ROH Spring Classic Du Burns Arena, Baltimore, MD Mike Bennett (4-2/1dq) beat Adam Cole (2-2) via Photo Finish. Brutal Bob and Maria accompanied Bennett to the ring as he eeked out the win over Cole. Cole got caught coming off the top rope and dropped with the Photo Finish to end the match. Caprice Coleman and Cedric Alexander (2/1dq-2) defeated Steve Corino and Jimmy Jacobs (2-3/1dq)when Coleman pinned Corino. The popular duo finally got a big win. Cedric made the comeback and tagged out to Coleman for the C&C Combo on Corino. Cedric held off Jacobs as Coleman got the pin. Kyle O'Reilly (4/1dq-2) won by disqualification over Eddie Edwards (3-3/1dq) Eddie was firmly in control of the match when Kyle powdered out of the ring. Kyle, through bloodied lip, began taunting Eddie and said he was walking away. Edwards gave chase and O'Reilly said something that must have gotten Eddie incredibly angry. Edwards proceeded to violently beat down Kyle on the floor. Referee Todd Sinclair tried to step in, but Edwards pushed him away to prompt the disqualification. Matt Taven (3-1) pinned Willie Mack (2-1) after a Frog Splash to win the Top Prospect Tournament. I hated this outcome! It looks like I just copied the real Top Prospects tourney, but that is not the case. I wanted Willie to win, but apparently the dice wanted Taven to copy his success in the real ROH. Anyway, Taven reversed a sunset flip attempt into a pinning combination for a long two count, then went on to hit the frog splash for the pin. Kevin Steen (3-2/1dq) won via referee stoppage over Mike Mondo (3/1dq-3). This was a classic. Mondo started strong and looked to be on the verge of the biggest win for him to date, but Steen made the comeback. After some back and forth action Steen brought out the big moves but could not get the pin. He used several power bombs onto the apron, and a few onto the guard rail for variety. Eventually the "add 1" caught up to Mondo, and his PIN reached 12. That is grounds for a ref stoppage in my book, and that's what happened. The Briscoe Brothers (4/1dq-0) beat Sex And Violence (4/1dq-2/1dq) to win the ROH tag team championship. S&V proved that they were worthy champs, but "Dem Boys" achieved their destiny to become ROH tag team champions when Jay hit the spike Jay Driller on Rhett for the win. Just prior to the main event Jay Lethal showed up dressed in full "Black Machismo" regalia. He took the mic and asked if just being the best wrestler in the company is enough to get the spotlight in ROH, or does he have to show everyone that "space is the place" one more time? Matchmaker Nigel McGuinness got in the ring, told him he looked silly, and asked him to return to the back so they could talk about this in a dignified manner. Davey Richards (6-0) beat El Generico (4/1dq-1) to win the ROH championship. Generico's short but somewhat eventful reign came to an end, but not without a great fight on the part of the generic luchadore. Davey blocked the brainbustaaaah! and went on to hit some brutal kicks to the head before pulling a bridging German suplex out of his "suplex arsenal" for the win.

ROH/Chikara: SYNERGY The Throwbacks (Dasher and Sugar) won by disqualification over combatANT and deviANT. The Swarm lost the match when deviANT pulled Sugar off the apron and ran him into the ringside barrier while combatANT hit a low blow and removed Dasher's mask to prompt the automatic disqualification. Sara Del Rey defeated MsChif via Royal Butterfly. Mike Bennett and Jay Lethal wrestled to a 20-minute time limit draw. Bennett hit Lethal with everything he had, but couldn't keep him down for the pin. Lethal made a big comeback at the end, but time expired before there was a winner. Adam Cole won a 4-way match over Ophidian, Fire Ant, and TJ Perkins. High flying and lots of fast paced action were expected and delivered. Cole ended up getting the pin on Ophidian with the Flodida Key to get the victory. ROH tag team champions The Briscoe Brothers defeated Chikara Campeonatos de Parejas The Batiri with the Doomsday Device on Obariyon. Batiri came very close to winning, thanks in part to help from Kobald at ringside, but "God's Goons" put down the demons to secure their position as the greatest tag team in ROH or Chikara. Chikara Grand Champ Eddie Kingston and ROH champion Davey Richards wrestled to a no contest in a Synergy title match when Bryan Danielson interfered and attacked both men. Davey locked in the ankle lock, but Kingston fought him off. Kingston hit a backfist, but Davey kicked out. Back and forth for twenty minutes they went until Bryan Danielson made a surprise appearance and attacked both men. Afterwards he said they didn't deserve to have a winner because no matter who holds the belts everyone knows Bryan Danielson is the best in the world.

love playing, getting burned out on formatting these posts. That's why I'm weeks behind on posting. So here's the bare bones version of "spoilers" for the first of three weeks of television from the taping in Pittsburgh (one game session=3 weeks of "television taping"). Pittsburgh, week 1Kevin Kelly and Nigel McGuinness began the show with a rundown of the events of the Chikara:Synergy event and the appearance of "a former ROH star not under contract with this company" ruining the main event title match between Kingston and Richards. Kelly said Davey would be here this week to talk about that and his next challenger for the ROH championship would be revealed. Tomasso Ciampa defeated TJ Perkins via twisting neckbreaker. In a backstage segment Truth Martini was standing with the Hoopla Hotties and Rhino. He said The Briscoe Brothers got lucky once against the real tag team champions, but Truth gets lucky every night. That, plus playing with his balls (camera focuses on the Baoding "Chinese meditation" balls in his hand) keep his mind nimble and he was smart enough to put that famous "rematch clause" in his tag teams' contract. Rhino spoke up and said tonight he takes out Mark Briscoe, next Rhett does his part and cripples Jay, then they walk into the rematch and pick apart the bones to take their belts back. The Young Bucks defeated C&C Wrestle Factory when Matt Jackson pinned Cedric following a moonsault. The Young Bucks made their intentions known after the match, giving the universal wrestling sign language for "we want the straps" after they celebrated the win by shaking each others hands and ignoring C&C. Davey Richards entered the ring in street clothes, mic in hand. He said Nigel told him not to even mention the "ROH legend" who ruined a great match between him and Kingston at Synergy, but Davey Richards isn't always real good at doing what he's told. He said he didn't care who Nigel had selected as the next challenger, he wants ROH to move Hell and high water to make sure he gets a piece of.....and the mic was cut before he could mention Bryan Danielson by name. Nigel got into the ring to talk to Davey off mic, and Richards seemed pissed. Before any announcement about the next contender could be made SCUM (Corino and Jacobs) hit the ring and attacked Davey AND Nigel. After laying them both out with a steel chair Corino took the mic and said it is Kevin Steen's destiny to be ROH champion again, it is SCUM's destiny to destroy Nigel and everything ROH stands for, and the next shoe to drop in the war between SCUM and ROH will "be the one that stomps out this worthless company once and for all." Rhino (w/Truth and the Hotties) defeated Mark Briscoe via GORE! Rhino closed out the show on a down note, surviving redneck kung-fu to put down Mark Briscoe with the Gore and build a little momentum going into his team's impending rematch for the ROH tag team championship.

Pittsburgh, week 2 Top Prospect Tournament winner Matt Taven was introduced for a match against Vinny Marseglia and asked for the mic. He said he was the future of ROH and he wants to prove he can beat the best the sport has to offer. Kevin Steen entered the ring, booted Marseglia and gave him a package piledriver, then grabbed the mic from Taven. He said it was both Taven's lucky day and his worst nightmare. He's about to get his chance against the best in ROH, but he's going to live to regret it when they carry him out of the arena on a stretcher. Kevin Steen defeated Matt Taven via Package Piledriver. Taven was overwhelmed at the bell, but gave it everything he had and got in some nice moves before Steen iced it with the pop-up power bomb before getting the win with his devastating signature move. After the bell Steen hit the package piledriver again and went for a third when Nigel McGuinness ran down the aisle with ROH security. Steen rolled out of the ring as Nigel explained that he's had enough of SCUM and last week they took it one step too far, so he's taking matters into his own hands to put an end to it. Nigel told Steen he was moments away from giving him his rematch with Richards last week, but Steen's minions decided to attack instead. Therefor he's not giving Steen the title match he wants, but he's giving him the match ROH needs (which he said he'd explain momentarily). As far as the title match is concerned, Nigel announced that next week the main event will be a bout between Michael Elgin and El Genrico. The winner will go on to face Davey Richards at the next big event, Best In The World. Also at Best In The World it'll be Kevin Steen one-on-one with Nigel McGuinness: if Steen wins, he can have a ROH title shot and he can name the stipulations for the bout. If Steen loses, he's gone from ROH. Nigel said he's stepping out of his position as ROH matchmaker and stepping back into the ring one more time and one more time only, and he intends to make it count by running Steen out of the company. Kyle O'Reilly defeated Grizzly Redwood via Guillotine Choke. Bobby Fish joined the commentary team for this match. He spoke about being Eddie Edwards tag team partner in Japan, but said he was invited to the show by Kyle. He said they both have a problem with Davey Richards and he hopes Eddie ends up on the right side of the dispute "for his own good". Kevin Kelly mentioned that Kyle and Edwards would do battle at Best In The World in a no disqualification rematch from their bout at The Spring Classic. Fish announced that he would be there in a neutral corner to watch two of the best do battle. Jay Briscoe defeated Rhett Titus (w/Truth and the Hoopla Hotties). Jay got a measure of revenge for his brother's loss last week by beating Rhett with the Jay Driller. Truth jumped on the apron to try to help, but got cracked in the jaw and fell off the apron. Fortunately Seliziya was there to catch him, but Jay went on to score the pin. Announced lineup for Best In The World: ROH Champion Davey Richards vs. El Genrico OR Michael Elgin Nigel McGuinness vs. Kevin Steen (if Steen loses, he is gone from ROH. If he wins he gets an ROH title match) Eddie Edwards vs. Kyle O'Reilly in a no disqualification match

"Man Up" live event, Dayton, OH Kyle O'Reilly defeated Adam Cole via Guillotine Choke. Bobby Fish showed up at ringside to provide moral support, but did not get involved in this tremendous opening bout. Kyle defeated his former tag team partner in about 12 minutes to gain some momentum heading into his match with Eddie Edwards at Best In The World. Tomasso Ciampa pinned Adam Page after Project Ciampa Young Adam Page gave Ciampa some tense moments and looked like he'd pick up yet another big upset win, but Ciampa got his head together and nearly knocked Page's off with a hard running knee before using Project Ciamapa for the win. Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team defeated C&C Wrestle Factory after a Haas superplex on Alenxander Charlie Haas said WGTT has cleared the air and is back better than ever, and they're here to prove it. They ended up doing just that, as they won a very close contest in about 15 minutes. Roderick Strong beat Eddie Edwards with the Stronghold. A fantastic match between two of the mainstays of ROH saw plenty of action before a stunning series of counters and reversals ended with Roderick locking in the Stronghold center ring for the submission victory. Jimmy Jacobs pinned Mike Mondo after using the railroad spike. Mondo was in control of the early action, but Jimmy stuck with him and took over when the action spilled to the floor. Eventually Jimmy stealthily pulled the railroad spike from his boot and blasted Mondo with it, which led to the pinfall win. The Briscoe Brothers beat Sex And Violence (w/Truth Martini) when Jay pinned Rhino following a Jay Driller. S&V pulled out all the stops trying to win back the tag team championship, but Rhett ended up in big trouble late in the match and had to be saved by Rhino. Rhett tagged out to Rhino, but was so beat up he could do nothing but lay on the apron the rest of the match and was unable to try to make the save when Jay used the Driller for the pin. After the match Rhino and Truth were visibly upset with Rhett and left him to find his own way back to the locker room. Next up: TV week 3 from Pittsburgh - RD Evans bursts onto the scene, debuting his protege QT Marshall -Jay Lethal does battle with "The Prodigy" Mike Bennett -Unbreakable Michael Elgin wrestles El Generico for the right to challenge Davey Richards for the ROH championship at Best In The World -Plus, a huge announcement from matchmaker Nigel McGuinness.

Way,way behind on posting. I've run about six cards since this. ROH TV Pittsburgh, PA QT Marshall made a successful debut over Adam Page. Page has the ability to upset anyone at any time and nearly ruined Marshall's debut. In the end RD Evans led his client to victory and Marshall got the pin via God's Gift. Jay Lethal defeated Mike Bennett after Hail To The King. Maria and Bob both tried to help Bennett, but Lethal had it scouted and picked up an impressive win. Bob and Maria argued after the match before Maria grabbed Bennett by the arm and dragged him away with her. Nigel McGuinness entered the ring for a big announcement. He said that with the roster continuing to grow and the television show well established, it's time to give the wrestlers in ROH one more prestigious prize to compete for; a world television championship. Nigel said that there would be four qualifying matches on shows around the country in the coming weeks and the four winners will compete in a 4-man mayhem match on an upcoming episode of ROH TV to determine the champion. Nigel was interrupted by Kevin Steen and Steve Corino. Security quickly got between Steen and the ring. Steen told them not to worry, he is saving it all for Best In The World; he just wants to get one last look at Nigel as people remember him because after Kevin Steen is done Nigel will never be the same again. Corino added that he is taking note that SCUM has been kept away from every championship match at Best In The World, but they are taking aim at the ROH championship, the tag team championship, AND the Television championship. Nigel asked how they intended to do hold four belts with just three members. Corino laughed and told Nigel that ROH has been officially warned. Steen and Corino shared an over-the-top exaggerated evil laugh before walking away. Coming back from the commercial, a graphic of a red dragon against a black backdrop floated across the screen, followed by the words "coming soon". Unbreakable Michael Elgin defeated El Generico to earn the title shot at Davey Richards at Best In The World. Davey Richards joined Kevin Kelly on commentary for this epic match. Generico gave it his all in an attempt to earn another shot at the belt he lost to Davey earlier this year, but Elgin would not be denied. The end came when Elgin used the Elgin Bomb for the pin. Truth Martini tried to get in the ring to congratulate Elgin, but Elgin once again sent him away. Elgin turned around and was face-to-face with Richards. There was a tense staredown before Richards extended his hand and congratulated Elgin for the win. Richards went to break the handshake and walk away but Elgin held on and pulled him back. Elgin told him that he intends to give the ROH championship the respect it deserves, keep "him"(pointing back at Truth) away, and prove that Michael Elgin is worthy of holding the ROH title. Best In The World ROH title match: Davey Richards vs. Michael Elgin Nigel McGuinness vs. Kevin Steen 4 man elimination: Strong vs. Lethal vs. Cole vs. Bennett Young Bucks vs. SCUM (Corino and Jacobs) no disqualification: Kyle O'Reilly vs. Eddie Edwards Mike Mondo vs. Tomasso Ciampa
