CARD 955 – PELF PALACE:
CPC Interstellar champ, Colussus, humiliated Splatter. Colussus is hellbent on revenge against Splatter for mangling him in the ring with a lottery attack. The CPC might be pleased to see Colussus so enraged. It’s the kind of temper that could cause instability within his own team and push him closer to the edge and maybe their roster. In an interest twist and to satisfy Splatter he has been told by Commissioner Grogan that he can rename the belt to the Heavy Metal belt should he win it. For the duration of his reign it will be defended in special matches until he loses it whereupon it’ll revert. However he fails miserably to make that happen. Colussus is fuelled by rage and destroys Splatter in just 4 moves. A Colussus Double Smash is followed by THE SHREDDER and it’s done. Magnus Colby stands up in the gallery and applauds. His voice comes through all the Palace speakers. He encourages Colussus to take full revenge. Alluding to Arsenal that was set in the corner “go on take it. Let your hate flow through you”. Colussus is overcome with conflicting emotions. He crouches and clutches his head. The words ring out “do it, do it”. Suddenly Colussus snaps out of it and shouts “screw you” and grabs his belt for a hasty retreat.
CPC Cruiserweight champ, Prodigy, dominated Sleeze. Prodigy proudly wearing both of his belts. But tonight is all about the Cruiserweight title. No motorbike entrance though. That’s been classed as a write off! Sleeze looks pretty gassed. Another late night party perhaps? But maybe the fact Prodigy now holds the big one means he won’t care too much for this and gives Sleeze a greater chance. Prodigy is also still carrying an injury categorised as minor. But you wouldn’t of known. He is in the form of his life. Aside from an early attempt with METALHEAD MAULER from Sleeze it’s all Prodigy. He just smothers Sleeze with speedy moves and hits THE PERFECT SINGLES FINISHER over and over again. I lost count how many times but it was probably 4 or 5. Johnny Rocket was working hard to keep Sleeze in the match as long as possible but had his work cut out. Thantos was never called upon to help Prodigy once. He just stood arms folded proudly watching Prodigy deliver. It was mainly his convincing of Magnus Colby and Sonora Pelf that he should be given a huge singles push. His assertions about him being a singles star in the making being proved spot on.
CPC Ladies champ, Supernova, totally outclasses Velar. Magnus Colby has grown tired of playing games with Supernova. High time they get the belt off of her. Velar is under enough pressure as it is without this expectation. To grab an advantage she enlists the help of Terminus to be at ringside. He was none too pleased as would prefer to be resting his injuries ahead of next week. Guessing he has been told to be there rather than be given the choice. He certainly proves significant but not in the way Velar hoped. She’d been under the cosh a long time when eventually becomes victim to SPEED OF LIGHT. Terminus comes in to break the pin. Lines up an elbow only to nail Velar as Supernova telegraphs and moves. He gets up and looked shocked after that. Meanwhile Supernova nonchalantly covers again and this time gets the uninterrupted three count.
Paragon restores respect as he destroys Wolf. With Terminus conquered Wolf looks to devour the next victim, the almighty Paragon. Or not so mighty if you look at his win-loss record. But Paragon still has a very high opinion of himself and puts many of his losses down to bad luck or other conspiring events. He does not believe Wolf can beat him on his favoured playground. As ever he is dressed for success but as soon as Wolf comes rampaging his expensive suit jacket is ripped from him. Thantos is also rudely bumped from the ring. But Wolf’s run doesn’t last long. Paragon quickly comes up behind him and lays him out with a Paragon Power Bomb. Wolf rolls around winded and falls outside the ring. Paragon jumps down and smashes his head into the floor. The ref considers a DQ. For Paragon’s own protection for when Wolf stages his inevitable big comeback. But will be relieved he didn’t. For Wolf does nothing of the sort. Paragon pitches him back in. A running powerslam and a full nelson suplex are dealt. Then just 5 moves in comes FINAL OVERTURE and it’s all over. Incredible win. Even the VIP gallery looks shocked. Paragon doesn’t even celebrate. In his mind the point was made and not worth prolonging it.
Lower World punished Mad Jester and Bishop Hell. Dismay for Bishop Hell as he loses the match. It was Jester who was pinned at the hands of Death’s Head via FUNERAL MARCH. The Bishop hates anyone or thing involved in Brymstone Burning almost as much as he does the Titan team. Never ending resentment towards Blazing Skull the reason. His anger is further provoked as Maleph swooped at him in the aftermath and tore off his menacing hood. The Bishop tried to burn him with fire in retaliation but was just swiping at air.
The Mercenaries pummelled Titan Gliders. A rare chance to get inside the ring for the Mercenaries. They make the most of it. Or maybe not as it was over in the blink of an eye. Scion Nexus got absolutely murdered. In the space of 3 consecutive moves he took OPERATION: AMBUSH then THE REVENGER and finally LIFE SENTENCE. It was brutal. Lord Nexus is left scratching his head. There is so much potential in his team but they have been going backwards for a while. Maybe it can all be traced back to GALACTICON when a crucial exile match was lost.
Draconian Sheik bullies Pollux. An unhappy Pollux doesn’t want to get in the ring with this animal but if he wants to be booked then as Grogan tells “do as we say”. He’s just being used for entertainment. Drac predictably devours him. Pollux subjected to several minutes of prolonged torture including a slam into a table, several smashes into the ring stairs, the Terrorists attacking and abuse with a sharp object. Drac should of been disqualified many times over. Finally he is put out his misery via DRACONIAN BACKBREAKER after Drac obeys instructions from the Terrorists.
Ursa Major beat Dynamo. Lucky escape for Ursa Major. He was dominated and put in MUSCLE RIPPER three times. But Dynamo takes leave of his senses and tries a top rope move which goes wrong. Shortly after Ursa Major uses a moonsault and gets a surprisingly low roll to nick the win.

CARD 956 – SATURDAY NIGHT STARSLAMMERS – POLARIS INTERSTELLAR STADIUM:
The Centaurians beat Ninja Assassins for the tag titles. Big shot for the Centaurians. Have quietly worked their way up but even so were surprising top contenders. Blade is pretty excited. Winning the tag belts was an achievement of his late brother, Crossfire, and he’d be honoured to match that. In fact Centaurus Cluster were holding the belts when he perished. But they would have their work cut out. The Ninjas are in incredible form and would take some beating. But early in the match a big setback for them. Darkos gets himself ejected from ringside after interfering against Talisman when he’d hit Daeman with AMULET DROP. It meant no switching for them after this but they should of still had plenty in the locker to win this. But Talisman was in inspired form. His finisher is deployed several times and at one point only a nifty baseball slide by Daeman breaks the pin attempt. It only serves to delay the loss of the tag belts. Talisman catches Hydrax out soon after this with a vertical suplex, hooks the leg for all he is worth and holds on to win the match. He’s barely on his feet when Blade has burst in hugging him. A wonderful moment made really emotional as Blade accepts his half of the tag belts. Sinks to his knees with it and points to the heavens. I’m sure Crossfire was up there looking down proudly.
Lycosa is at his dazzling best to beat Wraith for the Interplanetary belt. After a spectacular Battlezone performance against the Titans an IP title shot is the reward for Lycosa. Makes sense to go the singles route for a while as Assassin Air Raid’s tag title aspirations are being blocked by the Ninja Assassins. He’s had quite the year but so has Wraith. Maybe the Cruiserweight division is more Lycosa’s style but the GWF still doesn’t offer that option. A brilliant match unravels. Wraith has the upper hand at first but gets shocked when they are outside by a flying leap off a table from Lycosa to turn the tables. From there on in it’s a seesaw match. Wraith was finding Lycosa a very tricky customer and having to waste invisibility attempts to relieve pressure. Not great as it leaves his finisher toothless. Except he never got to use it. Lycosa just keeps peppering him and persistent use of BLACK WIDOW’S BITE allows him to prevail. Vertigo did his best to help Wraith out. Showing a willingness to get his hands dirty unlike some of the other hero managers. Mentioning no names. However it’s futile. Lycosa never gives in and a dramatic title switch takes place. Darkos is pretty happy. Suddenly the Masked Assassins holding half of the available GWF gold. Although that doesn’t last too long as we were about to see in the very next match. But let nothing take away from Lycosa. He’s had a fabulous first year and surely the CPC must be kicking themselves for treating him like they did.
Ladies champ, Amazonia, loses to Anaxis by DQ. Controversy as Anaxis brings a fan with her to the ring. The ref sees it harmless and even smirks when Anaxis says “it’s only to waft away Amazonia’s stink”. But the cameras pick up on little blades embedded within it. Dragonmaster on colour commentary with Qualitar yells “for god’s sake ref. Do your job and confiscate that barbaric weapon”. She isn’t shy about using it. Looking to get the action outside as much as possible wheeze it’s usage was easier to conceal. She’d pick it up and pretend to fan herself and then swipe at Amazonia with it whenever there was an opportunity. When one blow connects across the back drawing blood in several spots Amazonia has had enough. Ignoring the pain she grabs the nearest chair and isn’t so subtle about her actions. Violently smashing it into the shoulder of Anaxis sending her tumbling. Then the shield comes out and she seeks to increase the punishment but Anaxis rolls out the way and gets to the runway. She is able to stagger away clutching her injured shoulder. Amazonia tries to give chase. Not caring about the DQ that has now been announced. Her path is blocked by several officials and Anaxis is able to evade any further danger. Amazonia will have to wait for the rematch that will be booked to get hard hands on Anaxis again. She promises “Anaxis will regret her actions. Each that blade left a mark will serve as my inspiration to punish her”. Anaxis won’t be too keen to get back in the ring after such comments but if she wants to win the ladies belt again she’s gonna have to.
Wolf triumphs over Terminus in Torture Chamber match which was a 5* classic. The final battle. Wolf races into the ring like an excited lunatic. At 6-3 up he can win here and make the scoreline look pretty dominating. Terminus is up against it with injuries still plaguing him from their last match inside the Barbed Wire cage. They could get a lot worse here. He’d tried to wriggle out of it but the contract was so tight he risked huge ramifications for not showing. Of course Wolf was never going to let him off lightly either. But fair play to Terminus. Rather than lay down and try and get it over with he decides it’s best to stand and fight. There could just be a Wolf hangover after he was given a shock beating by Paragon on the previous show. Turns into an epic battle. Both are laden with tokens and bloody before the first ‘fall’ even happens. Things progress much quicker after that. The first fall went in favour of Wolf with a Scorpion Death Lock but Terminus gets him back pretty quick with HAMMERLOCK SLAM x2 to move close to victory. But this is Wolf he is dealing with. Wolf courageously bites back with a running clothesline. Next fall will do it and it’s Wolf now in control. After a few minutes of mainly L3 impact moves Wolf goes back in for the Scorpion Death Lock. It’s success for him very much down to Terminus’s agility being impacted by his injury. The roll was out by 1 numerous times. Terminus can withstand it no longer and crumples. Wolf knew he had been in a real battle and given Terminus’s injuries and willingness to fight seems to have a brief moment of respect for him. Sitting him up against the titanium bars until the structure is lifted and he can leave to the cheers of an adoring crowd. Terminus picks up a 4 card injury. I thought it a bit harsh to stack this injury on top of the other. So he’ll just get marked down as injured now for this length of time. Final score in the special challenge is 7-3 in favour of Wolf.
Vengeance overcame Raven in a Titan Death match. 5* action. Crunch time. Raven has to win to give his team any chance of survival. It still might not even be enough. Vengeance grins as Raven is announced. He maybe under pressure himself but is just a step away from being an Aethran hero if the Gladiators triumph. From convicted convict to a hero. Quite the transformation in the last decade. Makes a very purposeful start and had Raven reeling. But Raven’s been under pressure many times in his legendary career and pulled it out the bag. Looking like it’s going to be another one of these as he slowly stifles Vengeance and gets into a rhythm. More than capable of dealing with the hardcore stuff and then unleashes BLADERUNNER albeit unsuccessfully. No bother as not long after BROADSWORD follows. However it’s a narrow kickout from Vengeance. Surely a matter of time though but it’s a testament to Vengeance that he takes these moves and goes onto grapple a good 10 more minutes after this. A gruelling battle which sees the token count of Vengeance rise to 3 at its maximum whilst Raven’s is worse at 5. Its the sort of tense scenario where the next big move should do it but anymore of these are tantalisingly denied. Both guys labouring. Then out of nowhere Vengeance is thrown towards the ropes but has quick thinking to catch Raven in a sunset flip on the rebound. Gasps throughout the crowd as he holds on to pin Raven. Massive defeat. Probably the end for WAR. We’ll have to see when things are summed up. But deep down Raven knows it. His face paints the picture of a defeated man as he leaves the ring.
New Order beats Thunder and Overkill by DQ. New Order is still a team but barely. Raven says they must work together for the future of WAR. After tonight it could quite easily be all over depending on how the two matches go. Mace insists that both he and Dreggs are introduced separately. Good job they were out first as they’d of been very vulnerable to being set upon by the Gladiators. All the early impetus is with the Gladiators. Thunder gets some solid strikes in on Mace and hands off to Overkill. A hairy moment soon comes after TURNBUCKLE TRAP. Dreggs makes the pin save. So at least they were working together in that respect. But Mace was struggling and found himself outside only for Thrash to decide to jump on his back and try to rub her studded bracelet across his face. He threw her off and wanted to get back in the ring but was foiled by the bell. The verdict was New Order wins by DQ but that angered Mace. It’s not enough for the WAR team. He angrily leaves kicking barriers and droids as he goes. Not sparing a thought for Dreggs who was left behind and outnumbered. Fortunately Dreggs was able to get away unharmed. Using a chair held up to open up the space between him and the lurking Gladiators and make it to the runway.
Colussus runs riot over Heracles to continue his hot form. Heracles always enjoys facing old enemies, especially Colussus. He taunts Colussus straight away calling him a schizo. Colussus rages and tries to barge him with the robotic side of his body. Heracles manages to get out of the way and Anaxis is clattered. Not good for her as she’s wrestling later. Colussus enjoys the moment but ends up too busy admiring the view of Anaxis in a heap. Heracles smashes him from behind with a chair. The match hasn’t even officially begun and Colussus is in trouble. But he staves Heracles off and uses his new found rage to start punishing him. Near miss after near miss as Heracles is generally dominated save for trying his finisher once. However Colussus is in one of those unbeatable moods. He finishes Heracles in the best way possible. By using his own OLYMPIA finisher against him. Heracles is at 6 tokens at this point and cannot summon another kickout. Big win for Colussus, who is having a strong finish to the year, but his future is still in some doubt.
Wildcat pinned Johnny Rocket. Assumptions this will be a squash for Wildcat but Johnny seems to be hurting him. To the untrained eye these are surprisingly ferocious blows. But closer examination reveals flash coloured knuckles being worn. Bonehead official took far too long to cotton on and confiscate them. But the blows took their toll. So much so that Wildcat’s grogginess caused him to miss WILDCAT STRIKE twice. Johnny even had the audacity to try ROCKET BLAST after one of these misses although Wildcat easily rode the move out. He then sets about trying to get this finished once and for all. Goes for his risky finish again and third time’s a charm. Miracle spray revives the motionless Johnny. Seemed that he was just playing dead to finish the match and avoid getting hurt.

Latest News:
Lots going on in the penultimate month. As we move towards 2107 the GWF is limping along behind the CPC. Another tough year ahead. Will the GWF still be a thing by the end?
Star Warrior is out of hospital and ready to return to ringside. Been a long road to recovery but he feels fine now. He hopes to inspire his team at TEAM SUPREME where he will be joining the Champions with Commander Sam’s FDF to put out a team. They are calling themselves THE ALLIANCE. More on that later. His most pressing matter is trying to ensure Colussus does not go off the deep end. He’s causing a few problems as you’ll soon read.
The special matches challenge between Wolf and Terminus is finally over. Wolf wins 7-3 and truly cements his status as the star performer of the year. Even the quick loss to Paragon cannot change that. Wolf even gained a tiny amount of respect for Terminus for the way he conducted himself in that final match. It’s possible they will go to war one last time before the year is out. But Terminus can be forgiven for insisting that’ll be a regular match.
Reynard B. Guile’s diminishing role in the CPC continues as he loses special priveleges meaning he no longer has access to the VIP gallery or meetings with Colby and Pelf. His tendency to blurt sensitive information thought to be behind this. At the moment his only role is a managerial one to Dynamo. He tried to get Bishop Hell under his wing but got refused last month. Then a private approach behind the scenes at the Palace ended with the Bishop shouting at B. Guile “don’t keep pestering or I’ll burn your face off”. So instead to widen his managerial pool he has been offered the Upstart Punks. Beggars can’t be choosers so he accepts and brags “it will be my greatest achievement, I will turn them into superstars”.
Chaos is trying to get Janus to see sense and leave the CPC behind. But Janus is not prepared to give up the lucrative lifestyle to which he is now accustomed. Chaos is feeling the pressure of Mandrill and the Colonizers and feels he needs far more than just Heracles to help him. With Janus suffering for much of this year he didn’t think would need much convincing. Chaos has visions of rebuilding the Citadel of the Elite to take on the Colonizers. Many insiders think this is just a fantasy and he should accept his time has now passed and just grow old gracefully.
Fighting Titans going back to basics after some ropey results. Lord Nexus even has them escaping the concrete jungle to train in near isolation in the Titan wilderness situated in Oriental hemisphere of the moon. Lord Nexus is calling it a vital team building exercise and the fruits of such labour will be visible very soon.
Colussus gets a big feature spread in GWI magazine. Creates a big controversy towards end of the interview when he says the CPC is looking attractive “I don’t live in a plush mansion, the cost of living on Cetus is very high and believe it or not the GWF doesn’t pay me much. I can see why some guys heads are being turned by the CPC”. Given what happened after his match with Splatter where he appeared conflicted this is very concerning. Another guy with a roving eye is Skinhead. He is seeing how his old partner, Prodigy, is flourishing and thinks he might need to take the same path. Continuing rumours circulate of not so secret discussions taking place.
The big headedness of Paragon knows no boundaries. Despite all the lousy results he truly believes he is on the verge of greatness. So much so that he has been in contact with the GWF to arrange a belt fitting. They should of laughed in his face but instead, thinking it’s good PR, have indulged his request. They’ve also named him #2 contender to their belt citing the dominant win over Wolf even though it was at Pelf Palace. He’ll face the winner of the Wolf-Mandrill rematch. Madness.
CPC putting two teams forward for TEAM SUPREME again which causes annoyance. Exec committee rep says “It’s out of my hands. You’re lucky it isn’t three teams”, to which Johnny Rocket, acting as spokesman for the GWF roster, replies “what do you mean it’s out of your hands? You’ve got the same powers as any Commissioner would”. It’s clear the GWF needs to find its new head man and fast. The main victims of this were the Masked Assassins. Initially they didn’t have a spot despite being a form team and having the numbers. The Fighting Titans favoured to balance the number of face and heel teams. Eventually after incredible pressure and Spacebook campaigns the GWF decides to let them in as well but two teams will be having to wrestle an extra qualifying match. With all this in mind here are the teams entered. Draw still to be revealed … THE ALLIANCE (Pegasus, Alpha Force, FDF) … CPC ‘A’ (Paragon, Matador of M83, Transevolver) … CPC ‘B’ (Janus, Prodigy, Theatre of Pain) … WAR (Raven, Mayhem, New Order) … THE GLADIATORS (Vengeance, Mayhem, Thunder and Overkill) … GENESIS (Wraith, Max Shield, Frozen Fury) … THE COLONIZERS (Mandrill, Painmaster, Rebel Empire) … FIGHTING TITANS (Ursa Major, Dragonmaster, Titan Gliders) … MASKED ASSASSINS (Manslaughter, Lycosa, Ninja Assassins)
INJURED – Terminus (4); SUSPENDED – none
SUDDEN DEATH SCORING … GLADIATORS 32-26 WAR … It’s not mathematically over but it seems virtually impossible for WAR to rescue this. They have to win all 3 remaining matches now all in the backyard of the Gladiators. If they do pull it off then it’ll be the greatest Houdini escape ever.
WRESTLER OF THE MONTH:
COLUSSUS – He might be acting like a bit of a jerk but is in the best form since probably 2098/99. Reacting to the recent lottery attack with a rage in the ring few are suddenly able to handle. Let’s hope it is used for the greater good and not to serve the CPC in the near future. TAG TEAM OF THE MONTH:
THE CENTAURIANS – For providing the feel good moment of the month. Blade emulates his late brother by capturing the tag belts. Will the GWF jump on the booking opportunity of the Centaurians against Lower World in a title match?

CARD 957 – TEAM SUPREME – DEIMOS INTERGALACTIC ARENA:
Intriguing draw. Magnus Colby and Sonora Pelf go mad when they learn their ‘A’ team is pulled out the hat to go through the extra qualifying round. Similar enragement from the Colonizers. With a very tough tussle in the opening round against Genesis awaiting the winner. It’s interesting to note their ‘B’ team actually includes their current champions leading many to label them as the ‘A’ team in disguise.
THE DRAW … QUALIFYING ROUND … THE COLONIZERS-CPC ‘A’ … FIRST ROUND … THE ALLIANCE-CPC ‘B’ … WAR-MASKED ASSASSINS… FIGHTING TITANS-THE GLADIATORS… GENESIS-THE COLONIZERS/CPC ‘A’
(Team captains score extra point in all their matches so long as they do actually score a point. They are listed bold. Judges score each wrestler up to 4 points. Maximum team total possible is 13. There are no restrictions on managers and bodyguards)
Qualifier:
CPC ‘A’ narrowly eliminates the Colonizers 7-6. Repeat of last year’s final. Some CPC fans come out the woodwork and takeover a section of the arena to cheer the team on. Security has to form a ring around them as loyal GWF fans take exception and profanities get exchanged. But they end up happy as the CPC ‘A’ team survives this stern test to make the tournament proper … Paragon defeats Painmaster in a thriller. Very dramatic. Paragon pretty much demolishing Painmaster and applies FINAL OVERTURE but got gunned down by Sentry. Suddenly down and in big trouble. Even got hoisted into THE TORTURE RACK. Survived it but then the ref got bumped. Just all going on. Paragon then used a big move but was frustrated there was no ref to count. He revives the ref but got smashed from behind by a recovering Painmaster whilst doing so. Nearly got pinned as a result because all the ref saw was Painmaster on top. It’s at this point Thantos has seen enough and attacks Sentry to ensure he won’t be causing anymore problems. But all the antics had taken its toll on Paragon. Nonetheless he digs in. With Sentry now incapacitated he is able to win a crucial brawl and goes for FINAL OVERTURE again. Nothing to save Painmaster now. Judges score this, captain’s point included, as a high scoring 4-2. Deserved to be a greater margin but Sentry’s involvement kept it closer than it should of been … Mandrill overcame Matador of M83. With the Colonizers behind and now the Matador to face can be forgiven thinking they would be taking early baths. But Mandrill is energised and controls large parts of this match. He doesn’t get through totally unscathed but was pretty strong and managed to beat the Matador, on his fifth token by this time, with COLONIZER CLAW SLAM. The win gets scored a generous 4-1 which nudges the Colonizers ahead and it’s all now down to the last match … Transevolver defeated Rebel Empire. Early promise from Rebel Empire gets snuffed out. Monad tossed Nefarus into the ring post with the full force of his four arms for a big advantage. Doomsayer at his distracting best to allow the move to take place. Back in the ring Monad slaps on SURFBOARD SUBMISSION. With things so delicately poised Sentry doesn’t want to risk using his stun gun for fear of a DQ. But his own distracting attempt is weak. Monad keeps the move locked in and gets the low roll for a submission. Mandrill is at the back of the runway and looks on aghast as Nefarus tumbles to defeat thus eliminating his team. The judges score this 2-0 in favour of Transevolver.
First Round:
The Alliance wipes the floor with CPC ‘B’ by 12-2 margin. With two managers guiding the Alliance there was concern they might tread on each other’s toes or conflict instructions. But it’s soon clear Commander Sam’s role is to work the crowd whilst Star Warrior manages. Sam claps throughout and booms lots of chants like “we want your support” and “join the Alliance”. The CPC team is manager-less as Thantos chooses to fully concentrate on the ‘A’ team. They could badly of done with him as they fall to a crushing defeat … FDF crushed Theatre of Pain. Total annihilation. Comedy never got out the ring. He was hit by ADAM’S ATOMIC BLAST x2. Then Jack has his wicked way via BLACK DIAMOND and DIAMOND CUT. Amazingly Comedy is producing kickouts but needed to try and get out of there. Too much punishment. He doesn’t and Adam is back to finish off. FREEDOM FLYER comes the way of Comedy and that’s the one that does it. FDF gets the team off to a flier. That’s a 4-0 match … Pegasus squashed Janus. Total walkover. Pegasus almost pinned Janus with the opening move. Janus only just survived. With that let off you’d expect Janus to now try and make a match of it. But instead he just folds weakly and just 5 moves later is beaten with PROJECT PEGASUS. So that’s a 5-0 outcome. Can the Alliance become the first team ever to max out? … Alpha Force just about beats Prodigy. Murmurings that Thantos was preparing to go to ringside just so the team can prevent a possible whitewash humiliation. But he never emerges. Not that it hinders Prodigy. It’s a much more hotly contested match. Prodigy probably deserved to win. He tried THE PERFECT SINGLES FINISHER enough times. But Alpha Force hung on and got him with ALPHA STRIKE. A very low roll going in his favour. Judges appreciated the closeness of the bout and all the action as they score it 3-2. Overall it’s still a mauling but the CPC ‘B’ avoids total humiliation.
WAR down the Masked Assassins 7-3. WAR has much bigger things to worry about than this event but maybe a good run in this will set them up for the rest of the month. After a sticky start they navigate this one with Mayhem coming up trumps … Ninja Assassins beats New Order by DQ. Decent match but unsatisfactory outcome. Ref very attuned to the switch. Ninjas went for it several times but he foiled it on every occasion. Hydrax was in the wars. He took just about every finisher New Order could muster but came through them all in a variety of ways. The Ninjas then stormed back. DOUBLE EDGE SWORD on Mace twice but it’s actually a DQ that they win by. Mace’s anger was increasingly rising. He was responsible for triggering several brawls with the violent intent in the last one too much to take. Chairs came out and the ref had no choice. These judges are being pretty high scoring as they announce this to be 3-1 … Raven pretty comfortable against Manslaughter. Poor Manslaughter is crying out for a bigger role. Largely overshadowed by fellow Assassins. Needs to prove himself to Darkos but didn’t do much to impress here. A spritely start quickly stalled. Raven took over and although he needed a few bites of the cherry won pretty decisive 3-0 courtesy of BLADERUNNER. So down to the decider. Seems a mismatch but wouldn’t put it past Lycosa to pull something off … Mayhem has too much for Lycosa to handle. Pretty obvious once this started that Lycosa was going to struggle. Only real hope was to try and hang on and maybe Mayhem would do something stupid and get himself disqualified. But Mayhem largely reins it in. Just kept hitting DANGER ZONE. Eventually one of them puts Lycosa down for the pin. Mayhem gets a 3-0 decision and WAR progresses. Really tasty battle against fellow heroes the Alliance now awaits.
Fighting Titans eliminate the Gladiators on a tiebreaker after bout ended 4-4. On paper this looked like it could be the most one-sided match up. The Gladiators are expected to steamroll. Especially with the Titans in such poor form. The decision to put the Gliders in as the tag team reps and move Dragonmaster into singles raised some eyebrows. Lord Nexus hopes it will be a tactical masterstroke … Titan Gliders beat Thunder and Overkill. Massive upset win and it was no fluke. Overkill had a terrible match, never getting to grips with the speedy young Titans. Scion Nexus put 2 very early tokens on him via sunset flips. Thunder then got tagged in and tried to steady things and used THE TEMPEST but it didn’t work out. Any hopes that might set a period of dominance in motion dashed as the Titans dig in and came back. Overkill continuing to make mistakes all over the place. Even though he did get Talon with TURNBUCKLE TRAP it didn’t lead to the pin. Talon came back at him and used TALON’S PREY, not for the first time in the match, to pin Overkill who was trying to carry the pain of 6 tokens by this point. Lord Nexus does a victory jig as Titans earn a 3-1 lead. Thrash was so angry she almost cleaned him out but Lord Nexus showed he still has pretty quick feet to athletically jump onto the apron from the floor and avoid her … Ursa Major beats Malice by DQ decision. OMG another shock outcome. Malice not reacting well to added pressure brought on by the opening match loss. Pushing too hard to try and destroy Ursa Major. Putting him into tables after a series of relentless out of ring throws was never a good idea. Disqualification is the result. Titans on the brink but it’s only a 1-0 scoreline. It means, somewhat unfairly, that the Gladiators despite losing 2 matches still have a chance but Vengeance is going to have to pretty much annihilate Dragonmaster to impress the judges enough to salvage this … Vengeance pinned Dragonmaster but it’s not enough. Team captains go head to head. Massive pressure on both but from the moment Dragonmaster starts the match with a series of Titan Drops and has a pin attempt it’s obvious Vengeance is not going to be able to score highly enough to save his team. It becomes a competitive match. Dragonmaster doing himself proud even though Vengeance slowly turns the screw and weakens him. Eventually a groggy and glassy eyed DM, by virtue of a couple Eye Cleavers, runs head first into a turnbuckle and gets pinned. Vengeance wins 3-0 but it’s not good enough. Final score is 4-4 but the tiebreaker then goes to who won the most matches and that’s where the Titans prevail 2-1. Massive pop for this. Nobody expected the mighty Gladiators to go out against the misfiring Titans.
Genesis goes over CPC ‘A’ by score of 6-3. It’s been a fantastic year overall for Genesis. Everyone on the team, save for Max, has delivered in droves. Things get even better as they see off the CPC team pretty comfortably. Although it’s not without its controversy. The key match where Paragon was defeated led to accusations of favouritism towards the GWF team. In protest the CPC is now considering boycotting next year’s event. That’s if the GWF survives for that long … Frozen Fury against Transevolver ends double DQ. Frustration for Frozen Fury. They are dominant. Blizzard battered Monad with ICE ATTACK and FROSTBITE. Then Buck floors him with ROPE-A-DOPE FLURRY. But they are constantly disrupted from winning via the shoddy tactics of Doomsayer. It was the last straw when Dreadnaught then tried a pin save after Buck used Monad as a punchbag. Blizzard stormed in attacking him and before you knew it a wild uncontrollable brawl breaks out. Spoils shared 1-1 … Max Shield defeated Paragon. Some people think Max should of handed the captaincy to Wraith but as the team leader he feels he should still shoulder the responsibility. Although he fully acknowledges Wraith is the better wrestler. At least at the moment. But maybe after this opinions will be revised. Max is in brilliant form and puts plenty of tokens on Paragon. Then some controversy. Max accidentally bumps the ref. Whilst the ref is down Paragon takes control and applies FINAL OVERTURE twice but there is nobody available to call it. As Paragon argues with the announcer Max recovers. At about the moment a new ref is finally sliding into the ring Max is levelling Paragon with MAXIMUM IMPACT. It leads to the pin. Thantos goes nuts and claims Paragon should be given the win. Paragon gets himself together and joins the argument. But it will do no good. Max wins 4-2. Lots of pressure now on the Matador to try and rescue this but he needs a pretty decisive victory. Will we have a complete sweep by all the hero teams? … Wraith beats the Matador of M83 by DQ. As soon as it becomes clear the Matador cannot score the necessary points Thantos decided to attack Wraith when he ended up outside. It was a sign of frustration more than anything else. Low scoring 1-0 from the judge’s desk.
Second Round:
WAR beat the Alliance on a tiebreaker after it ended 6-6. Big match. Really is now into the meat and potatoes of the event. If you are in the last four then glory becomes a very realistic possibility. Crowd loving that it’s heroes against heroes. Although it must be said there’s a very heelish feel to the WAR line up. Nonetheless the three leading figures Star Warrior, Commander Sam and Raven do their best to keep this civil. But it can test friendships for sure. Historically the Champions, FDF and WAR have all been pretty close. Got each other’s backs and all that stuff. Hopefully they can get through this ok. But of course there are a couple of black sheep, namely the unpredictable Mayhem and kranky Mace. Little bit of controversy at the end but WAR prevails after a titanic contest and all is well between the 2 teams … Mayhem gets the better of Pegasus. Mayhem is like a thing possessed at first. Pegasus uses great skill to hold him off but it’s clear this is going to be very tough. Everytime Pegasus looks like he’s going to get an offensive run going Mayhem surges back. Showing a high pain threshold for some of the meaty moves put on him. Suddenly Mayhem goes to the top. He’d rattled Pegasus with a Mayhem Manslaughter giving him enough time to get up there. Worried faces all around as he signals LEAP OF DOOM. The only hope is he would miss as he is prone to. But no, it’s a near perfect impact at +5 and Pegasus is surprisingly beaten. His captain status makes the point deficit narrow but it’s put the Alliance 3-2 down … New Order wins a thrilling match over FDF. Tensions threaten to boil over a few times mainly due to Mace’s attitude but everyone just about keeps a lid on it. Turns into a great contest. FDF will feel hard done by to lose. They were in great form and linking up perfectly. Looking likely winners with numerous pin attempts but just couldn’t quite get the job done. Their moment passes and Dreggs drags New Order back into it. They manage to combine for DECIMATION on US. Patriot to win. However the judges appreciate the closeness and give this a high score. 3-2 to New Order. The efforts of FDF keep the Alliance alive for the last match. At 6-4 down and facing the WAR captain means it’ll be tough but they have a chance … Alpha Force wrestles a brilliant match to beat Raven but it’s not enough. Nobody can fault the effort of Alpha Force. He gave it everything. Raven at 6 tokens by the end without putting anything on Alpha Force. He was hit with TOMAHAWK THRUST five times in all with the last one finishing him off. Anxious wait for the judges decision. It comes in at 4-2. They gave Raven a single point for the way he showed incredible resilience. As the captain this doubled to 2 meaning scores were level overall. But the tiebreaker comes into effect again and sends WAR through. Some sections of the crowd were not happy and feel Raven should of scored a big fat zero but it is what it is. Have to feel for the Champions. For all their success over the years this event has never been kind to them. Maybe if Alpha Force had finished this a couple minutes earlier it could of been different. The ifs and buts will drive you nuts. WAR goes through to the final. Sadly it could be their last as a team.
Genesis makes history by whitewashing the Fighting Titans 13-0. Interesting sideshow. Lord Nexus tried to freshen things up and make a line up change by bringing Titan Fury in and giving Scion Nexus a singles match. His move is blocked by the event organisers even though his opposite number, Vertigo, had no objections. Lord Nexus was frustrated as he thought he’d found a loophole because nothing in the rules officially forbade it. Instead he has to keep faith with the same lineup that shocked the Gladiators. Surely another upset would be beyond them. Sadly this proves to be the case. Maybe the toll of taking on the Gladiators is part of the reason. They got annihilated … Max Shield beats Dragonmaster in a 5-0 squash. Max is in smoking hot form and having a great event. Has this won in less than 20 seconds. DM makes the first move by throwing Max into the turnbuckle but runs into a boot. As DM staggers backwards Max flies forwards at him with MAXIMUM IMPACT. Used the turnbuckles against which he was leaning for extra propulsion. The ageing DM recovers and slaps the mat in frustration over the embarrassing loss. But he then sportingly applauds Max … Frozen Fury crushed Titan Gliders. Blizzard and Buck in no mood for handshakes. Buck says “that can wait til after the match and if Genesis shows up you may not want to. I’ll try and keep it under control”. But it never gets the chance as this is also over in the blink of an eye. Just 5 moves in Blizzard floors Talon with a Frozen Lariat and pins him. Disastrous for the Titans. Losing 9-0 and staring a whitewash in the face. Gotta feel sorry for them. Their good work from their shock defeat of the Gladiators being completely undone … Wraith destroyed Ursa Major. Whitewash achieved. Done in just 4 moves as Wraith turns defence into attack and takes Ursa Major out with SUDDEN DEATH. In total Genesis has needed just 11 moves to win all 3 matches. Crazy stuff.
Final:
WAR wins the whole thing by beating Genesis 9-2. Shame for WAR or more specifically Raven. They’ve done brilliant to reach final and deserve better from the crowd. But the fans are firmly behind Genesis. They just cannot warm to a team with Mayhem on. Raven’s prematch interview with Qualitar expresses disappointment with the fans but closes with “I guess I can just about understand it. Regardless we will be professional and try to win this thing. It’s been good to forget about our feud with the Gladiators for a while. Winning this will be huge for us”. Fortunately his words get backed up as his team destroyed Genesis largely on the back of his own brilliant performance in the opening match … Raven blew Max Shield away. Two much loved heroes lock up to get the final underway. Max is enjoying the greater support and has been in some of the best form of his career to beat Paragon and then blow away Dragonmaster. However that quickly unravels as Raven puts him in place with yet another fast win. This one’s over in 4. Raven struck Max with a couple of Vulture Dive’s and then went for BROADSWORD. With that it’s 5-0 already to WAR … Mayhem gets the better of a tough match with Wraith. Very nearly saw Wraith match Raven and win in 4 moves as he nailed SUDDEN DEATH. Mayhem suffered two pin attempts in the first few moves but just about weathered this ferocious opening salvo. Evens up after this although Mayhem endures fluctuating fortunes with LEAP OF DOOM. His first dabble with it saw him smash into the canvas after Wraith’s invisibility confused him. The second several minutes later was the full on +6 connection. Incredibly Wraith hung out a leg and caught a rope to break the pin. But clear he was not going to be able to take too much more. Mayhem immediately followed with DANGER ZONE and with the 3-2 win awarded WAR has won the event. The last match purely academic now … New Order win a dramatic one over Frozen Fury by DQ. Frozen Fury not taking kindly to New Order celebrating the teams victory in front of them. There’s still a match to be had. Mace accuses them of being sore losers which really riles Blizzard who triggers an immediate brawl. All 4 guys slugging it out before the bell had even rung. Somehow the puny ref amid the carnage gets a modicum of control and things able to get underway. Within 3 moves MACE’S LITTLE HELPER on Buck spawns Genocide. Mace relishes the chance to grapple Genocide and beckons him on. Big mistake. Within seconds he is grabbed like a rag doll and planted into the floor with a piledriver and then hit with CORPUS GENOCIDE. Mace got a lifeline as Dreggs showed he is still looking out for his partner despite their problems and bravely distracted Genocide. He ended up being chased around the ring giving Mace some recovery time. Vertigo was at ringside and although he was keeping his interactions to a minimum he manages to persuade Genocide to return to the ring before he is counted out. Genocide lands a couple of blows before going for his dramatic finisher again. But this time there is shock as he missed and cannonballs across the ring and straight into the opposite turnbuckle. Mace staggers to his feet and tries to take advantage. Perhaps he should of tagged because Genocide recovers pretty fast and overwhelms him with a berserk pounding assault. Genocide hands off to Blizzard now to try and finish it off. Poor Mace copping it all as he is blasted with ICE ATTACK, a Hailstorm Headrammer and a Frozen Lariat in short order. However he is still in it. Finally he decides to tag out and Dreggs is in but he isn’t faring too well either. On the end of FROSTBITE before Blizzard, slightly frustrated his big moves have failed, listens to Vertigo’s instruction and feeds him back to Genocide. Dreggs suffers station-to-station head to buckles and even though he actually manages a counter the effect of those has a delayed reaction. He goes all dizzy on attempting a deathjump and collides with the referee. Dreggs is horrified when he realises and spends a few moments reviving the ref. But he needs his guard up as Genocide goes for him but Dreggs skilfully uses some of his best moves like Dreggs Killer Drop and Nuclear Charge to keep him at bay. It’s very clear Genocide is getting wilder by the fact some stern resistance is being put up. Decides it’s time to go for some weapons and exits the ring and throws anything that’s not nailed down into the ring. The ref calls the bell and vacates the ring as fast as he can. Both Vertigo and Blizzard rush in front of Genocide to calm him down before this gets nasty. They just about convince him to calm down and shortly after that Genocide starts to shrink back to his Buck Steele persona. When Buck surveys the scene in the ring he realises he lost control and immediately apologises to New Order. Dreggs accepts but Mace just pushes Buck angrily away. The ring then gets cleared so the presentation can happen. WAR get their moment in the spotlight. Officials breathe a sigh of relief Genocide is gone. Who knows what might of happened had he and Mayhem passed each other in the runway.
MVP is Mayhem. Almost went under the radar with some of the other dramas going on but he won all his matches against high calibre guys. Lycosa, Pegasus and Wraith were all beaten by him. Unfortunately it’s too little too late from Mayhem as his record as a WAR member hasn’t been great this year. Wondering what lies ahead for him.

CARD 958 – AETHRAN WAR DOME:
Mega stacked card for the GWF making the trip to Aethra. It’s been a long, long time since a card has been staged here. Three belts on the line and the Gladiators out in full force. It has a pay per view feel even though it isn’t one.
Heavyweight champ, Wolf, loses to Mandrill by DQ. Tough one for Wolf. Very mixed reaction to him here at the War Dome. Some Aethrans are baying for his blood whilst some stomp their metal boots respectfully. In a big moment Paragon heads down uninvited for a ringside seat. Ignoring the Aethran hostilities he sits quietly watching his potential next opponent. Both guys are so focused on tearing shreds out of each other they dismiss him. Although Sentry is bothered and threatens to blast him unless he leaves. Paragon refuses to move and Sentry hasn’t got the bravery to carry out the threat. The fear of starting a war with the CPC playing on his mind. He is just about smart enough to know that will anger Mandrill. So it continues but not for long. Mandrill makes the mistake of hurling Wolf outside and following him. Egged on by rowdy Aethrans Wolf starts violently brawling. The barriers separating the crowd are unusually low and one local lifts his metal boot up so Wolf can plant Mandrill’s face right onto it. The ref freaks out as soon as any crowd is involved and calls the DQ. In this environment it’s not safe to continue. Paragon isn’t silly. He’d seen enough and departed the minute the action spilled. It was the right call and he’ll be quietly confident he can topple Wolf based on what he has seen. Of course Mandrill fumes at the outcome and thinks Wolf is pulling these stunts to get purposefully disqualified and keep the belt. Wolf bites back that he doesn’t care for the belt enough to stoop to such tactics. They then angrily clash in the depths of the War Dome resulting in bloody injuries to both. If there is to be a rematch, which depends greatly on Wolf’s next match with Paragon, then the GWF has to give serious consideration to putting this in a cage or something like that. Mandrill needs to take this option even if it means Sentry is not going to be at ringside in a match like that. Or else this may never end with an outright winner.
Tag Champs, the Centaurians, lost to X-Termination via DQ. Sleeze doesn’t need to brood over his failure to win the CPC Cruiserweight belt. An immediate opportunity to win the tag belts and given that Johnny Rocket is firmly on the side of the GWF these are far more important to him and his team. The Centaurians are determined to show their rise to the top has not been a fluke though. The teams have to contest with many Aethran backs still turned. They don’t miss much. The Centaurians go down to an uncharacteristic DQ but still keep the belts. Talisman won’t be getting any praise from Archon for the way he conducted himself. First he pin saves for Blade after the youngster got taken to the HEADBANGER’S BALL. Then he starts brawling with Grunge outside. Claims the slam into a table was self defence. But the ref didn’t buy it. Johnny Rocket then gets in his face over such ‘heelish’ antics. To which Talisman rips the mic from his hands and uses it to lay Johnny out. It’s his way of saying the Centaurians, even though they have extremely high morals, cannot be bullied.
Interplanetary champ, Lycosa, takes his aerial moves a step too far and loses to Wraith by DQ. Wraith had such a well respected run as IP champion that he is offered an immediate rematch. A rarity as it’s normally onto the next guy when a champion drops the belt. The Aethrans have such disrespect for this and the IP belt that most turn their backs and remain silent. Creating a very strange eerie atmosphere. But it becomes such a good match that a few of them turn round after a while to see what’s going on. The early impetus is with Wraith but about 5 minutes in Lycosa comes to life and really turns it on. Vertigo throws out the unwritten rule hero managers don’t get involved unless their opposite number has done something first. Crucially helping Wraith out after BLACK WIDOW’S BITE. Wraith responds to the second chance given but is walking a tightrope. When in trouble he doesn’t want to roll outside for fear of inducing a DQ. Nor does he want to waste his last invisibility attempt. Trouble is he cannot control Lycosa’s actions. The death defying wrestler goes outside and balances on the crowd barriers for a kamikaze leap. The ref panics and tries to stop him but Lycosa does it anyway. Collecting both the ref and Wraith in the process. Luckily the ref isn’t too hurt and has enough faculties to immediately DQ Lycosa for the act.
New Order cause Thunder and Overkill great embarrassment by beating them in a Titan Death match. A cacophony of noise as the Gladiators march out. Metal boots stomping in unison whilst certain sections bang crowbars into metal drums. The tv feed doesn’t do the sound justice. It’s the sort of sound that could make your ears bleed. Could New Order feed off the success of TEAM SUPREME and pull off an unthinkable victory? Indeed they can. Dreggs endures a ropey first couple of minutes as Thunder and Overkill play with him but the moment he gets the hot tag it all changes. Mace gives Thunder a torrid time and gets the team in position to unleash DECIMATION. Thunder musters a dramatic kickout and seems to of dodged a bullet by not only surviving but also getting ontop of Dreggs shortly after thanks to a chair shot on the outside. But then makes a massive error. Attempts a deathjump and gets it wrong. Dreggs skilfully rolls through it for a pin attempt. It fails but when he latches on with TWIST AND SHOUT straight after gets the submission. Overkill’s save never comes as Mace cuts him off. The crowd now goes totally silent to show their disapproval of Thunder for the weak trait of submitting. Kudos to New Order for silencing them. It’s a massive win. A slither of hope for WAR?
Blazing Skull downs Archon in a cage match. Whilst the Gladiators enjoy incredible popularity on Brymstone the reverse is not true on Aethra. All outsiders are to be distrusted. But I suppose if there is a guy with slightly more support here it would be Blazing Skull. He certainly enjoys the rowdiness within the crowd and mutters “my kind of place”. He’s hot favourite what with being at home in the cage but Archon tries to defy the odds. Working hard to get a couple of his submission moves on. Sometimes he can keep the opponent smothered with these and work towards grinding a victory. However Blazing withstands them and breaks the flow. Once free he keeps a much greater distance and comes in with quick high impact moves. Archon struggles with this and starts to look vulnerable. When Blazing hurts him with a Brymstone Bludgeon it provides an escape opportunity. Blazing dares not do anything other than go over the top in front of this crowd. His agility means he is up and over quickly. Archon only responds when it is too late. A desperate reach through the bars fruitless and Blazing reaches the bottom. In a sick moment he then tries to get the cage door locked and then set the ring ablaze with Archon trapped. But even Aethran officials think that is too much and foil that plan.
Vengeance tortured Karah. Poor Karah being used as a demonstration of Vengeance’s brutality. Vengeance is gearing up for a date with Mayhem on the second Aethra show and wants to be at his sadistic best. Karah is pretty exposed. Mollock doesn’t make the trip to Aethran for safety reasons. Terak is busy dealing with some admin issues on his zoo. Vengeance preys upon the lonely youngster. Immediately overpowering a Savage Slingshot Suplex attempt and then relentlessly gouging at Karah’s eyes with Eye Cleaver. It was tough to watch. A Vengeance Spasm finishes the match pretty fast. Vengeance leaves Karah wallowing in self pity. The youngster needs to start showing some improvements if he wants to survive.

CARD 959 – AETHRAN WAR DOME:
Paragon stuns the cosmos to beat Wolf and claim the Heavyweight belt. Winning this match can undo all the difficulties Paragon has suffered. To of held the Heavyweight belt in both organisations in the same year would force critics to say it’s actually been a big success. Wolf tries to catch him cold. Paragon was announced first and as he and Thantos tried to walk up the concrete runway Wolf comes out early. Clotheslines both down from behind. Then takes hold of Paragon’s ponytail and drags him backwards to the ring. Paragon has to go with him if he wants to keep the hair. Sporadic metallic banging shows some crowd approval for the action. Thantos picks himself up just in time to see the match officially commence. He sheepishly continues up the runway. Knowing his history doesn’t make him liked here. Paragon is under the cosh after this start but manages to get some composure and fight back against Wolf. Starts to become a very even contest until a hugely controversial moment happens. Wolf has always been a risk taker and goes for a deathjump. In payback for earlier Thantos nudges Wolf as he jumps. Leads Wolf to misdirecting and colliding with the ref. He’s so fired up on adrenaline he doesn’t realise the ref is hurt and clamps SAVAGE FACE CLAW. But despite Paragon appearing to submit there is no bell. That’s when Wolf notices the ref is down. He releases and tries to revive the ref so he can get this thing won. Whilst this is going on Thantos leans in on Paragon slapping him around the face to get him to focus. Then slides in some brass knuckles. Paragon puts them on and nails Wolf from behind with them. Wolf goes down like a ton of bricks apparently unconscious. But he soon revives as Paragon puts him in FINAL OVERTURE to let out howls of pain. Somehow Wolf resists and drags both him and Paragon over to the ropes to break the hold. Incredible but in the end just futile. Paragon simply lets go, stomps the midsection and drags Wolf into the centre of the ring where he slaps it on again. The now recovered referee takes a long, blood curdling extended howl of pain from Wolf as a submission and ends the match. That’s controversial in itself. Paragon wins the belt. On instruction from Thantos he quickly grabs the belt and leaves. Keen to get out of Aethra and reach the safe haven of Pelf Palace as soon as possible. Thantos will be delighted. His already lofty rep as a manager grows even more and big money bonuses certain to lay ahead for pulling this off. One guy who will be horrified by all this will be Chaos. The worst thing, aside from Mandrill winning the belt, is Paragon doing it instead.
Ladies champ, Amazonia, just about sees off Anaxis with a DQ win. Aethrans show disdain for this belt. If Thrash is not involved there is a zero interest. Plus they have no affection for Amazonia despite her ties to Wolf. Again backs get turned as the two women come out. But Amazonia injects some enthusiasm by smashing her sword into the shield. The metallic sound reverberated and some Aethrans, likely confused by hearing this, start clanking back. Bodyguards, more like soldiers, enter the crowd where the sounds appear to be emanating and drag a few poor souls away. For a fate best not known. Oblivious to what she has done Amazonia continues and kind of freaks Anaxis out. Anaxis won’t go anywhere near the ring until Amazonia puts down her weapons. Of course the moment Amazonia turns her back to hand them through the ropes to officials Anaxis then rushes in attacking her. Difficult start for Amazonia and after this she really has her hands full dealing with Anaxis. They share plenty of fatigue tokens and just when Amazonia thinks she’s finally dealt with Anaxis she is shocked by a kickout following AMAZON ATTACK. Maybe if the Aethran crowd had given the match a chance and watched it they’d have more respect for female wrestling as it was a great contest. In the end Anaxis brings about her own downfall. Trying to get an advantage by rolling outside and using Amazonia’s own shield against her. But there was no way she’d get away with it. The ref may not of seen it but the clank of the blow is very audible amid the crowd silence. He rushes over and sees Amazonia down and puts two and two together to reach his DQ decision.
Mayhem destroyed Vengeance in a Falls Count Anywhere match. So dangerous to let a match go outside the ring in a venue like this. Of course Mayhem is in the greater danger. Seen as a traitor of Aethra. He could easily of been taken hostage and punished accordingly if not for a treaty being signed between the GWF and Aethra protecting him from that. But it cannot protect him from the locals. The match hasn’t even made it to the ring or officially started when the cameras pick up on them already brawling. Rampaging through the War Dome. Down a long hall adorned with conquest maps, pictures of destruction and portraits of past War Ministers. Bursting through a door and into the street. The cameras follow. Many viewers have never seen an Aethran landscape. It is grey and featureless with large buildings blocking the far off field of vision. Poor Mayhem is thrown across a road where locals gather and try to stomp on him with a horde of metal boots. Terrible damage could of been inflicted but he has the wherewithal to take off his chain and swing it at his attackers. It affords him a path back into the Dome and back towards the ring. Vengeance has his own problems having been pushed head first through a hollow wall during the melee but he tries to give pursuit. Mayhem makes it back waits for him in the ring. The bell has only just sounded to begin and officially the action never left the ring despite all that went before. Mayhem comes straight down on Vengeance as he slides under the rope with Cranium Cracker x2, a Gladiator Piledriver, DANGER ZONE and then mounts the turnbuckle. Here comes LEAP OF DOOM and it’s a devastating +6. Incredible. No way Vengeance can deal with that and it’s over ‘officially’ in just 5 moves. What a month from Mayhem. Could such performances forge a way back into the Gladiator team or is he still toast? Sadly for the WAR team the win means nothing. Their fate was already sealed in the previous match by Malice. At least they took it to the wire having trailed by a long way for many months. Vengeance need not worry about the loss. He is sure to be rewarded greatly for steering the team to overall victory.
Malice annihilated Raven in a First Blood match. Simple premise. First to three tokens loses. Likely to be over pretty quick. The brave ref frisks them both thoroughly to ensure no weapons. The blood must flow naturally. Malice can barely be held back. He knows if he wins this the feud is over and it doesn’t matter what happens in the next match between Vengeance and Mayhem. He can be the hero of Aethra. Buoyed by that he rips into Raven who just didn’t know what hit him. Malice hits high impact move after high impact move. FIELDS OF MALICE was even deployed to thrill the crowd but the move that opened Raven up was an Atomic Spike. It’s only a trickle and Raven tried to conceal it but cameras were on him from all angles. The bell is rung and a swift declaration made that Malice is the winner. This is met by stinging metal clanking in unison. Malice doesn’t let himself get over excited. Experience has told him that this is not a trait Aethrans should show too much of. Instead he turns towards a reinforced window near the top of the dome. Thakur is stood there watching. Tellingly he is flanked by some of the old Gladiator legends. Malice salutes Thakur and in one of the biggest compliments any Aethran can receive he is saluted back by him. Malice then turns and marches methodically out of the ring. Not a single pause to take it all in nor a glance back. Poor Raven is left sitting in the ring with his head in his hands. What now for him and the rest of the team?
Thunder and Overkill manage to overcome Titan Gliders. The Gladiators still holding a grudge from TEAM SUPREME. Surely lightening not about to strike twice. They’d probably be lynched by the locals if they stumble. Especially when you consider there is the disastrous defeat to New Order on the last show also hanging over them. It’s kept WAR mathematically alive in the feud going into this final GWF show. But they appear to struggle again. There’s just something about wrestling these two Titans that Overkill doesn’t like. He clumsily tries to deal with Talon but is constantly peppered with Eagle turnbuckle swoops. One of which necessitated a kickout. Eventually he fends the youngster off but tags out to Thunder who resumes normal operations. The Titans have switched too. However Scion is pretty much mauled and gets pinned after THE TEMPEST. Thunder and Overkill leave pretty quick. Although devoid of emotion deep down they will be sweating and watching closely the outcome of the next two matches. It’s their fault that WAR still has a chance of defeating the Gladiators. If they do survive into 2107 there will be a huge expectation on them to start dominating the tag division again by winning the belts.
Hunter’s Moon beat the Mercenaries. Could be the last match for Hunter’s Moon if rumours are true. Terak looking to give Vyper a full singles push after some encouraging matches this year and further develop Karah by bringing him together with Wildcat. A sign of how far Wildcat has come to be considered for a mentor role. Again nobody was at ringside what with Mollock still being kept away from Aethra. Same on the other side as the Mercenaries get another rare outing. Their manager, Krakan, considered still too fragile to take a risk at this venue. It was Hunter’s Moon who prevailed. A close contest ended when Vigilante fell victim to VYPER’S SIDESHOW. If it is to be their last match as a tag team it’s a good way for Hunter’s Moon to sign off. Unfortunately reflecting on their run as a whole it’s been slightly disappointing. They never realised their potential.

CARD 960 – PELF PALACE:
Another kick in the groin for the GWF as the CPC gets to close out the year. For this show Commissioner Grogan, acting as the puppet as always, announces the intention was for a real extravaganza with all the belts to be defended. However this would of meant Prodigy wrestling twice. So the Cruiserweight title match is pulled. But he is quick to point out you wouldn’t get so many title bouts on any single GWF show. There is also controversy as tickets are restricted to celebs and persons of a designated wealth status. Regular Joe’s being frozen out. Wonder if that will continue into next year and wrestling will start becoming a sport for the rich and famous? They just seem to be getting away with whatever they please. Final point is the ridiculous amount of ass kissing for Paragon. He is not wrestling tonight but having just won the GWF Heavyweight belt they are keen to make a big deal of his achievement. A long segment is dedicated to setting up a throne in the middle of the ring where Paragon is invited to sit. Commissioner Grogan then brings out the belt and makes a formal presentation of it to Paragon. Some servants of the Palace place it around his waist and the whole gallery stands up to applaud him as he slowly walks out of the ring and down the carpeted runway. Coupled with all the lavish gifts also received Paragon is dripping with gold. Boy the CPC were really rubbing this in to the GWF. At the same time making sure Paragon feels like the top guy again and ensuring he stays signed on with them.
CPC Heavyweight champ, Prodigy, overcomes Jack of Diamonds. There had been lots of speculation that Paragon was being lined up to challenge and hopefully resume his position as CPC champion but the plan was shelved. Colby and Pelf may despise the GWF but they decided they wanted him focused on capturing that belt and didn’t want any infighting amongst their top team. They may of missed a trick because it would of provided a possible chance of unification here. With the GWF being so unstable it might even of ended recognition of their top belt with the CPC one formally replacing it. Maybe that might still happen in the future. But for now Prodigy gets to continue on and is tasked with seeing off Jack of Diamonds. A surprising contender but apparently Jack left quite the impression in the way he destroyed Bishop Hell at COUNTDOWN TO DESTRUCTION. In a PR stunt Commissioner Grogan says “this shows how we fairly reward wrestlers for good performances. Jack would never get this sort of chance in the corrupt GWF because his face doesn’t fit”. Jack is surprised at this push and vows to grab the chance with both hands and win for the GWF. It would also give the FDF tag duo the unique distinction of both being CPC Heavyweight champions. Of course it wouldn’t be wrestling without some prematch drama. Jack is told he must go out first. He us about halfway down the carpeted runway when his music stops and is replaced with Prodigy’s. Roaring engine noise blares out and Prodigy bursts through the velvet curtains on his motorbike. Showing great skill he burns past Jack but extends an arm for a clothesline given incredible force with the added speed. He only missed collecting Commander Sam because Sam had stopped to adjust his boots. Poor Jack went down face first and the impact left him with a bloody nose. Moments after Thantos comes out laughing. Spits at Sam who is trying to help Jack. Sam reacts and in a throwback to yesteryear the two of them brawl. Meanwhile Prodigy patiently awaits Jack to get to him in the ring and begin. The managers continue their battle throughout and the camera feed keeps moving back and forth between this and the actual match. You could not deny it was all great entertainment. The CPC had nailed it again. The match itself didn’t disappoint either. Despite the bloody nose Jacks gives it a real go. Rocks Prodigy in the early phase. In fact the level of Jack’s attacks creates concern. With Thantos otherwise engaged Commissioner Grogan gets up from his seat in the gallery. He spotted that Magnus Colby was chain smoking nervously a few seats away and he better try and do something. A few minutes later he is at ringside and has brought the Upstart Punks with him. A gang attack perhaps. Jack hits DIAMOND CUT at this point but their presence serves as enough of a distraction even though they don’t enter the ring. Prodigy has a knack of pulling off victories and coming up smelling of roses even when things don’t look good. He takes swift advantage of this to work his way back into the match. Gets on a run with THE PERFECT SINGLES FINISHER and after a few of these the brave challenge of Jack is ended. Outside it hadn’t gone too well either. Poor Sam was holding his own against Thantos but the Punks joined in and he ended up getting a three way beating. Both Jack and Sam lean on each other as they hobble up the runway in the final shot of the year.
CPC Tag champs, Theatre of Pain, lost to Lower World by count-out in a match with Scourge as referee. Strange that the CPC would risk their belts falling into the hands of such savages. The big surprise and possible insurance is that Scourge is the special ref. Crazy move to employ a partially sighted ref with one eye who will blatantly not be impartial. He could become a regular feature next year and beyond. His first move is to demand Maleph leave ringside. He will not tolerate the presence of the terrifying demon. Of course Maleph won’t go quietly. He flaps around refusing to leave but a net falling from the high ceilings surprises Maleph. He plummets to the ground and struggles to get free. All seems very pre-planned. Some lackeys then drag the net away and forcibly remove him. Erebus seems very disturbed by what is going on and pants audibly. Death’s Head just found it funny and gives an evil toothy grin. On the other side Theatre of Pain enjoys the show too. Well Comedy at least. He cackles with a degree of lunacy. But Tragedy will wait no longer. Literally shoving his own partner aside so he can get hands on the Lower World. A physical contest ensues between him and Erebus which lasts a while. However things get a little more exciting once Comedy and Death’s Head get into the spotlight. As Comedy starts to struggle with the sadistic moves of Death’s Head he leaves the ring more and more often. Often getting back in only to bail out almost straight away. Like he’s playing some weird cat and mouse game. Death’s Head decides he is fed up and goes after him. Comedy backs away giggling but goes straight into Erebus. With no control Erebus picks him in a brutal bear hug and then tosses him up the runway. Scourge let’s it go but starts laying on a count. Quite a fast one so as probably to protect the belts. Comedy is counted-out meaning Lower World wins the match but not the titles.
CPC Interstellar champ, Colussus, beats Janus by DQ. A sign of how far Janus has fallen in the pecking order. The only belt he can get near is the Interstellar one but he’ll take it. It’s still gold and as he arrogantly proclaims “it may not be the CPC Heavyweight belt but it still means far more than the GWF Heavyweight belt”. Colby and Pelf would of liked hearing that kind of talk. There is more erratic behaviour from Colussus. In full view of everyone he tells Star Warrior not to follow him down ringside. Insistent he tackles this alone. Star Warrior can see there is no getting through and so as not to make a bad situation worse complies with his wishes. Janus and Thantos enjoy this turn of events as it gives an advantage. A big chance to get all the singles belts back into the Penthouse Suite now presents itself. But Janus will need to raise his performance levels. Colussus has been very motivated to win his recent matches. As if the anger within is driving him onto greater levels than previously capable of. It’s a fantastic match. Janus picks up his form to start well and used a CPC Super Drop to help setup GORDION KNOT which Colussus withstood. Then Colussus surges and rattled Janus with CYBORG DEATHBLOW and a few moves later his imitation of GORDION KNOT but Janus shows similar levels of endurance to stay in it. Unfortunately it doesn’t get the finish it deserves as a brawl breaks out and Janus is controversially disqualified. Thought he would get away with a chair shot. However it is notable Thantos didn’t seem bothered about the outcome. Those reading between the lines are suggesting forthcoming twists will mean this belt ends up in the Penthouse Suite anyway.
CPC Ladies champ, Supernova, stumbles to a DQ loss against Cassandra. The ladies rankings across both feds are a bit of a joke. Two belts within such a thin roster. Cassandra gets the title shot in recognition of achievements in a GWF match as there is so little to go on. Immediately goes below the belt in her pre-match promo in suggesting that Supernova is actually having an affair with Magnus Colby. When that part is transmitted into the Palace arena it causes Colby great hilarity but his laughing quickly subsides when he notices Sonora Pelf has a face like thunder. It’s probably time to drop this angle and just try and get the belt off the ‘brat daughter of Supernova’. For what it’s worth Supernova’s wild child behaviour of the last few months has more or less ended. The calming presence of her brother getting through. She feels protected with him back at ringside. But was taken aback by Cassandra’s early intensity. Amazingly it’s not Cassandra’s first flirtation with the belt and she’s got the scent for it. Supernova has to work really hard to assert herself and even then Casandra continued to look dangerous. Giving a couple of scares via WHIPS AND CHAINS. Supernova recovered and had a period of landing some deathjumps. That broke Cassandra’s momentum. However Supernova’s effort was not being rewarded and the match started getting really messy. Uncharacteristically she got disqualified as during a bit of a brawl with Cassandra the CPC officials tried to humiliate Star Warrior. Accusing him of striking a woman. Of course he did nothing of the sort. Cassandra had bumped into him but they were trying to assassinate his character. It’s all very dirty tactics. The Champions need to rise above it but it’s not easy when Supernova is being labelled as the kind of girl who sleeps her way to to the top and Star Warrior is getting a false rep for lashing out at the weaker gender. Cassandra has jumped on this and demands for the rematch that Star Warrior is banned from ringside. Claiming she is now petrified of him. The CPC has indulged her wishes by slapping a Pelf Palace suspension on him.
Wolf once again defeats Terminus. Just one last dance for these two this year and it’s a good old regular one. Wolf may of just lost his GWF Heavyweight belt but still wants to end an incredible 2107 in a blaze of glory. Terminus earned some respect off Wolf from their last gruelling contest but that all goes out the window as he gets ripped into from the get go. It’s tough for Terminus as he seems to be permanently injured at the moment. The special match challenge has really taken its toll on him. Even now Terminus is still hobbling about. Velar was at ringside and as soon as Wolf sees her responds in kind. Giving a loud howl which stirs movement at the end of carpeted runway. Then the appearance of Amazonia. Ready to watch Wolf’s back in case the CPC decides to pull some kind of gang attack on him. Nobody will want to mess with someone waving about a sword and shield. Predictably the two females have plenty of skirmishes outside the ring whilst inside Wolf gives Terminus a going over. Several minutes tick by with Wolf largely in the driving seat. He manages to latch on with SAVAGE FACE CLAW to win. But little does he know Velar has got the better off Amazonia outside. Managing to avoid being struck with the shield after ducking under a swing. The shield crashed into the ring post and Amazonia lost her grip on it. Velar then used it against her and slid into the ring to try and do the same to Wolf. Although he takes a hit he is running on adrenaline and absorbs the impact. Then he backs her into a corner trembling but Terminus recovers and piles into him. The resultant brawl gets pretty tasty and needs security to get in there and restore control. The wild end suggests there is no closure on this feud and it will go on into next year. In fact look for a mixed tag bout to come out of this very soon.
Mutant beats the Creeper in a fast match. The classic battle. So long a mainstay of the GWF but now part of a CPC show. That sucks but poetically the CPC gets more than it bargained for after it ended as Mutant starts going mad inside the ring. Officials approach with caution as they are unsure if it has an object in its hand. Mutant is making slashing movements towards anyone in its field of vision. Seems as if someone in the crowd, or maybe another wrestler, shot him with a dart. When it is later analysed the tip is filled with a fluid known for inciting rage. A very dangerous thing to do especially on Mutant. Eventually someone gets a leash on Mutant and after being tasered it gets muzzled but several guys have bite marks that need treating. Immediately the Terrorists are prime suspects for the stunt. With all that drama it almost got forgotten that Mutant had pulled off one of the fastest wins of the year. Just 4 moves with an illegal choke hold accounting for the Creeper.
Dragonmaster and Talon defeated the Upstart Punks. Reynard B. Guile proudly orchestrates his new team. But dreams of turning them into champions must go on the back burner after witnessing this. Surely he cannot do anything with this duo. The Titans were having a bit of a change up but had little problem as the Punks were woeful. DM was almost toying with Taurine. There was some horseplay where Taurine bailed out of the ring and everytime he got back on the apron DM just chopped him and sent him back out. When Taurine is finally able to get back in DM just subjected him to COBRA NERVE STOPPER time and time again. Taurine would think it’s over as DM releases only for a second later it to be reapplied. The submission eventually comes. B. Guile throws down his top hat in frustration and petulantly stomps off leaving the pathetic punks to it.
Dynamo easily downed Meteor via submission. Meteor trying put himself in the shop window but let’s face it he’s not exactly much of a catch. At least he’s made a live show. Virtually all his matches have been dark. His alleged substance abuse problem not helping his cause as the GWF wants his problems kept off camera. Dynamo spends most of the duration arrogantly chewing gum and flexing. Taking advantage of this cushy number. Aside from a moment when he missed a turnbuckle charge there was nothing to cause Dynamo any trouble. He didn’t actually use that many moves but all the posing made it much longer than it could of been. Eventually Dynamo grinds a submission out of Meteor after a Brutal Face Massage which rubbed the skin off poor Meteor’s nose.

STARS OF THE CPC - VOLUME 1
What’s with the rebranding of this popular digital release? Is nothing safe? Magnus Colby gives a demonstration on how to treat an employee that shows up late. The poor girl tries to explain how she got caught in a long queue due a failed transport pod. Begs for his mercy and tells how she has a young family reliant on the income. He shows no sympathy and fires the sobbing girl in front of the cameras. Nice way to start … Doomsayer then invites a camera crew into his lab. He brags about some improvements being made to the Transevolver. Ready to accommodate some very special guests. The camera hones in on a document marked ‘top secret’ and a hand reaches out to open it. That is until Monad spots him and uses his four arms to strong arm the entire crew out of there for snooping. Segment over … Cruising with the champ. Prodigy’s prized gold plated motorbike has been replaced. He is shown taking it for a test spin. His two championship belts hooked to the back as he burns around a secluded track within the Palace grounds. A camera guy is beckoned to get on the bike and go for a ride. His headcam gives a birds eye view as he fears for his life. Screaming throughout. With a lap completed Prodigy pulls to a stop and the poor chap gets gratefully off and vomits. Prodigy is heard laughing in the background and insultingly bellows “pussy” … Final vignette focuses on the lunatic Splatter. His precious club Arsenal is showing wear and tear with band aids and cracks all over it. He is seen mulling over a selection of baseball bats and crowbars whilst giving them all practise swings. Settles on a metal bat and is just about to leave the room with it when he suddenly throws it down and runs back to Arsenal before it can be tossed away for good. Loving cradles and kisses it and says “I’m sorry. I could never let you go. You’ve still got a few years left in you”. And now to the matches.
Paragon does enough to beat Buck Steele. It was only a matter of time before Paragon took the gamble of facing Buck Steele/Genocide. His inflated ego such that he believes he can easily handle Genocide if it comes to it. But the CPC isn’t taking any chances. Several snipers are dotted around the venue ready to fire tranquilliser darts into Genocide if things get too hairy. Both Vertigo and Thantos agree to stand back and let them get on with it. An ultra competitive match plays out. More than worthy of headlining this release. Buck proves a decent match for his more illustrious opponent. But inevitably Paragon started get things going and moved towards victory. FINAL OVERTURE is slapped on. What few GWF fans there were started willing Buck to change and burst out the hold. But sadly it doesn’t happen. Not sure even Genocide could of powered out to be honest. Paragon keeps the hold locked in longer than the submission causing Vertigo great anxiety. He tried to rush the ring but Thantos stuck out a boot to trip him. At that speed Vertigo went sprawling. Neither he nor Buck looked particularly clever at the conclusion of this. Paragon later brags the reason for Genocide’s no show is because “he was too scared sh*tless to face the Big Man. He would of lost the power battle”.
Wolf and Amazonia defeated Terminus and Velar by DQ in mixed tag action. Although Wolf has been pretty dominant over Terminus it’s still been feud of the year material. The gruelling special matches challenge between them will long be remembered. The feud between the female protagonists hasn’t quite fired up in the same fashion. It’s simmered rather than boiled. This didn’t lack any fire though. A brawl fest. But Wolf is one hundred percent focused on Terminus. He took some blows from Velar but at no point does he unleash any retaliatory strikes on her. The same cannot be said of Terminus who thinks nothing of engaging Amazonia. Luckily Amazonia can handle herself even against most men. After stunning Terminus with a neck snap she moves onto Velar and used AMAZON ATTACK three times in a row. But Velar kicked out on every single one. Pretty impressive feat. What’s more she then got out the line of fire by rolling outside the ring. Amazonia angrily pursued but met the thick end of a chair. That created carnage as Wolf went mad and helped himself to a chair too. But he punished Velar by taking it out on Terminus. As this spiralled out of control and up the carpeted runway the announcer proclaimed Wolf and Amazonia had won. Surprising that the CPC ref would make that call as expectation was a double DQ. Maybe they are not all corrupt after all.
Dreadnaught beat Colussus in a non-title match. Doomsayer looks like he might be ready to wash his hands of Dreadnaught. He can see Dreadnaught’s body is breaking down again. Even he isn’t silly enough to give Dreadnaught another dose as it could end up killing him. He doesn’t even bother to be at ringside here. The excuse put out is that he is busy preparing the Transevolver for a new kind of experiment. Although Dreadnaught does give him something to think about. Looked like he would be easily beaten by an incredible opening from Colussus which saw him take CYBORG DEATHBLOW and his own finisher twice. However Dreadnaught fights his way back into it. After leaving Colussus clutching at his face following a Terror Face Claw then follows with GUIDED MISSILE. Before pinning Colussus he shouts “that’s how it’s done” in reference to the earlier imitations.
Skinhead finally gets the better of Prodigy, shame it was a non-title match. Been a while since these former partners have met. When they have Prodigy has always had the upper hand. However Skinhead believes it’s his time to shine. He immediately adds spice by addressing rumours that he would he also joining the CPC in his promo “why would I join the CPC? It’s sh*t. My future is with the Rocket Men and I am Johnny’s top man”. He then goes and backs up the bold speak by finally beating his old partner. An entertaining match ends on Skinhead’s Sleeper. Sadly Skinhead pays for showing Prodigy up and making those earlier comments. A long overdue lottery attack is dealt. In a violent attack so bloody it gave this digital release an adult rating Skinhead is beaten for several minutes. Johnny can do nothing to help because he got tagged too. Skinhead is stretchered away. It was a good job the carpeting outside was coloured red as it camouflaged the amount of blood spilt. Several fans were almost sick at the sight of all this.
Bishop Hell flamed Dark Justice. The caption comes up on the tape that this match took place a few weeks ago and the winner would be getting a shot at the Interstellar belt. Interesting that the CPC hasn’t tried to push Terminus back towards it after such a good run as their first champion and becoming quite synonymous with it. For the contest the CPC takes a hardline stance and would not allow the Mercenaries to be at ringside. With both guys penchant for illegal finishers there was a very high probability of a DQ outcome. Fortunately that is avoided. They trade some decent offence until Bishop Hell manages to throw HELLFIRE. Done discreetly enough to get away with it. Sometimes the fiery blast is so over so quick you’d need to review footage in slo-mo to catch it. It proves to be enough to beat Justice.
CPC Rising gets the better of Titan Fury. Is this a sign that Janus and Matador will be expected to continue teaming into 2107? Neither guy was too happy in the role and in recent months had been getting back to singles action. But now they are back together. I guess money talks. The lack of enthusiasm affects their wrestling. Very much second best. They cannot cope with Rising Sun who is firing chops with almost surgical precision. With the Matador reeling he then initiates DAY OF THE DRAGON. Janus’s half hearted pin attempt is stopped. Having seen Rising floor Janus with a kick DM bizarrely offers his partner the chance to finish it. He won’t take no for an answer. But it gave Matador too much recovery time. He kicks out and it served as a wake up call. Before the Titans knew it Matador is executing BULLWHIP on Rising Sun and cruelly robbing them of the win.
Raven outclasses Monad. Is the CPC planning to raid WAR and give them an option to wrestle next year? Raven would be a huge catch and he was being treated like a king. His own personal dressing space. Servants at his beck and call. Raven isn’t giving anything away but he decides to let the CPC waste their money and spoil him. His opponent would be an old rival in the form of Monad. If it is to be Raven’s last match for a year then he would if wanted to sign off in style. Things get pretty dicey when the ref gets taken out accidentally. It took 15 moves to for him to recover. When he does Doomsayer wants a DQ levied against Raven for it but it doesn’t happen. Would of been tough on Raven as during this period he was hitting his finishers frequently. Fortunately it wasn’t all in vein. When Raven hits a deadly piledriver Monad, at 7 tokens, is no condition to go on. Raven manages to sign off in style.
Splatter beats Meteor in a predictable squash. Meteor continues to try and show he is worth a permanent spot on one of the rosters. He looks calm enough on the way to the ring but then suddenly stops a few yards short of the ring. Maybe it’s stage fright or something. Or more likely he realises what he’s getting into. Splatter is intimidatingly taking practice swings with Arsenal inside the ring. When he finally summons the courage to get in Splatter explodes into action. Furiously pummels Meteor who eventually falls through the ropes and gets counted-out. At least his suffering wasn’t too long.

Latest News:
It’s over and what a year that was. The fed wars will continue into next year and possibly beyond. The biggest news is that Paragon starts it as the GWF Heavyweight champion. Overcoming a rocky year to controversially beat Wolf at the penultimate show. It means the CPC controls both major Heavyweight belts.
At the end of year awards ceremony everybody sings the praises of Wolf. He was just incredible and fully deserves his wrestler of the year award. He held the GWF Heavyweight belt for 19 cards and went through an exhaustive schedule of title defences. He also continues to be the most popular. Not that he particularly cares but it’s always nice to be honoured. Interestingly Wraith and Prodigy shared the runner up award. The GWF couldn’t split them. Didn’t see that coming. Was also another good year for Thantos as a manager and am sure he made a fortune doing it. He got manager of the year. What the awards showed is the GWF is at least gracious enough to honour CPC wrestlers. One guy who wasn’t happy with his award was Paragon. Cannot understand why he isn’t popular. But the fans think he is an arrogant piece of work and doesn’t have the talent to back it up. Despite the fact he got his hands on the GWF Heavyweight belt right at the end. Surprise names saw Chaos seen as most inspirational for standing up to both Mandrill and the CPC even though the year ended badly. Whilst Vyper experienced a surge of popularity even he wouldn’t of been expecting. Entertainment factor was definitely with the CPC though. The fans voted and proclaimed two of the matches from THE GREATEST SHOW IN THE COSMOS to be their favourites of the whole year. It beat GALACTICON 20 hands down.
The GWF maybe in trouble but TEAM SUPREME was a blast. Lord Nexus showed the team building exercise had a great effect for the Titans and also showed what a master tactician he is to upset the Gladiators. After that it didn’t matter what happened to his team as it was a success for them. Although the manner of their subsequent elimination against Genesis was pretty embarrassing and took some gloss off what they had achieved. The Colonizers were fuming as they fell in the qualifier and Mandrill complained vociferously about being forced down that route last minute. He warned “treat us fairly. The last thing you want is the Colonizers joining the CPC. We are keeping your fed afloat”. Anyway as things progressed it was a tournament for the heroes. Not a single villain or CPC team remained in the last four. Tournament favourites the Alliance surprisingly fell to continue the Champions rotten record in this event going. We ended up with WAR-Genesis in the final. It was pretty feisty as heroic values were thrown out the window at times. The prize on offer consumed them all. However WAR won pretty comfortably in what could be their last act as a team.
The GWF is trying to build excitement for next year by giving sneak previews of the guys possibly coming in. Spike. Yes that’s right. You heard it here first. Except it might still pale in comparison to what the CPC will probably do. But Spike is one hell of a character sure to jazz up shows over the next year and for Karah the sky’s the limit after getting an upgrade. A shady individual from Brymstone is being teased too. Only silhouettes being shown of this guy/thing so far but looking pretty monstrous nonetheless. The press conferences will reveal more details about all of this and there are more twists and turns likely to come. They were apparently close to snagging Desolation Factor but pontificated too long. Snooze you lose. Sure they will turn up in the CPC now. But the ratings don’t lie. Despite an exciting month and some newbies incoming the fed still lags well behind the CPC. Paints a grim picture for the GWF as we head into 2107. What’s clear is they need a guy at the helm. Solaris has been kind of labelled by the media as being the top guy but has been accused of spending too much time meditating and pursuing whimsical Kronos projects to focus on the fed. Maybe they can persuade Omega to come out of retirement and steer this ship. But does he want the hassle? We should find out soon.
There was a hideous lottery attack as Skinhead paid for beating Prodigy. A lottery attack had been long overdue and it was like Splatter had been storing all that rage up. Skinhead was beaten so bad as to be barely recognisable. Could be out for months. Commissioner Grogan does nothing to punish Splatter. Given the ferocity it’s unbelievable but apparently his bosses enjoyed it too much and think if anything Splatter should be rewarded. It’s made Johnny Rocket more determined than ever to bring the CPC down.
Final note is on the CPC contenders. Dynamo being named top contender to the Cruiserweight belt raises some eyebrows. They’ve never gone public on the weight limit for the category but pretty sure Dynamo isn’t under the 250 lbs mark we are guesstimating it to be. Of course Commissioner Grogan won’t hear of it being dodgy and says Dynamo has slimmed down. But the biggest news is that Wolf, due to the way he has terrorised Terminus at Pelf Palace, is being given the chance to go for their Heavyweight belt. Maybe they still think he can be lured over to them by dangling carrots like that. Poor Prodigy will be dreading having to put the belt up against him. But if he’s being realistic his time at the top was always going to be short stayed. Colby and Pelf have their favourites and whilst they like spoiling him guys like Terminus, Matador and Paragon are all higher in the pecking order.
INJURED – Skinhead (11); SUSPENDED – Star Warrior (4) but only applies to Pelf Palace.
SUDDEN DEATH SCORING … GLADIATORS 35-32 WAR … Sad state of affairs for WAR. Narrowly beaten but they were always playing catch up. The Aethran War machine rumbles on but their success is somewhat muted by a disastrous TEAM SUPREME showing. But I guess the most important thing was winning this feud and in that respect it’s job done in 2106. The press conferences will reveal all but this could be the end of WAR. The team has lasted for 13 years and achieved great things but this is an unfortunate demise.
WRESTLER OF THE MONTH:
MAYHEM – Joining WAR was not a success. Until this month Mayhem barely did anything to help the team. However he showed exactly what he is capable of with an incredible showing at TEAM SUPREME. One of the best ever. Then followed that up by stepping into the lion’s den on Aethra and beating Vengeance. If only he’d brought all this form to the table sooner.
TAG TEAM OF THE MONTH:
NEW ORDER – Seems strange that in the same month WAR is condemned to defeat by the Gladiators that they dominate the monthly awards. New Order, for all their problems, were great. Beating Thunder and Overkill impressively and giving the team a chance at the last GWF show. Let’s hope they can work out their differences and stay together in the future.
GWI - End of Year Awards
WRESTLER OF THE YEAR – Wolf (runner up: Wraith/Prodigy) TAG TEAM OF THE YEAR – Frozen Fury (runners up: Ninja Assassins) MANAGER OF THE YEAR – Thantos (runner up: Vertigo) MOST POPULAR – Wolf (runner up: Vyper) MOST HATED – Paragon (runner up: Draconian Sheik) MOST INSPIRATIONAL – Chaos (runner up: Commander Sam) BEST NEWCOMER(S) – Lycosa (runner up: Paragon) BEST FEUD – Chaos-Paragon (runner up: WAR-Gladiators/Wolf-Terminus) BEST MATCH – Malice-Mayhem in a Barbed Wire Cage #934 (runner up: Team GWF-Team CPC in a Titan Death Battlezone #934)

INTRO TO 2107
The Gladiators are awarded Aethran Casques for getting revenge on WAR and winning SUDDEN DEATH. Usually an honour reserved for the end of a Gladiator’s service tenure but the fact they are all still active is unprecedented and shows how seriously Aethra takes the GWF. No sooner are the Gladiators confirmed as winners do the CPC step in with the largest contract offer in wrestling history to sign them to their brand. They receive no initial response … Doomsayer invites Gila to go through the Transevolver but he no shows. Doomsayer calls him a pathetic lizard and reveals more worthy candidates for a dose are being lined up … Solaris, on behalf of the GWF exec committee, offers Omega the job of Commissioner but he declines. Omega says a United front is needed and due to his history and the fact Star Warrior is his son the villains would never respect him as an unbiased Commissioner … Lastly the GWF cancels press conferences due to some of the unsavoury incidents last year with no word on whether they will return in future. However they do grant the Gladiators a special request for one themselves.
SPECIAL GLADIATOR PRESS CONFERENCE
The Gladiators rejected the advances of the CPC. All they care about is Aethran supremacy. The main aim of the press conference is to honour the original Gladiators now revenge against WAR has been attained. Thakur formerly resigns and Massacre is installed as new Minister of War. The biggest news is confirmation that Spike will return to the ring. Brute is also back as the Aethran Rep, in other words a behind the scenes manager, and will do much of the planning. This is huge and knocks everyone for six. Spike claims he is still in excellent physical condition and hasn’t lost a step since he last wrestled in the GWF. Cannot wait for his second debut. He will also form an occasional tag team with his student Malice called Aethran Dominance. How cool would it be if they captured the tag belts. But it all begs the question on whether the legends can work well with the new generation? Also will Vengeance be accepting of the new ladder of seniority?
CPC PRESS CONFERENCES
Dramatic as always. Latest defector is Qualitar. He proclaims the cancelling of press conferences by the GWF left him with no choice. Sonora Pelf and Magnus Colby hint at the signing of Desolation Factor to go against the Gladiators but more to be revealed in the Transevolver press conference. The big reveal from Qualitar is that Morpheus is the new CPC Commissioner. Huge gasps but Morpheus calls their bluff. Even though he feels the GWF treated him badly he would never help destroy the fed he helped create. Splatter is called to action to injure Morpheus as a result of this public humiliation. But Morpheus shows athleticism in his advancing years and jumps clear of trouble. Guess this means Grogan will carry on in the role. What will be the next move of Morpheus?
TRANSEVOLVER
Qualitar takes great delight in leading this press conference. The highlight is the reveal of Desolation Factor. They burst through the doors of two Transevolvers set up on stage. They are hulking beasts and look more than a match for the Gladiators. They sound off threats of “kill, crush and destroy!” Commissioner Grogan, now confirmed permanently in the role, has some good news for Doomsayer. He recognises the ruling on pinning Monad is unfair and decrees that all four shoulder blades most be pinned from now resulting in a reduction in his pin rating. Notably Dreadnaught is missing in action and nobody is giving any answers. Word is that Doomsayer could see his body was in decay and cast him off.
PENTHOUSE SUITE
Johnny Rocket got invited along and had a slanging match with Qualitar. Initially business as usual as all the stars came out. CPC Rising to continue as a tag team upon which Johnny tries to stir it up with Matador over his diminished role. The feud between Wolf and Terminus set to continue. In fact all much of the same except Thantos says the team has added the Gladiators to their list of enemies. As payback for humiliating the CPC by refusing to join. He has also started wearing his classic cape from his villainous heyday and vows to be even more involved in matches. But the big news is saved for the end. Thinking about it not a total surprise as Colussus joins the team. He bad mouths his former team saying they never looked out for him and secretly hated his guts. Accusations of racism towards Cyborgs are levied. The rivalry between the Penthouse Suite and the Champions team has seriously gone up a notch. It has simmered for a long time but the violent attack on Star Warrior last year and now this has turned this into probably the headline feud of 2107.
THE OUTCASTS
The regular members came out but Bishop Hell dropped a bombshell this would be his last year as he is fed up with wrestling. But he is set on punishing his enemies Blazing Skull and the returning Pulsar (more on that later) before he goes. Mad Jester is as cuckoo as ever. There have been sightings in recent weeks of Defender of the Realm. Is it an imposter or Jester suffering split personality syndrome again? All Jester spouts is zany limericks under questioning. Splatter surprises everyone by showing up despite his GWF banishment being over. He nearly flips on a suggestion that he might fit in with the Terrorists. Instead he proudly introduces his new partner in crime Vyper. Another defector and the pair of them are ready to conduct a new version of the lottery anytime, anywhere. But perhaps the biggest shock is saved for last. Mayhem has circumnavigated his banishment by joining the CPC. He is the only Outcast member along with Bishop Hell tethered to Pelf Palace. But he doesn’t care as long as it keeps him wrestling. Tellingly none of the other WAR members have followed suit. Mayhem’s presence on the roster has given all the Gladiators another reason to feud with the CPC.
REYNARD B. GUILE’S AWESOME STUDS
Qualitar is loving all the drama at the press conferences and jibes how he is so glad he got off a sinking ship. He enjoys reintroducing Vanity here. The Awesome Studs reforming. B. Guile to guide them. His brief managing of the Upstart Punks already over, he dropped them like a bad habit as soon as the chance to manage this flamboyant team arose. B. Guile hopes being around Vanity will help him also become a ladies man. Vanity is full of himself as always but says his main feud is against Brainstorm who has stolen Maxine Babe from him.
SPECIAL CHAOS PRESS CONFERENCE
Chaos calls this press conference to demand that the CPC, or more specifically Paragon, returns the Alpha Stone to him but things take a sinister turn. Stun beams are fired from the door and take out Chaos, Heracles and Anaxis. Sentry is responsible and with his job done the remaining Colonizers enter and Mandrill reveals he was the man that took it. Johnny Rocket worries that a villain civil war will be counterproductive to the GWF but Mandrill doesn’t care. It’s all part of his takeover plan. He even has semi backing with the Gladiators after both parties signed a truce agreeing not to get in each others way. The war between Chaos and Mandrill has officially begun.
OTHER NOTES
The Champions of the Galaxy and FDF have officially combined as one team which will help as they battle both the CPC and villain rivals. Colussus is gone from the team as already discovered. A bizarre recruit is Defender of the Realm. It’s an incredible split personality battle. The possibility of Defender being booked but Mad Jester showing up and vice versa exists. But the team is behind Defender to try and rid himself of the Jester persona and see this as a good sign. Old foe Jack of Diamonds is looking forward to teaming with him even though his still poorly father, Exo-King, warns him to tread carefully. Defender looks forward to reigniting his legendary feud with Bishop Hell … It is a dark time for Chaos. He is fighting so many enemies. Needing to do something before his career crashes to a pitiful end he agrees to Cassandra joining his team. Not exactly sending waves through the GWF as she brings the stumbling Stormtroopers with her. Chaos still has his loyal friend Heracles supporting him though. In fact Heracles is looking forward to feuding with Colussus some more especially now he is with the CPC. Tellingly the retired Lance At-Las has come out of isolation to criticise Heracles. Does this mean the popular Lance is planning a comeback. His unique ageing process should still mean he’s in good nick … The feud between the Colonizers and Genesis rumbles on despite Mandrill making a sworn enemy of Chaos. It brings the Colonizers into direct conflict with the Stormtroopers. But Mandrill believes his team has the power to cope and force through his takeover plan. He is not revealing the fate of the Alpha Stone. Has it been destroyed? Vertigo will be trying hard for his team to stop the Colonizers. He had a successful first year as a manager and did a great job of controlling Blizzard and Buck Steele/Genocide. Hopefully lots of positives ahead … The feud between the Centaurians and Brymstone Burning is heating up! Archon tried to recruit Wolf to help in the battle but was turned down. So instead turned to old friend Pulsar to give one more year. It is badly needed as the dangerous Anarchy arrives (bringing Total Anarchy matches with him) and Blazing Skull evolves. He has harnessed synthetic fire, removed his skullcap and as you’ll see at the first show of 2107 badly injured Bishop Hell at Pelf Palace. A taste of his own medicine. The eye injuries so bad as to sideline the Bishop for 15 cards. The Bishop then announced his retirement but will return to face Blazing Skull in 3 final matches all of the hardcore flavour. He may also request a match with Pulsar before hanging up his hooded cape for good. Aside from these matches Commissioner Grogan has banned Blazing from Pelf Palace for the incident and will review the decision again next year … Shockingly the Rocket Men and Savage Kingdom have called a truce and come together as one large team calling themselves the New Federation Defense Fighters. Commander Sam gave his blessing to the move. They aren’t exactly close but Johnny and Terak (or as Johnny calls him ‘Tarzan’) are both dedicated to taking on the CPC. The union could be why Vyper deserted. However Terak is not concerned as he has great faith in Karah and put him together with Wildcat in an exciting new tag team called Hunters of Prey. The other signing, don’t laugh, is Gila. Terak sees potential in him and had great respect for the way Gila turned down a chance to go in the Transevolver. Gila was smart enough to look at what has become of Dreadnaught and didn’t want to go the same way. But he’s going a step further and taking the fight to Doomsayer’s team to rid this evil and immoral device from wrestling. Unthinkable as it sounds but Gila is riding a massive wave of popularity and maybe the results will even start to improve … The Hitmen and Terrorists are still at each others throats. Krakan must wear his electrobrace for another year. He is very lucky that he will be able to recover from such an injury, if it had happened perhaps 20 years earlier he could of been paralysed. Not too much change other than the Terrorists have lured Mutant away from him. The past ties with Ghengis Khan able to entice the confused creature. Perhaps that dart they shot Mutant with in the final card had a mind altering affect. Krakan is still using the Mercenaries as bodyguards but also wants them to take on CPC Lottery. Whilst Vigilante is pleased to have a hot feud to get his teeth into his partner is not so enthused. Soldier of Fortune is tired of being treated like a second class citizen by Krakan and is considering his options in 2108. That could drive Dark Justice and Vigilante back together as a team in the future which would be interesting given their history. The final note is Krakan is hinting of another Hitman due to join next year. An apparent product of Earth time travel. Who could that be? … The Masked Assassins have pledged loyalty to Mandrill and refused to call a truce with the Titans in the face of the CPC threat famously stating “you cannot bring fire and water together”. With rumours of a Cruiserweight belt being formally introduced in near future by the GWF both Enigma and Lycosa have asked to end their short lived Assassin Air Raid tag team to pursue singles aspirations. Enigma is literally foaming at the mouth at the prospect of holding the GWF Cruiserweight belt. Of course Lord Nexus is throwing his support behind the other heroes in their CPC battle. He is frustrated Darkos would not follow the lead of others and call a truce but says it just shows Darkos’s true colours. It’s the last year for Dragonmaster and out of respect to him Titan Fury will be the only tag team in hopes he can go out with a bang. The youngsters of the team will get their chance to pursue singles glory. Perhaps in the GWF Cruiserweight division if it happens. DM has left fans salivating by announcing his old mate Pulsar has agreed to team with him a few times too as Titan Express during the course of the year … Finally onto Wolf. He’s still a loose cannon along with Amazonia. There was surprise he turned down the Centaurians as a battle with newcomer Anarchy would of been right up his street. But he doesn’t want to be tied down and is sure their paths might cross anyway. His main target still remains Terminus.
FINAL GWF PRESS CONFERENCE TO ANNOUNCE NEW COMMISSIONER
Starts off quite funny as Qualitar was invited to help cover but was thrown out for referring to Solaris and his colleagues as executive clowns. It’s quickly down to business as in the ultimate show of unity Omega and Morpheus are introduced as co-commissioners. Put in place to win this fed war after which a single commissioner will be chosen. Morpheus shows disdain for villainous groups intent on takeover and destruction and wants cease fires called. He vows tough penalties for anyone going too far. They have also introduced a new Galactic Code for GWF wrestlers to follow. There was a lot of questions but ultimately everyone was delighted with the move. Especially Johnny Rocket who found most joy in the revelation a GWF Cruiserweight belt had now been established with the first champion to be crowned at DEIMOS PERENNIAL. The Rocket Men will feature strongly in this division as will the likes of the Fighting Titans and Masked Assassins. Finally a feel good factor back in the GWF but as Omega warns it may take more than a year to turn this round. However he has great faith the GWF will prevail so long as he and Morpheus can keep past differences aside and work together.
NEWCOMERS
DESOLATION FACTOR headline the newcomers. Plundered from WGX and Transevolved to be even more powerful behemoths than before. Will cause a huge headache for the Gladiators when over 700 pounds of force comes at them with their devastating finisher RACKED AND RUINED … SPIKE (sort of) A massive shock to see Spike returning. Can he recapture past glories or is these just a sentimental reunion with wrestling that will soon expose his age and time away? He should be in decent shape having kept active in a secret Aethran fed during this time. His main targets are the Matador and the Aethran traitor, Mayhem. He has called a truce with an old enemy, Wolf, but how long that remains in place remains to be seen … ANARCHY worryingly adds to the ranks of Brymstone Burning. A cruel wrestler even by Brymstonian standards. Expect lots of DQ outcomes with his illegal CRUCIFIX DROP finisher. He will also be, according to Malpeh, one of the toughest guys ever to pin.
UPDATES
BLAZING SKULL has removed his skullcap and is now able to release controlled explosions. Maybe he always could. It’s called DEATH BY FIRE. The intensity of each explosion can be turned up or down to cause damage. The larger the explosion the greater chance of DQ and of course injury to his opponent … COLUSSUS has gone off the deep end. Says his old team has treated him like dirt for years and as a result has joined the enemy, Thantos and the CPC. It is clear his circuitry from the robotic side is on the fritz. He can still imitate opponent finishers but he’s just as likely to use one at random from a past opponent. It adds a real element of uncertainty to his matches … GILA & KARAH ready to make some waves. Gila will enjoy an unexpected surge of popularity after turning down Doomsayer and trusting his own mind and body to improve. Gila is tickled pink to now be a part of Savage Kingdom and Terak feels he is worth taking a chance on. As for Karah, well now is his chance to shine. Moved into a tag team role with Wildcat and hoping to succeed where Hunter’s Moon failed. He has added plenty of flamboyant moves and should be a much better wrestler as a result … THANTOS is taking no chances and is back to wearing his original Evil Gamemaster togs. His aim is to crush the GWF. He is still in top shape and plans to be more involved in matches than ever. His classic moves are ready to put on any unfortunate GWF wrestler that gets too close to him outside the ring … SCOURGE is back and a registered CPC ref. Laughable given his limited sight. There is no doubt he will be favouring CPC wrestlers, especially those in the Penthouse Suite. Magnus Colby says it’s only fair we have a ref in this mould. The GWF has Massif and now we have Scourge … COMMISSIONERS OMEGA, MORPHEUS, GROGAN all receive updates with the usual array of decisions about title shots and suspensions. I have a feeling plenty of rolls on these cards will be taking place.
WHERE ARE THEY?
RAVEN, MACE & DREGGS futures are all in doubt. There were a lot of fingers being pointed at each other after WAR lost to the Gladiators. All 3 were offered contracts to join CPC. Raven and Dreggs had no hesitation in turning down but Mace had to be talked out of it. Raven is planning a year off but will stay in shape with a view to returning to wrestling. The plans of Dreggs and Mace are more up in the air … ALPHA FORCE is missing. A bad time to do so when his team and fed needs him more than ever. No clues about why are being given at the moment … UPSTART PUNKS were dropped like a bad habit by Reynard B. Guile as soon as he got given the Awesome Studs. Now they have mysteriously disappeared … DREADNAUGHT has been offering his services to every team CPC and GWF but nobody is interested. Undeterred he is now going to fly solo. But his body is declining again. Is he foolish to keep carrying on? … LANCE AT-LAS had broken silence and said he may not be able to stay out of this fed war. He is in contact with someone in the CPC or GWF and a return to wrestling next year looks likely. But on which side? … ZOUAVE is wrestling in a small fed on Lacerta but has never forgiven Darkos for ditching him and vows to comeback one day to punish him … CYCLE HOG is too busy dealing with his restaurant on Scutum (called Hog’s Load) to ever considering coming back. Besides he’s got even bigger, if that’s even possible, and can walk no more than a few yards without getting out of breath. A walking heart attack if ever there was one … METEOR & POLLUX are still propping up the undercard. Meteor seems to have some big problems with substance abuse and he may not remain on the roster too much longer unless he seeks help … HOLOCAUST was offered a CPC spot which he agreed upon. But it didn’t crystallise and now he is in WGX and by all accounts doing pretty well for himself. So the likelihood of a return in the immediate future is low … RAM is truly remorseful for the way he acted in the last years of his time in the GWF. He certainly paid for his heel turn by being treated abominably. Luckily he is past all that. Staying retired and close friends with Incredible Badger again … CANNIBAL has had plenty of brushes with the law and spent time in prison. Now free and carrying shrunken heads of GWF victims around. His mind is pretty messed up. Chances of returning, next to zero … MESMER rumoured to of fallen at the hands of Phantast and deceased. Either that or is he is doing a good job of hiding out in Dimension X … VECTOR ONE would be hot properly if he ever came to this dimension. But with huge success, especially with Paragon now out the way, he is lording it up and has no intention of jumping dimensions. His feud with Holocaust is considered a classic.
