're both frustrated they don't have a match scheduled. He told Nigel the way he sees it there's just one thing to do about it. Nigel said Davey didn't even need to finish the thought, because he agreed. Nigel stepped out of the ring, told Sinclair to ring the bell, and it was on. Davey Richards (4-0) beat Homicide (3-1) in a previously unscheduled match. Fantastic. Both men apparently intended to steal the show and make a case for world title contention. They had the match of the night up to that point, but Davey made the final statement by picking up the win after a bone jarring running kick to the skull.(intermission) Sex And Violence (3/1dq-0) beat Jay Lethal and Adam Cole (2-1) to become the new ROH tag team champions. The surprising makeshift duo of Cole and Lethal were on the verge on completing the Cinderella moment, but were stopped by a Rhino GORE on Lethal. Truth ran over to the opposing corner and held onto Cole's leg to keep him from making the save and the duo known as Sex And Violence became the new tag champs.Following the celebration by the new champs Lethal recovered and grilled his partner about why he didn't come in for the save. Cole tried to explain what happened, but Lethal pushed him away and left. El Generico beat Kevin Steen in a wild Fight Without Honor to win the ROH world championship. Steen brutalized Generico early, including a hard power bomb onto the ring apron. He went to follow it up with one through a ringside table, but Generico back dropped him through it instead. That led to the attempted BRAINBUSTAH! and the appearance of SCUM. However, SCUM were cut off from getting involved when Quackenbush and Jigsaw showed up to brawl with them before they could hit the ring. Generico hit the move and got the pin to win the belt.El Generico celebrated in the ring with Quackenbush and Jigsaw as the crowd cheered wildly. SCUM helped Steen to his feet at ringside and started walking him to the back. Steen stopped, turned, and glared at the scene inside the ring as the show went off the air.

NEW STUFF STARTS HERE.This will be the exclusive home of my ROH stuff going forward. ROH Television Taping Results Chicago Ridge, IL TJ Perkins (1-1/1dq) defeated Matt Taven (0-1) via Detonation Kick. Taven made a good showing for himself, proving why he is considered one of the top prospects heading into 2013. Inside Ring Of Honor featured the final moments of Final Battle 2012 and fallout from Generico winning the ROH championship. Davey Richards had pre-recorded comments, telling Generico to enjoy the moment because the American Wolf is the number one contender and won't hold anything back in trying to make sure Generico's title reign is a short one. Sara Del Rey joined the Kevin Kelly and Caleb on commentary MsChif (2-0) defeated Saturyne (0-1) with Gateway To Annihilation. MsChif's experience was too much for the young, talented luchadora. After the match MsCHif went to use the Desecrator on Saturyne, but was stopped by Sara Del Rey. Kyle O'Reilly entered the ring to be interviewed by Kevin Kelly. Kelly talked about the losing streak Kyle's been on and O'Reilly admitted that he's been going about things the wrong way lately and has let his vendetta against Davey get the better of him. He reached out to another man he says has been deserted by Davey, Eddie Edwards. Kyle noted that they've both been relegated to obscurity lately while Davey's star has risen once again. Kyle said that if he and Eddie joined forces no one could ignore them and they could easily get to the top of the tag team division. He finished by saying he'd be waiting for Eddie's answer. The Briscoe Brothers won a 4-team mayhem match over The Young Bucks, Coleman and Alexander, and SCUM to become number one contenders for the ROH tag team championship. This was a wild match. Each team had their opportunities at victory, with Coleman and Alexander looking particularly strong. In the end it was "Dem Boys" showing why they are the standard bearers of tag team wrestling with a Mark Briscoe Cut Throat Driver on Cedric for the win.

ROH Television Chicago Ridge, IL taping results Kevin Steen (2-2/1dq) defeated Adam Cole (1-1) in a nearly 20 minute war. Cole stayed strong and seemed to have Steen's number a few times. Steen powered out of a pin attempt after a Flying Bodypress and again somehow managed to kick out of the Florida Key when it looked like defeat was imminent. Cole also absorbed impressive punishment and kicked out of the F-Cinq once. A second F-Cinq was needed for Steen to pick up the win. An exhausted Steen spoke after the match. He said Davey Richards doesn't have the right to call himself the number one contender and promised to do anything in his power to take back his ROH championship. Nigel McGuinness confronted Steen once again and said Davey doesn't have to call himself the number one contender, because Nigel has made it official. Steen ranted that there was a conspiracy against him and that he deserves a rematch first. He left after vowing to make ROH a living Hell until justice is served. Eddie Edwards (2-2) defeated Chris Silvio in a quick match. Eddie wasted no time. Silvio got in a few shots early, but Edwards checked his chin with the Chin Checker and it was found to be made of glass as Eddie got the pin. (Kyle O'Reilly was watching from ringside, but Eddie blew him off and walked straight to the back after the match) Prodigy Mike Bennett (2-1/1dq) beat Tomasso Ciamapa (2-3) with the assist from Brutal Bob.( Ciampa was once again in control, and once again let Brutal Bob distract him and cost him the match. Ciampa was going for a suplex when Bob reached in and grabbed his leg to prevent it. Ciampa pulled Bob up to the apron by the collar and decked him. However, Bennet had time to recover and hit a knee to the back before using a rollup to score the pin. Kevn Kelly spoke about the women of honor in the "Inside Ring Of Honor" update segment. He said the womens division was about to heat up and the topic turned to the match between Saturyne and MsChif from last week's show. In pre-recorded comments Sara Del Rey said MsChif showed she has no honor by trying to injure Saturyne after the match last week and said they'll find out soon enough if MsChif can handle someone her own size when she has to go toe-to-toe with the Queen Of Wrestling. El Generico (3/1dq-0)defeated No Fear Mike Mondo (3/1dq-2) to defend the ROH championship. Mondo took it right to the champ and laid in the heavy forearm smashes and hard hitting offense that he is known for. Generico absorbed it all and gave it back in kind. The champ picked up the victory after a spike brainbuster. Kevin Steen ran out and attacked Generico after the match. He was stopped when Davey Richards rushed to the ring with steel chair in hand and chased him away. Generico got up looking confused. ROH officials rushed in to make sure Steen didn't get back in the ring as Davey took the mic. He said that from now until they meet in the ring for that belt, Generico has a shadow and that shadow's name is Davey Richards. Richards said he wants Generico to be at his best when they wrestle because he craves competition and wants no excuses when the American Wolf becomes the next ROH champion.
