Joey Ryan, Crimson, Taeler Hendrix, Christian York and Sam Shaw all have been released. Too bad for Ryan, but I'm sure he'll do all right. The rest are mehhh. Could be more on the way as TNA is in budget cut mode.

Not saying this to be mean or be a troll, but I could care less about their talent cuts. I have gone above and beyond wanting to give this company a chance, but ever since Hogan and Co arrived, it's been going downhill. I really wanted TNA/Impact to succeed, because every Coke needs a Pepsi, and two strong brands are needed for something to truly stand out. But there is nothing there that lights my fire anymore.
If I were Spike, I would seriously look at when their contract ends, and consider replacing them with Ring of Honor. Not the first time that network bailed on a wrestling company...

The problem with that is that Spike pretty much has no incentive to cut Impact loose. It does pretty much just what they need as far as ratings go and if the rumors are true, Spike might buy the whole damned company which might be for the best honestly. If the buck stopped with me (and unfortunately it doesn't), I'd get rid of Brooke, Hulk and Bischoff. Probably Lagana and Prichard too. Just completely gut the office and replace them with people who can actually help the company.
And as for ROH, do I need to remind you what happened the last time a low level indie was on that network or that ROH is owned by a television company already?

ECW was on TNN! Or did you mean the last time Raw was on Spike and they replaced it with TNA? And hey at least it wasn't MTV and their hardcore fed or lucha fed (although RJ Brewer was awesome in the lucha one). Switch you think Lagana is that bad? Loved his I Want Wrestling podcast and thought TNA improved after he took over, though I honestly still don't pay much attention to it.

What are you talking about? ECW was on TNN! That's exactly the indie I was talking about. They got on TNN and look what happened. Fourteen and a half months later they were dead. And on top of that, ECW was a nationally known promotion during a huge boom period. ROH is nowhere near as well known as ECW and that's even with how massive social media is now and wrestling isn't in a boom period. If I were Spike I'd rather have TNA than ROH and you have no idea how much it pains me to say that. Switch you think Lagana is that bad? Loved his I Want Wrestling podcast and thought TNA improved after he took over, though I honestly still don't pay much attention to it. I dislike him greatly. His attitude of "I wrote for Friends and ECW 2006 and started a hashtag trend that the doucheiest of douchebag fans use to this day so I'm the shit" annoys me to no end. The fact he acts like the stuff he wrote for had any real entertaining value at all annoys me to no end. He has this attitude that he's better than the fans and the funny part is without those same fans he shits on, he wouldn't be in the spot he's in now because once upon a time he pandered to those same fans. He's just an all around dickhead and THEN there's the stories of him hitting on talent (look up the Kevin Thorn incident, seriously this guy is a piece of shit) and how he acts like he's better than the talent. Fuck him. And also, the TNA product was better with him for about five months and then him and Bischoff concocted the Aces and Eights angle which was good for all of ten minutes at Lockdown and never before/again.

And also for the record, Spike pretty much will just pick up the pieces of TNA if it goes under anyways. They need wrestling on that channel, they've had it for fourteen years this year. Without it they lose a chunk of their viewership. I remember reading about Spike wanting to do their own promotion without Dixie as far back as 2011 when it looked like the Jeff Hardy thing was going to kill TNA.

I'm actually submitting a business proposal to Spike about re-booting their wrestling company. Hope it works!

Don't you think they would use Bischoff and Hogan to run things? Let's be honest, TNA is WCW, all old and wrinkley with a new wife, Dixie Carter. Unless Spike is willing to give a guy like Mike Quackenbush or Delirious a shot at booking their fed, who else is there? Not saying Bischoff is any good, he just seems to be the go-to-guy for some reason. And with that said, if Spike wants wrestling so bad why not approach ROH or Chikara?
